Andy Neary uses a baseball-pitcher analogy to argue that demonstrating full commitment—"going all in"—earns respect and opens opportunities in business. He shares a personal anecdote: after re-enrolling in a paid mastermind, business opportunities quickly arrived, which he attributes to signaling commitment. The piece closes with direct questions and a call to action: identify where you are holding back and take a decisive step (coach, group, mastermind) to show you are "here to play."

For a pitcher, the quickest way to gain the respect of the batter, to show a batter you mean business, you're going all in. Is to show them that you're not afraid to own the inside of the plate. You're not afraid to take that fastball high and tight in on the belt. Not that you want to hit the batter, but you want to show them you mean business. Here's what happens. Number one, you gain the respect of the batter. Number two, it opens up the rest of the plate with a ton of opportunity for you to do what you do best. And the same mentality applies to your business. If you're not getting the results you want, the sales aren't coming in like you want them to. I ask you this. Are you showing commitment? Are you showing the universe you're all in, you're here to play? Or are you just trying to nibble around the corners? Let me give you an example. Two days ago, I decided to re enroll into a mastermind that I had been a part of before. Was it a small investment? No, it wasn't. But within an hour of re enrolling, here's what happened. I had business opportunities come in that I had been struggling to get. You see, when I showed that commitment, I told the universe, I'm going all in. It said, okay, here's your business opportunities because it opened the rest of the plate for opportunity. So. So I suggest you do the same. Where are you holding back? Where are you not showing that conviction? Where are you not telling the world the universe you are all in? Is it self development? Do you need to hire a coach? Do you need to join a group or a mastermind? Where do you need to show your business? Show the universe you are here to play. Because that just might be what you're missing to let the floodgates open of opportunity.
