A couple hours ago, I was on a call with a producer who is struggling a little bit to win some business. Really good producers got a lot of great ideas, and it was interesting. As we dug into why he was struggling, one of the things we uncovered is he's simply not asking for the business enough. You know, it's easy to think that it's going to be your strategies and all your innovative ideas that's going to win the business. But at the end of the day, often what is keeping you from booking appointments and getting the agent of record is actually asking for it. You have to tell people you can help them. You have to ask them to book an appointment with you so you can show them how you can help them. And then when you show them how you can help them, you have to ask for the business. And for those who want to be innovators and game changers, sometimes you need to win the business first before you can disrupt, before you can innovate. So make it easy for people to hire you, but most importantly, ask for the business.
