I haven't even— I'm sitting here looking at this. When you, when you arrive at the, the the, what do you call it? The Ritz-Carlton, they give you a glass of champagne, darling. But I haven't even had a sip. I said, thank you. And one of the guys downstairs, he's like, Ms. Mason, just let us know if you'd like to come and pour you another glass of champagne. I said, oh, I love the service, darling. I love the service. And when you walk in, you see all of these different array of different chocolate brothers that just open the door for you. And I'm like, oh, I love to be served by the fellas. So it's been beautiful, it's been wonderful since I got here. So I'm gonna share with you what I'm going to do differently in 2019, and I hope you have some things that you plan on doing different in 2019 as well. So number one thing on my list, the number one thing on my list is trust myself more. And this is what I mean. This year I looked at situations where people might have said, um, I was being a little too harsh. Uh, my cutoff game is strong. Um, and my cutoff game is strong. Like, my daughter and I, we were having this conversation today. She's like, Ma, you can just whoop. Like, people are just no longer exist to you. Like, I don't have— I'm not one of those people that have to ask the why or have to dwell in the what happened was or need particular details because I've gotten to a place of self-love that I love myself so much. I look at is what's being presented to me serving me? Is it of value to me? Does it appreciate me? And if not, I make an assessment and I make a decision. So one of the things that I did was I let people get to me a little bit about my cutoff game. And why it was so strong, right? And now that I look back, I was absolutely correct. Meaning, when you're doing the spiritual work that you need to do, um, as well as you're tapped into that feminine energy, you can come to decisions about people and about situations a lot faster because you're getting divine download. You're getting— the Creator is giving you divine downloads. So this year, like, you know, I, I've updated and things of that this year. And, you know, some of the fellas I went out with, they got upset, um, because I cut them off very quickly. And I was like, wait, but maybe you did cut, cut them off a little bit too quick. Now I looked at, you know, my dating life this year and those that I did cut off that way. And once you get to a place where you know what you want in your life, if it's what's being presented to you isn't, doesn't match that, boop, you out of there. So I remember having one gentleman tell me, you know, after 3 weeks, you know, I just let it go. And he called my phone and I had deleted his number out of my phone. And, you know, his actions didn't, patterns didn't match his words. So after 3 weeks, I'm just one that believes in this. When you want to, to be with someone, your actions will line up with that. That's why I always say, and I teach my ladies in the Teach Me How to Date VIP Academy, do not entertain men that are not eager to see you or hesitant to leave you. If someone is eager to be in your life, you don't have to worry why they don't text you, why they don't call you, why they're not making plans. People that are ready for you, they don't operate in the same manner of someone that's just looking to, you know, date you, take you out to dinner, and, you know, y'all may— they may want the companionship and they might want companionship and sex, but not necessarily the relationship of the responsibility of a relationship. Well, I'm able to identify that very, very, very quickly. And men that I've gone out with this year, they didn't really— they don't like that, right? So one in particular, 3 weeks in, you know, it wasn't— his actions and stuff wasn't going as doing what he was normally doing. So I just said, you know, April, he's not ready because I know what it feels like to be pursued. So I cut him off. I heard from him, and I said— I answered my phone. I said, hello. He was like, hey. I'm like, hey. He said— I said, who is this? And he said his name. He said, wait a minute, did you delete me out your phone? I said, yeah. He said, so you deleting me from your contacts? I said, yeah. He said, why did you do that? And sometimes I could be a little sarcastic, in true April Mason form. I said, because you don't want ish. He said, what? He said, you don't want ish? He said, how do you know that? I said, because your actions and patterns aren't consistent of a man that wants anything. And I said, it was great, you know, we, you know, connecting with you, but you don't want— you don't want ish. But that's not the word that I use. And so I allow, you know, he, he talked and we, we, he's like, April, you know, this and this and that is that. Oh, you know, he had all of these things and this is what happened. Fine. So I looked at myself, I said, okay, April, you have been accused of cutting people off rather quickly, right? So I said, you know what, you're absolutely correct. I did cut you off without asking any questions because my belief is if we're in the dating, collecting data stage, I don't— I'm not trying to ask you why aren't you consistent and what— why aren't you doing the things that you started off doing because we're just merely collecting data. So I'm not going to get into all that because at this stage I'm showing you me by my actions and patterns and you showing me you. All I'm doing is looking at what you're giving, giving to me and