Have you ever been ghosted before? You know that feeling, right? You have a great meeting coming up with the prospects. You're all prepared. You jump on zoom. You got your notes spread out on the kitchen table, and then.
Ten minutes go by. Do I have the wrong time? Did I send the wrong link? 15 minutes go by. 20 minutes go by. Now you're angry. And after 25 minutes, you finally jump off the zoom. You send them an email, maybe a voicemail, and nothing. They've ghosted you. What do you do? Do you let that ruin the rest of your day because, hey, it was a great prospecting opportunity? Or do you simply move on and know that there's a better opportunity waiting for you? Let me give you a prime example. It happened to me yesterday. I had a great call schedule with a coaching prospect and they didn't show up. I sent an email. Nothing. And I let it impact the first five minutes of my next coaching session with a client. And finally five minutes in, I paused and I literally stopped and I said, okay, Andy, when one door closes, another one opens. There's a reason you were ghosted. They weren't going to do business with you anyways. Move on. There's a better opportunity waiting for you. And you know what happened? I got off my coaching call with my client. The next call I had was with another coaching prospect, and we're going to do business. So my advice to you is, when you get ghosted, it is going to happen. Don't let it ruin the rest of your day. It happens for a reason. They weren't going to buy from you anyways. Move on. And always know when one door closes, a better opportunity is about ready to open. So use this advice. Go crush your days. And when the next time someone ghosts you, say thank you because you weren't going to do business with me anyways.
