You need to act with urgency and you need to act with patience. How in the world do those two words go hand in hand? Last week I was on a podcast and I was asked the question, Andy, what are some of the common traits of the best advisors you get to work with? And I said, here is the key. They get up every day and they act with urgency. They leave it all on the field every single day. They do not take plays off. However, they go after their to do list with a sense of confidence and patience because they know they do not need to create a win tomorrow. They know those small to do's that they're going at with urgency today are creating the foundation for massive success down the road. So my challenge to you today is this. Are you getting up every day and are you getting after it? Are you acting with urgency in the moment or are you taking plays off? However, are you also applying the confidence and the patience that you know what you're doing today is going to create a big win down the road? I think you know the answer.
