Andy Neary delivers a short spoken message linking lessons from sports to leadership during the shift to remote work. He highlights that teams are working remotely amid fear, anxiety, and stress, notes leaders may doubt their skills, and asks leaders to comment with the single biggest challenge they face leading in a two-dimensional ("2D") remote world. He closes by urging leaders to maintain mental and physical self-care so they can lead effectively now and after the crisis.

So one thing I love about the world of sports is the lessons it teaches around leadership and communication. Two skills that are more important now than they have ever been. The way we work, the environment we work in, the way we communicate, has literally been flipped on its head. And as a leader, it is so easy to question your skills. Right now your team's working remotely. They're working out of fear, anxiety and stress. They're probably not getting as much done as they used to. And you just want to help them figure out how to get more done in less time. But in order to do that, you, you have got to be your best. So you can bring your best to your team every single day. So we have no idea how long we're gonna be working in this environment. It could be permanently. So here's my question for you. If you are a leader of a department, a team, or an entire organization, what is the number one challenge you face right now in leading your team in this two dimensional world? It's a new time, it's crazy times. We're all trying to figure this out and we're putting some programming together that we're excited about, but we wanna make sure we are addressing the challenges you are facing right now. So if you could do me that favor, Leave the comment, Let us know the number one challenge you face right now as a leader in this 2D world. It would help go a long way to make sure we're putting the right content together for you. And last, but certainly not least, please do me a favor. Make sure you're still taking care of your mind, take care of your body, stay focused, stay positive, so you can lead your team successfully through this time and well beyond when it's over. Thank you.
