A short YouTube conversation (Andy Neary and Karim) about common misperceptions in the insurance industry. They introduce three focal points: education/training of producers, questioning an outdated definition of leadership, and promoting diversity of thought to develop future industry leaders; the goal is to solve these problems.
If I said to you on this camera you're looking at a former pro athlete and a current owner of an insurance agency, what would be your perception? Yeah, you would think Karim is a former pro athlete and I own an agency. But in fact, the opposite is true. And that's what we're talking about with misperceptions today. We're here to address the misperceptions that exist in the insurance industry when it comes to training producers and training the future leaders within the industry.
Andy, we've got three things that we want to talk about, right? We really want to start out focusing in on the education and the training process of producers. The second thing that we want to focus in on, quite frankly, is looking at the outdated definition of leadership. And the third thing, probably most important is diversity of thought.
I love that. And how we're going to do it is we're here to solve that problem.
