Andy Neary addresses the LinkedIn community in a short spoken video (dated around late 2019) asking viewers to choose the single biggest thing they will invest in for 2020. He frames three explicit options—product (new/different products to sell), personal development (skills/knowledge), or people (hiring/building and investing in team members)—states his own choice (people), and invites viewers to comment.

Hey, LinkedIn community. I have a question for you. It's October 10th. Got about 75 days to go in the year. I hope your business is booming. Even if it's not, you still have plenty of time to make it a great year. Here's my question as we look ahead to 2020. What is the number one thing you are going to invest in next year? Is it going to be a product? Are you going to look for newer, better, different products to sell next year to grow your business? Is it going to be personal development? Are you going to invest in your own skills and knowledge so you can be better next year? Or is it going to be people? Are you going to build a new team, hire more people, or invest in the people you have so they can gain the skills and knowledge they need to be better? For me, it's going to be people. As I grow a team, build a team, I need to find the best people out there, outsource to the best people out there. So for me, it's going to be people. What's it going to be for you? Weigh in the comments below. Let me know. Is it going to be product? Is it going to be personal development? Or is it going to be people that you invest in 2020 to make it the best year you've ever had?
