Caleb, a former ranch hand, and Chad Owen broke into the annuity business without prior experience. They credit success to intensive learning, long hours, and studying products and strategies, arguing that non-traditional backgrounds don't hold you back.
But we didn't get into this business because we love annuities.

Right. It's true. Like, we didn't even know what annuities were when we got into this business.
Right.
You know, we knew what the specific thing was kind of that we were setting out to do. So for us, it's been, you know, huge learning curve as quickly as possible and just, you know, working really, really, really hard, you know, putting in long hours, staying up super late, studying products, studying strategies, studying business principles, all these different kinds of things in order to get to the place that we're at now. So even for agents that are listening to this, one of the hope field things is like, regardless of where you are, regardless of the background that you're coming from, there is so much hope for you to actually succeed in this business. Because if a ranch hand like Caleb can do it, then anybody can do it.
It's so true, man.
We joke about Chad, too. You could say the joke about Chad with his education.
Chad who?
These are his words.
You would back it up for sure. But if Chad, who graduated from high school on Hawaii Maui and has no college degree, can produce 20, 25, $30 million a year in annuity premium, then anybody can.