presenting to me, and I'm assessing, does this work for my life? So all I did was assess. It didn't work, so I just deleted you out my phone. I didn't know I had to have a conversation, you know, to delete someone that I am merely just collecting data with. Now, we are not exclusive. I'm just collecting data. We only 3 weeks in, so let him go. Well, he came back and, um, we got to— I gave him a second shot. I did. I gave him a second shot. Because I said, you know what, April, I know how to look within. You have been accused of— zoop! And I got, you know, um, my friend Joe, my best friend Joe, he said, April, you send people to the— I don't know if I'm saying it right— to the guillotine. Anytime something happened with a dude, he'll send me a picture of somebody getting their head chopped off. He said, you do it really quickly. And I was wondering, is there— was there something wrong with me doing that? So this particular guy, because of the way he addressed me Um, I said, you know what, I apologize, I apologize. And we, you know, we, we had this kind of— this had conversation, and he said, April, I can't believe you dumped me, and blah blah blah blah blah. And I said, you know what, I apologize. Y'all, let me tell you how dope Miss Mason is. I apologize so well because he said, you're not on my team, and I thought we were on my team, and blah blah. I apologize so well that when he got back in town and, uh, we hung out I had on a t-shirt that said #Team and it had his name on it. I created it myself, iron-on. Miss Mason know what to do. So I said, you know what? I'm going to take it into consideration because you are actually the first man. You are the first man to actually say that, you know, talk to me in a manner, you know, to really explain to me exactly how I do that. And he was very calm. There was no arguing. I love the way he handled me. I thought that was actually very nice because he knew as a grown man how to communicate in that particular area. So, you know, he was like, April, you're not on my team, and this and that and the other. When he saw me and I had on his jacket, y'all, let me tell you how to keep it. You keep it right. He just running his mouth after he sees me a couple of days after our conversation. And I said, I'm not on your team. He said, no, you're not on my team. And I thought we were blah blah blah. And I said, yeah, but you— I said, remember the reason why we're here is because of your lack of consistency and your patterns were not adding up. And I'm not upset, I just assessed the situation and we're not looking for the same thing. How do you know that? He goes, you're not on my team. So I unzip my jacket and I said, I'm not on your what? Why he running his mouth? He said, you're not on my team. And it had his name, hashtag team, and his name on it. Oh my God, his face lit up. Oh my God, I just can't believe— oh, okay. Now gave him another shot, right? But I end up walking away again. And it's because of the same reason I walked away the first time, right? So he was like, April, but you know, this and that. I said, mm-mm. I said, we're not looking for the same thing. I said, it was fun getting to know you. We've had a great time in this last couple months, you know, and we're just not looking for the same thing because you got a lot on your plate, this and that and the third, blah blah blah blah blah. And I said, I can tell by the type of women that you're used to dealing with, the way you operate, has— they allow this. And for me, you know, it just, it just doesn't work for, you know, for me. He said, well, you're the oldest woman I dated. Well, we're about the same age. I'm 43. So he's dated younger women. I said, yeah, a lot of those women, they don't— they don't, uh, they don't require anything. I know, yeah, folk were rooting for him, but, um, they don't require anything. Miss Mason knows where she is in her life and knows exactly what, um, she needs. So it's not that you're a bad man, not— you're, you're an amazing guy. Some of the things that I liked about you, uh, you know, how you are, are the things that I liked about you. We're just not looking for the same thing. And so as I sit back and reflect just on that situation, you know, it was a couple others that I, I did that too. And then, you know, I kind of felt some sort of way because I kept hearing the, you just cut people off, you just cut people off. And so our last conversation was about one of our last conversations was about how I do what I do. And he says— I said, well, you know what, what's funny is when I cut you off the first time, you went and told your friends, you know, that's why she's single, this, that, and the third, and she just be cutting people off. And you talk major ish about me, right? I said, but guess what, sweetie? He said, I apologize for that. I said, yeah, let me tell you something now. You talk ish about me and said that's why I'm single, but you weren't ready for anything. So did you tell your friends? The reason why she cut me off is because my follow-through did not— my words did not, uh, equate to my follow-through. So, and he said, and he got quiet, and he said, so you— I said, so you wonder at this stage why I'm single? I said, because men like you will approach, but you really didn't want anything. But you get upset because I cut you off early on. The problem was you didn't get to hit it. So I cut you off before that happened. So you got in your ego. Your ego was feeling some sort of way. I didn't date this woman for a few months