Short motivational YouTube clip by Andy Neary arguing that by prioritizing personal health one can effectively 'gain' 112 work hours per year relative to less-healthy peers. The speaker cites a statistic that the average U.S. employee calls in sick 14 days per year (14 × 8 = 112 hours), frames health as a non-negotiable especially during Covid, offers personal attendance as corroboration, and urges better diet, exercise, and mental inputs as actions to gain productivity.

All right, today I'm going to share a silver bullet. I don't believe in silver bullets, but.
I'm going to share one today. And I guarantee you might not want.
To hear this, but I'm going to.
Share the secret with you on how to get back 112 hours every single year and how to gain 112 hours up on your competition. You ready for the secret? You ready for the silver bullet? You might not want to hear it.
But here it is. Come closer.
Take care of your health. What? Yeah. The average employee in America calls in sick 14 days every single year. Now, you may not be calling in that much, but I can guarantee if you add up the number of days you do show up for work feeling like crap, so you're absolutely unproductive. Gets close to 14. So if you take 14, average workday is 8 hours. 14 times 8 is 112. Now, I know we're all battling unique circumstances right now with the virus and everything, but what I'm telling you is it is time to focus on your health. If Covid has taught us anything, it's to focus on your health. Make it first. Make it a non negotiable. You are not being selfish if you put your health over other things in your life. Because if you are going to bring your best to others, you have to be your best. Now, one thing I'm blessed is I have not missed a day of work, as far as I can recall, for at least two years. Knock on wood somewhere. Yes, there's a little luck involved, but it's because I'm focusing on my health and I'm asking you to do the same. Think about what you're putting into your body.
Heck, think about what you're filling your mind with.
If you take care of your body, you take care of your mind, you make it a priority.
Good things happen. Because when your competition's eating the crap.
They'Re not exercising, and it's making them absolutely ineffective and unproductive, you are gaining.
All those hours on them. So do yourself a favor. Eat better, get out, and get exercise in. Fill your mind with the right stuff and make it a priority.
Make it a non negotiable because you're.
Gonna make it out of this Covid situation much healthier, and you're gonna be a hell of a lot more productive than your competition. So go make it happen today.
