Hey hey. Just got back from doing two fabulous selling on Social Media workshops one at A one Digital Sales Summit. Two Just got back Monday doing the Selling on Social Media at Rosetta Fest in Chicago and when I teach this course, common mistakes tend to pop up often. There are three I want to address. Number one, likes and comments don't pay your bills. If you are there to engage and connect with your prospects, your content probably isn't going to get a lot of engagement out of the gate. That's okay, people are watching. Number two, post for your prospects, not your peers. If you want to grow your business using social media, post content directed at your prospects. And number three, it's about performance, not popularity. You are not using social media to become some kind of celebrity. You're just there to do business. If you want to have success using social media to grow your business, it's knowing these three things, avoiding these traps and just post content to educate your prospects.
