This is a short interview excerpt from a YouTube video in which Andy Neary explains his mission to improve training for insurance producers. He describes entering the business 20 years ago and finding little to no formal training, outdated practices (designed for 1985-era sales), high turnover among new producers, and a belief system that promises future leisure without teaching how to win. Andy positions himself as building a go-to training program to help producers succeed and increase agency value.

Dude, you're so into this insurance thing. Like what, what fires you up so much about this?
Here's the deal, Michael. Like, my mission with my coaching is I'm pissed off because.
When I got in the business 20 years ago, you know, your dad's still new to the industry. He's been around eight years. No one trained us. You know, there was this belief they sold us on this carrot that if you hung around long enough, you make enough money to golf three days a week. Go get them, kid. But nobody put in the practices to train people how to win, how to train producers how to grab attention, let alone how to do it in 2021, which is a whole new world. We're still being trained how to win in 1985. And so it's my mission to help those producers because I see too many young ones and I call your dad a young one. Not by age, but by the young in the industry. They don't stick around long enough. There's too much turnover because they're not trained.
And that's why I've made it. My mission is I'm the guy that's going to train these people so they can have long term success. And these men and women that own these agencies, this is their net worth. Wouldn't you want your producers to win so your net worth can grow? I hope so. And so I'm going to be the go to training program for that.
