A short motivational YouTube video by Andy Neary encouraging viewers to share personal stories on social media. Andy models the prompt with two personal artifacts—an MVP pitching trophy from Helena Brewers (summer 2000) and an Ironman Wisconsin 2010 finish photo—and asks viewers to record a video explaining what in their work-from-home environment inspires them and to post it online.

Alright, I want to give this a try. Might be an epic fail, but hell, we're going to do it anyways. I want to start a chain of storytelling. There are so many people out there right now and it might include you that want to share your story on social media, but you might be a little afraid. You might fear what people might say, so you don't do anything at all. Now's the time to share your story. The world wants to hear it. So here's what I want you to do. Now that you're working from home, I want you to take something in your work from home environment that inspires you because there's probably a story behind it. And I want you to get on video, I want you to share what it is that inspires you, and I want you to share the story behind it so we can get to know you. So, for example, I've got two things on my wall above my desk that are so near and dear to my heart. The first one is the MVP trophy I won while pitching for the Helena Brewers. I was named Most Valuable Pitcher the summer of 2000 while pitching up in Helena, Montana. The second thing is my Ironman finish at Ironman Wisconsin 2010. That's me crossing the finish line. These are so important to me because when I'm having a rough day or I'm doubting myself, all I've got to do is look up at these. And these are accomplishments of mine. Yes, from the past, but they tell me that I can do anything. I was a 5, 9 pitcher, and here I was Most valuable Pitcher for the Helena Brewers. Here I was doing something some people think is impossible. Ironman, right? You're swimming 2.4 miles, you're riding 112 miles on your bike and then you're running a marathon. But I have them because they help me put my mindset in the right place on those days that I'm just slightly off. So what's your story? Here's what I want you to do. I want you to record a video. I want you to tell us what inspires you, share something that inspires you to do your best work and be your best and tell us the story behind it so we can get to know you and put it in the comments below or post it on LinkedIn, I don't care, on Instagram, on Facebook. But get your story out there because the world wants to hear it.
