Short spoken segment from a YouTube video by Andy Neary advising listeners to self-assess career satisfaction and personal commitment. Neary urges viewers to honestly examine whether they truly like their work, to acknowledge there is no failure in changing careers, and to first ensure they are honoring commitments to themselves before expecting to do so for others.

If you're sitting there with a few days to go here in 20, 25, and you're assessing next year, and one of those assessments is, do I even like what I do? There's no failure in saying I'm going to go do something else. But if you do like what you do and you're not happy with where you're at, you got to look in the mirror before you do anything else and ask yourself, are you showing up every day for you? Are you honoring the commitments you've made to yourself? Because if you're not, how the hell are you going to do it for anybody else?