now and I ain't hit it, okay? But you didn't do anything to work up on the hitting it. So that's what this is. I said, so it's not that I'm single because I, I operate like this. No. I'm single because you didn't want anything, and I identified early on that you didn't want anything. I looked within myself and said, April, you do have— you've been accused of, you know, cutting people off, so I gave you a second shot. But what happened was, as I reflect tonight, I have to trust myself more in 2019 because I I gave him a second shot, right? But I was right from the start. Okay, so my number one thing for 2019 is to trust myself more. And so I'm gonna do that, not just in that area, you know, in the dating or relationship area, but in everything. Because you, you can't do as much spiritual work as I do and, and honing in on femininity as I do and not be able to trust yourself. So when you— when I get the download, okay, April, he ain't, uh, let him go and be okay with that. Now you can only do this when you're actively working on your spirituality, and I'm not talking about church. A lot of y'all going to church um, and, and y'all, y'all not spiritual. There's a difference between spirituality and going to church. Two totally different things. But because I've been accused of cutting people off so strong, I gave it a second shot because honestly I wanted to see within myself, you know, April, others do say you do that, but this was validation. That was one situation that was validation for me that you— what you got, the downloads you got was right on point. And everything you said, he admitted to it later on. But I said, the only— I said, sweetheart, the only problem in this that you're having with me is not that I cut you off, is that you hit it— you didn't get to hit it before I cut you off. That's the only problem. Now, if I were to cut you off and I gave you some, you wouldn't be checking for me like this. But because you never got the booty That's why it's a problem. So that, that's the only reason, you know, why that is. So my number one thing is I'll trust myself more because of the downloads, that the spiritual downloads that I'm getting are not April talking, it's the Creator letting me know what actually is, you know. It's that feminine energy guiding me. Okay, so that's number one. Number two, I'm going to do some decluttering. Now my kids laugh and say, Ma, you be collecting paper. I do collect paper. Like, I keep— I'm a sentimental person, so I keep little things and little trinkets around. So I'm going to do some decluttering, um, and I have a lot of clothes and stuff that I'm gonna give away. So I'm gonna declutter. My cousin, when she comes by She actually— I actually pay her to come and redo my closet and stuff because I messed it up, and, uh, to color coordinate stuff. And she goes, April, you got stuff in here that have, um, tags on it. So I'm going to give some stuff away once I get, um, get home. Number 3 is I'm going to pamper myself more. If you are in my Teach Me How to Date VIP Academy or my Asset Elevation, um, VIP Academy— and actually, Asset Elevation enrollment closes for that tonight at 11:59 You will not be able to join until we reopen back up. And you can go to assetelevation.com. It's only $37 a month. And our first masterclass is this Thursday called Asset Mindset Reset. So we gonna get right into it in 2019. But pampering your— I told them in the groups, pampering yourself more. I'm not talking about going to get your hair done. I'm not talking about going to get your nails done. That's maintenance. That's not pampering. So I decided that to pick out some things that are things that will pamper me more. It's all about me taking 100% care of me. The next one is spending more time with nature. I love— you guys know I love being outside, although I live in the city. I live in Atlanta. For all of those that are new to me, hey, I live in Atlanta, but I am from the San Francisco Bay Area. So I like being out with nature. So that's something that I want to do more of. I get a lot of insight when I'm with nature. I don't know what it is, but the Lord Creator be giving me some nuggets when I'm out. And I just like getting up. And I remember being a little girl, and although my family is from McComb, Mississippi, and they migrated to California after the war, my grandparents used to get up every morning. And I smelled the coffee in my sleep, and my grandfather would go on the back porch and look at his garden. And he would, you know, have his coffee. And if I spent the night, he'd say, hey, Miss Anne, I know your grandmama don't want you with no coffee, but it's a little coffee down there if you want to have some. So that's embedded in me, you know? So I used to wonder, why is it that I like country living and city living? And it's because my folks are from Mississippi. But when they migrated to Berkeley, California, my grandfather had a huge garden in the back in the middle of the city. So that's where that duality comes from with me. I used to live in the Buckhead area in Atlanta, honey. I had to get out of that. I don't need that, that, that, that urban living. I'm good with that. So I want to spend more time with nature. The next one is being more disciplined and staying on track. Now, those that know me know that my mind goes a mile a minute and I get amazing ideas and things like, like this. I made a decision to be more disciplined and staying on track, and I've been doing good these last couple months because I've been