Andy Neary advises creators who are stuck recording videos to prefer long-form videos because they are easier to record: knowing you have 5–10 minutes lets you slow down, tell stories, and pause. He recommends simply starting to speak and teach (use a whiteboard, speak as if in a conference room), emphasizing that length is less important than the content.

If you are struggling to record videos right now, longer videos are actually easier to record because if you just hit play, you know you're going to talk for 5, 10 minutes. You can slow down, you can tell stories, you can pause. So my advice to you is that if you're wanting to create video right now, but you're just stuck because you don't know what to say, and more importantly, how long they should be, just go long form. Just start speaking. Start teaching. Hey, you got a whiteboard behind you. Go to the whiteboard. Start instructing, just like you would if you were sitting in a conference room with a prospect. Just create long videos and just teach. The length doesn't matter. It's what comes out of your mouth. Start.
