Andy Neary describes how a serious health crisis strips away every other goal, leaving only recovery. When your body fails, career ambitions and wealth don't matter. That forced clarity, though painful, can reshape what you actually want from life.

You can have a lot of goals, a lot of priorities in life. Once you have a health event, you have one. When health is taken away from you, whatever goals, dreams you had, making money, blah, blah, they all go away. Yeah, because you have one. There's only one goal at that point. It forces you into one, and that's to get better. I love the impact that's had on— I mean, not that anybody wants to go through something like that, but it can have such a positive impact on your life.