intentional about it. And so when I say I've been intentional, I have two phones, so I program my phone and I'll say, from this time to this time, I'm going to only work on this project, and I'm not going to do anything until this project is done. From this time into this time, I'm going to handle all of this and I'm gonna do my research. Don't do anything else. So anytime I find myself drifting, I'll— okay, hey, don't— get back, get back on track. Okay, next thing I'm gonna do is make new friends who are better, who are a benefit to me and I to them. I'm one of those people, and this is not toot my own horn, but I walk in my, my greatness. I'm one of those people that I'm a benefit to have around because I know a lot of stuff, especially when it comes to business. And I know how to make things happen. I know how to make money. Uh, I know how to help people with their self-development. So I'm a pretty cool woman to have around, right? But what happens is I would— I had attracted some people in my life that I was more of a benefit in the relationship, even the friendship, to them than they were to me. So it became very draining, and I'm such a giver And because people always ask, how is it that you, you know, you always seem to be blessed? You know, even when I was struggling, I was still blessed. And I said, because I'm a big giver, I have a big heart. That's why I come and share with you all, all of this free information. Um, and I just a big giver. So what happened is, what happened is I would attract people into my life, or I had attracted people prior into my life, prior to my transformation, that I was more of a benefit to to, you know. And when I looked at my life, you know, and their place in it, I'm like, April, you really didn't gain anything from them. So everybody in my phone now has a purpose for being there. I don't keep randoms in my phone. Any man that I've dated that we, you know, it didn't work out, or if it was a date, I delete them. I don't need just random people in my life. I'm a woman of purpose. If I am a friend to you, or if I'm in your life on any level, I'm a benefit to you, and you'll know it. I'm the person that you can call. I'm that loyal one to where you can call. I'm not loyal to a fault, but I am loyal, and I will be there for you. I need the same thing in my life. I like one of my closest friends, Jack Daniels. Y'all know Jack Daniels from, um, the reality show The Therapist on Black Love, and he's married to the beautiful Marshawn Evans from The Apprentice, and you've seen her on CNN. And make sure you get book called, uh, Believe Bigger. But Jack and I are like this, right? And anytime I need that talk, I hang out with people, uh, like that who are beneficial to me and I'm beneficial to them as well too, on the same level. Not I needed somebody to talk to and okay, I was able to talk to, but you couldn't help me with the problem. That's not beneficial to me. I get paid to communicate, so So I can't just accept basic responses, Miss— because Miss Mason is not basic. So I can't just accept, well, girl, you know, it's gonna be all right. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, Miss Mason doesn't, because I don't give that kind of advice. I'm gonna give you the type of advice that's gonna help get you on up out of there. I'm gonna give you the solution. I'm gonna give you the blueprint. Turn down this street. When you get to this street, make a left. When you get to the stop sign, make a right. I'm gonna give you step by step on how to get there. Those are the kind of people that I need in my life, and I, I have a lot of those people, but there were a few that I had to totally, uh, let go and make room in my life to meet new friends that I'm a benefit in their life and they are benefit to mine. The next one is investing in more conferences and knowledge to elevate my, uh, myself and my brand. Now I always do that anyway. I probably this year spent over 10 grand on self-development, uh, and brand development. So I'm good on that area, but I want to do even more is what I want to do. The next one is— this one is big for me, this one is big for me, y'all— learn— not learn, but delegate more. Now my daughter works for me now, and And I have an assistant. Here's the thing, when you started from the bottom like I did with being homeless, you know, living— I had to live in my car for a little while, you know, dealing with being a single parent and struggling, EBT cards, on welfare, that whole thing. When you build something, you, you end up marrying it. And you don't let anybody have a piece of it because you don't think— you don't want anybody to take your stuff and you didn't work so hard and, and all of those things, right? So you don't delegate in the way that you should because nope, I want to hold on. But on the other end, you can't complain about being tired, you can't complain about, um, not having any help if you're not willing to delegate. So I had to learn how to start really delegating. And besides, I live like this now. Nobody can do what Miss Mason do the way that she does it because I'm a unique individual that God gave a specific gifting to and a specific audience that can hear from me. That's it. So I had to learn how to delegate. So I'm doing very, very good at delegating. But when you started from nowhere, honey, and you started your first business with $50 from a welfare check, homeless at a shelter, and then going to live on somebody's— sleep on somebody's living room floor And then the transitional