Hello and welcome back to Highly Caffeinated conversations with amy Andy. Episode 15 on a hike. Yesterday we were talking about some of the books that we continue to go back to or that were kind of like life changing for us. And we thought we'd each share three books that have been our go tos. I'm gonna kind of share some more like self improvement books that have always been my go to. The first one is the Four Agreements. I honestly read this every year in January. It is a good reminder to just keep me grounded, the simplicity of what's important in life. It's my, like I said, I read it every January. It's short, quick read, but very thought provoking. My second one is the Gifts of Imperfection by Brene Rown. I'll be honest, completely fessed up. I'm a perfectionist and this book taught me how my perfectionism and my perfectionist ways holds me back. It really truly does. And this I've read several times when I get caught up in those perfectionist ways and it's holding me back. This is a good go to, to reread. And then the third one, if you're just stepping into that world of like people talk about energy or talk about the universe or talk about what I call woo woo things which very woo woo. This is a good intro book. I think it's a good reminder just for anybody if you're wanting to step into that space, if you wonder what the heck other people are talking about. The Universe has your back by Gabby Bernstein. I think this book is amazing. It's a reminder that the universe, God, source, whatever you want to talk about is always working for you and not against you.
And.
And it's an easy way to start to get a relationship with that thought process and to live in faith and not fear.
So let's talk about the same concept on the business side. So the first book I want to share with you, I'm actually reading it right now. It's called the Code of the Extraordinary Mind. Now this could technically be a personal book, personal improvement book too, but it tells you or teaches you how to challenge every rule you were taught growing up. And guys, right now that's more important than it's ever been. We need to be challenging what we know to be reality that we know that we couldn't do before because the game has literally just changed and changed forever. The second book is the Compound Effect by Darren Hardy. This is actually one of the first books I read when we moved out to Colorado. I really started diving into personal development. Darren was really my first go to mentor Darren if for some reason you watched this. Thank you. So this is an awesome quick read. It's called the Compound effect, How to compound compound your results of business and in life. And the third one, which was a surprise to me because I bought it because I follow him is Sell it like Sirhan. If you're if your vice like ours is to watch Million Dollar Listing New York, you'll know who Ryan Sirhan is. I bought the book because I like him, but actually it's a really good book on sales. So if you're interested in upping your sales game, read Sell It Like Sirhant. The last one is a bonus because of what's going on right now. I don't care what sex, religion, race, you are. The book you need to be reading right now is the Book of Joy. It is a five day conversation between the Dalai Lama and the Archbishop Desmond Tutu. It is fantastic. It's about their thoughts on happiness, gratitude, life in general. It is a must read. Now, last ask, what is your book?
Yeah, tell us what your favorite books are.
What are you reading right now to uplift your life, uplift your business. These are difficult times. So we want to hear from you and and until tomorrow, enjoy today, Live Today.
