How would you build a marketing department today within an insurance agency? Great question, because I literally just did that in 2025. I rebuilt my entire team except one person. The way we've built it is I'm very much a skillset-driven roles. Like, I'm not hiring a bunch of generalists just so we can, like, deal with things when they get set on fire and everything's an emergency. I require my team members to ask questions when a request comes. I require them to and empower them to deadlines and make sure deadlines are okay so we can all work in a, in a very healthy mindset. But for me, it's like, what skills, what skills align with what our foundation of our expectations for the team are? I want them to own what they're doing, and I want them to be known as the person to go to. You should not come to Shelby for everything. We should have established our team so well that you trust them and that, um, you know, that they can guide you through the process and meet the, meet the expectations.