house, when you've built something for yourself that is productive, that it's producing, and that it's your baby, it's very— it could be very challenging to allow someone to come in and help. But I'm doing that because I can't do it by myself. The next one is I'm going to play bigger, meaning no more playing small. No, no more playing small. No more playing small. No more playing small. The next level is something that you guys probably would not have expected from me, but I can't wait to show you because we've been working on it. And there's so many sides to who I am that I don't— I'm not in anybody's box, and nor will I be bound to a box. I'm not doing that. So I want to play bigger. I would— you know what I would love to have you guys and my daughter— we were practicing I would love to have my own radio show on XM or, you know, in Atlanta, morning show. She said, "Mom, how would you start off your show?" I said, "I don't know." But I said, "You know, I gotta keep my voice low 'cause, you know, I got the calluses on my voice, but my speech pathologist said if I talk low, I won't be irritated." I said, "I don't know, Adrienne." I said, "What if I do something like, um, Welcome to 104.7. This is April Mason, and you're waking up with the AM. She said, "Ooh, Mama, I like that." I said, "Yeah, I could do it." I said, "Or we could say, this is 104.7, you with April Mason, and this is Midnight Love." I could do that too. So I would love to have my own radio show. Not blog talk, not— I mean like radio radio, like Steve Harvey radio, like Rickey Smiley radio, like Tom Joyner radio. I said, I think that I could actually do this, and I think I would bring a different perspective to the radio game. Okay, I'd love to do it. So, um, with that, I was telling my daughter that, and I said I want to do some, some, some total, some different things. I love, um, you know, what I do here, talking relationships and talking love and empowering, but I would love that. I said, you know what, they say Steve Harvey going off television April Mason would love to have the April Mason Show at 3 o'clock in the afternoon. I think you guys will tune in and watch, especially, you know, I don't think there's any chocolate sisters, you know, in that slot. I would love to do that. Radio, television, why not? And the funny thing is, you know, I did not want to do any of that because, I mean, and I think I've shared this before, I didn't want to do any of those things for a long time because I didn't want to be famous. Still don't. Here's why. I like my privacy, you know. Even being here in Atlanta and I go places and it's like, oh my God, Miss April, I love you. So I even get it now on social media, just for one of my work on social media. Um, I do that. And so with that, I said, you know what, do you want everything that comes with that. And I was like, no, no, I don't know if I want— I want to do that now. Bring it, bring it. I can leave some legacy for my grandbabies, honey. You know, I would love to do— somebody said do late night radio. Yes, I think I could really do some late night radio and talk that talk, talk that talk. How you doing? What y'all doing? It's not on this rainy night right before we get into some Secret Garden. Y'all ready for some Secret Garden? Stay tuned, we'll be right back after these sponsors. I can do it. So I would love, I would love, love, love to do that. And so, but it was— I didn't want all of the other stuff associated. Um, um, Miss Wade, that's the next thing. I am starting a podcast, so though you got— let you guys know, I will be starting a podcast soon. Actually, My assistant and my daughter are working on the topics that, uh, I will start to record. So I do have a podcast coming, and of course, you know, it'll be about love and things and everything that come with it. So I'm excited about that. But that was my reason for not wanting to, to play bigger, is because I did not want to be famous. And you know, while other people are, are trying to be famous, I just didn't want to because I don't want nobody in my business. I didn't want, you know, I don't like being recognized every time I leave the house. And even now here in Atlanta, I can be in the grocery store, Miss April, girl. Oh, God forbid I wear my Asset nutritional facts shirt, honey. Oh, I saw that. I saw. So I don't always like that. I don't like people knowing who I am and I don't know who they are, you know. So for me, that's been my playing small for so long. And so this year I said, you know what, Mace, the very thing that you don't want to do is the very thing that you're called to. And the very— the things that you want to manifest in your life may be on the other side of you doing this. So, so radio person— personnel is not famous where they can't live a normal life for the most part. Um, yes and no, but everybody isn't April Mason either, and everybody Some folks got a face for radio. Miss Mason doesn't have the face for radio, darling. And when someone ever— if you ever hear somebody tell you you got a face for radio, that's not a compliment. So for me, I already know that there's been big things and I've suppressed them for a very long time. I've walked away from major opportunities to do film, to do television. I've done some type of television, um, sometimes certain types, but I would always run away from television and radio and all of those things, all because I didn't want to be famous. Because I know if I do it, she's going to do it. And a lot of things that I know