Alright, this week I'm going to share some big advice as you kick off this week. It's actually the topic of this week's Friday Bullpen Sessions episode, so do not forget to download it. This Friday, in the episode, I share an event that happened to me that was big time impactful to me emotionally when I was in high school. It's actually some negative comments that were made about my abilities, some judgments that were made about me publicly, literally in a newspaper. And when you're 16 years old, that impacts you big time emotionally, but it also had a huge positive impact on the success I had in baseball, in high school, college, and even at the pro level. And this is the advice I want to give you today. When you put yourself out there, when you promote yourself, you tell the world the value you have to bring. You know what's going to happen. You're going to have your doubters. You're going to have those people who make negative comments about you. Those people who judge your abilities and your talents. And it might even be your family or your friends. Here's the best way to get back at them. No, you're not going to say mean things back to them. You're not going to get on a keyboard and make a negative comment back to their negative comment. You're not even going to fight them. All you're going to do is prove them wrong with your performance. Those negative comments that were made about me back when I was 16 years old, it drove me to have massive success in baseball. And I want you to do the same thing this week. Put yourself out there. Promote yourself. Tell the world how good you are and that you have top talent. Because people are going to make judgments about you. People are going to doubt your abilities and when they do, just prove them wrong with your performance. So that's what I want you to do this week. Go have fun. Make it the best week you have ever had. And when people start doubting you, zip the lip and just prove them wrong with massively successful performance. Go make it happen. This.