how to do behind the scenes because of my, um, entrepreneurial background that a lot of people in radio and television don't know, it'll be a little different for me because I have quite a few celebrity, not only dating coaches, but people that I coach for dating, but also, um, on the business aspect and how to multiply their income. So there are certain things that I know how to do that they may not know, they don't know how to do, which is probably why they're not where they actually need to be. So, um, it, it all, it all plays together. But that's my reason, y'all. I didn't want to be famous, so I changed that and said I would like to continue to be an influencer and live out my purpose as well too, if that involves being on television and radio. Fame, I'm not really looking for that though. The next one is take up ballroom dancing. Oh, I'm taking up ballroom dancing, you guys. And actually, I signed up for a kizomba, kizombo class. It's that sexy, that sexy kind of, you know, I don't know if it's from Nigeria or it's from somewhere, Latin something, and it's that sexy, real up-close dancing. So I took up those classes, those start next week, and I'm gonna add ballroom dancing to my to-do list, my do things different list in 2019. So get ready, Dancing with the Stars. And here's a little known fact, I don't have a lot of rhythm, y'all. I'm one of those that have to do 1, 2, 3, and step. So the kids was like, "Ma, you go like this." I was going, so I said, so it's, oh, oh, uh, it's like, I said, you gotta, you gotta show me how to do it. So I don't have a lot of rhythm, y'all. So I got the conzombo, conzombo class coming because when I saw the women doing it, there's a video and it's like a, a group of women, Latin women, and they were doing, doing this dance. They all had on jeans and these black shirts and they was doing all of this and their hips were swaying. And then it was just like they were flowing. So I really, um, want to get more into that because it also helps you in your femininity, ladies. So if you're, if you're not in either one of my groups, um, you probably wouldn't know, but I go more in depth on sensuality and sexuality, uh, and how it is the allure and what it attracts and, and how sexuality, how sensuality, femininity, and spirituality are all connected. Okay, so that's what I'm gonna do. Ballroom dancing. The next one is spend more time socializing outside of social media. I do go out, but I'm going to limit my social media time. What we're doing is now, uh, I'll come live a little bit more because I didn't do— I stopped going live as much, um, but I will start coming live more often in on this page And of course, we'll be in our Teach Me How to Date and our Asset Elevation VIP. But other than that, you probably won't see me online too much. We will program things, you know, put some stuff on automated— automatic— automated to post on my page to make sure that it keeps active. But I want to do more socializing, um, with people, um, going out more, not working always at home. I'm going to go out I made a pact with myself that I'm going to go work from different places 4 days out of the week because I gave up my office about a couple years ago. I gave up my office, so I work from home. I can get very lazy when I'm working from home because I'm not out socializing and meeting people, so I don't have to get dressed, honey, and none of that. A lot of times when I come live to y'all and I'm all cute, y'all, I have on some house shoes and my pajama pants. So I have a great— I love what I do. I do, I do. But I noticed that I didn't— wasn't meeting as many new people and making new connections. And I'm interested in making some new female friends, so I gotta be out. I gotta get out. So for a minimum of 4 days a week, I will be working from somewhere and also out socializing. Um, number 12 is I'm going to walk in all my potential and greatness without holding back or making apologies. No apologies required. Bridget said, why don't you do a meeting with women that want to meet you? We do that in our VIP Academy. We actually— we're going to Vegas. We actually did our meet and greet with the women that are in our Teach Me How to Date VIP Academy. They flew in from all over the place. We had a party bus. We went, we went, we went dancing, we went to dinner. So I do do that. Our next outing is in Vegas. But the thing is, you have to be a part of our Teach Me How to Date VIP Academy or the Asset Elevation VIP Academy for that to happen. So we do have that. So we are going to go to, um, to Vegas. So we have probably about maybe 50 to 100 ladies that may show up, um, for this event. So I do events, um, I did an event in July and women, over 200 women showed up, came, we had a great time. So I do do those, but you have to invest in yourself. I don't, I no longer just make myself available to any— I mean, to everybody. Me giving my free information here is one thing, but when you start talking about getting up close and personal, um, there's an investment required to that. Because what I give away so much stuff, and I realize people that don't make investments in themselves, they really don't want the help. So I get a lot of people inboxing me, asking me my advice, but we have an autoresponder message that said if you need advice download the app and call Miss Mason or join the Academy. They don't do that. So to me, people who aren't willing to invest in themselves, even if it's out in the Asset Academy at $37 a month or the Teach Me How to Date at $67 a month, their issue isn't that serious for them. I only deal with women who are willing to invest in themselves, period. Because I do it, I do it, I do it. And so, but so Yes, we do have events coming up. We do events every quarter, so we're doing that one. And it looks like we have our travel agent working on our Essence trip, you know, so we got all of that going. But I do have meet and greets with the ladies that are involved in my memberships. Um, and my last one is get more tattoos on my passport. I want to do more traveling this year. I joined a travel club because I didn't always want to travel by myself. So I want to get some more tattoos on my passport. I want to go somewhere. I want to go to Australia. I'm definitely trying to get to Johannesburg. The only issue that I have with going to all of these places, there's only one issue, just one. I hate long flights. Like when I fly home to California, I hate the flight, and I don't sleep well on, um, flights. So when I get on a flight, I normally have to take 2 Tylenol PM right when we're getting ready to board if I want to sleep at least 2 hours. I'm a very, very light sleeper, so I don't sleep well even on a plane. And a 20-hour flight, it— the thought of it, it just makes me itch, you know. I get a little you know, 20 hours, and I get real fidgety. So I would have to figure out how I could, um, do this and be okay with 20 hours going and 20 hours coming back. So yeah, that's my only issue. But I want to go, I can go, but I— that's my only problem, you know. And I would need me, you know, make sure of course you, you fly on the planes with the beds and you know, all that good stuff. But even with that, I just don't do well on long flights. I get fidgety on a 4.5-hour California flight. So it's only so many movies you can watch because I'm not a movie buff. Like, oh y'all, the last movie I made— I went to go see was Wakanda. Y'all, I need to know what a good movie is. Just says fly private. Even if you fly private, it doesn't mean— it doesn't mean it's going to take away the time to get there. So that the issue is not flying private or commercial, the issue is the length of the flight. Okay, Andre, I like that. So you got to work your way up the flight hours. So how would you recommend I do that? Because that's my problem. I wanted to just pick up and go so many places this year, but I'm like, oh, why is it 15 hours? You know, what am I gonna do? And I had back surgery 11 years ago, so sitting up and all that for that long amount of time. And y'all, let me tell you what my daughter did. She didn't know, bless her heart. We went to California in October, honey. My daughter was all excited. Mama, I got the flights! I got us the flights, Mom! We going to California! Got us the flight, it was only $172. I got— she only 24, bless her heart. We flew on Frontier And I could not lean my seat back because she didn't know you had to pay for a seat that would recline. So me and my back surgery, my back issues that I had back 11 years ago, I'm sitting straight up for 4 hours and 50 minutes. Honey, I will never fly them again. I just can't. That's just not my thing. So that was a lesson learned. She's like, ma, I'll never do that again. I said, please, ma'am. I said, you young. You got young back. You can fly. I would recommend them if you got to find a cheap flight and you going from Atlanta to Florida real quick. But we went from Atlanta to California on Frontier, honey. Mm-mm. No, Delta, please. Yeah. I'd even do Southwest. But Frontier? Mm-mm. Spirit is of the devil. Mm-hmm. So those are all of my things that I'm going to do differently in 2019. Also, make sure if you are— have been contemplating on joining the Asset Elevation VIP Academy, it closes at 11:59 tonight. You will— there will probably be a page that says sorry, you can join our waiting list. But if you have been contemplating joining, Make sure you do it before 11:59 tonight because my team has already has it set up to where the page will switch out into the sorry, you know, we are no longer taking enrollment. And the investment is only $37 a month. And if you want to join the Teach Me How to Date VIP Academy, you can add that on as an upgrade and you get group coaching and lessons and events, meet and greets, all of those things for less than $100 a month, getting your finances in order. Asset Elevation is all about elevating into an asset woman, meaning we're going to be dealing with the mental, the emotional, the spiritual, the financial, the femininity. That's what we're dealing with over there. And Teach Me How to Date VIP Academy is all about dating and becoming an asset, the asset woman that asset men adore. That's what we're all about over there. So you can actually get in both groups. We have quite a few women in both groups, and it's group coaching on both sides. I go live often. We do master classes every month. Uh, we're getting ready to start the hot seat to where you get to come on live with me, um, and we can deal with your issue, you know. So it's gonna be— it's hot. We have a good time. I'm sure we have a lot of VIPers on this broadcast right now. They will tell you we keep it raw, real, and relevant. And in the Teach Me How to Date VIP Academy, I do things that probably most dating coaches will not or will never do. I lead by example, and my ladies over there, they know that, and I appreciate them so much. And I also appreciate you for supporting me for all of these years. I really appreciate, appreciate you because my job is to serve. I am placed on this earth to be of service, and the fact that you take time out of your day to listen to what little old Miss Mason from Richmond, California has to say I appreciate you. I wish you the best. But remember, if you want your life to change in 2019, you have to put new information in. So you can go to church tonight, you can go party tonight, but like I told the ladies in the— we have 7,000 women in the I'm an Asset Women's Network. I told them tonight, I said, look, after the ball drops, after the confetti falls, after the balloons are released, after you say, won't he do it? What will your life be at 12 midnight when you're going into the new year? If you have not put any information in, you cannot get any— put— get any different results. I'm sorry, Clarence, the Acid Academy is only for men, but if you go look up JoJo— Joe, my friend JoJo has, um, uh, the male clinic. He does what I do for me, for women, he does it for men. So he has a free Facebook group, just put in Male Clinic and he will show up. So you can join, you can make sure you join over there. But as I was saying, if you're not putting in new information, don't expect a different outcome in 2019. It's been too many years you've said, this gonna be my year. It's been too many years that you said, this is my season and this is my time. But the only thing that's keeping you from really making it your season and your time, like I told the ladies tonight, it's two things. Number one is your belief system, your belief system. And number two is the lack of new information. You cannot change your life with the same information that you have because it has not been working for you, as well as you have to know how to correctly implement it. And that starts with the mind. On Thursday, I'll be teaching the Asset Reset Asset Mindset Reset at 7 PM in the Asset Elevation VIP Academy, and I'm going to go real deep. If you have my manifestation course, this is going to be Manifest 2.0, okay? But we're dealing— we're starting in the mind, okay? Um, she said, my— if this is my year, it will all fall in place. Nothing will fall in place. Let me correct— don't, don't say fall in place. This is what you say: 2019 is my year to create whatever it is that I desire in my life. Because you are the creator. You create twice. You create out of your mind and then you create in the physical. So nothing— we don't want anything to just flow. We don't want anything to just fall in place. We want everything to be deliberate and intentional. Everything in your life. If you want a relationship, get intentional about it. If you want to make more money, get deliberate and intentional about it. If you want to lose weight, get intentional about it. If you want to, um, uh, rebuild your self-esteem, get intentional about it. You have to be so intentional about what you want in your life. It's like the way you pick up your phone, you know, it's like you don't even think, you just pick it up. The way you breathe, you don't think, you just breathe. That's how changing your life should be. You should be so adamant about it to where it becomes second nature to you, to where it's the first thing on your mind when you wake up and it's the last thing on your mind when you go to bed. You gotta want change more than the pain of where you are. If those of you that say, Ms. April, I want to love again, I want to start dating again, but I'm scared— your desire to be in a successful, meaningful relationship has to outweigh where you've come from. Okay, Coco, said, I just signed up for the Asset Elevation VIP Academy. Excited. Good, get excited, girl. Make sure you have your piece of your pen and paper, honey. Your pen and paper for Thursday at 7 PM Eastern Standard Time. You welcome, Miss Wright. I wasn't trying to check you, I was just trying to change your words. Nothing is going to fall in place. We've been programmed to, won't he do it, and if God— what God has for me is for me. Let me, let me help you real quick. What God has for you is for you, darling. But if you're not wise enough or in tuned enough to recognize it and pick it up. He's not going to waste his best on someone that cannot identify what he's put in front of them. So we've been used to these clichés, we've been used to just saying stuff, and we use, we use, we use that as an excuse. Um, you know, you know, you got to follow God. A lot of y'all couldn't hear from the Lord if he was standing in front of you. Because you're not spiritually in tune, you're church in tune. Two totally different things. And my thing is, don't quote anything, especially passages of scripture, if you are, you know, a churchgoer and you don't know how to make that manifest in your life. You, you're not— you don't have no power, you know. You can— I can, I can pick up, you know, the phone book and quote something up out of there and bring it to life because I understand how to manifest it. And if you picking up your Bible and you saying things and you don't know how to bring it to life and manifest it, you're just wasting your time. Or you're fooling yourself to believe that you have more spirituality or power than you do, and you actually don't. Your life— now put it like this, I'm not here to call you out, I'm gonna let you call yourself out. Look at the results of your life and ask yourself, do they match what you say you believe? Now You might say, well, you know, Miss April, sometimes you got to struggle a little bit. No, you've been taught that you have to struggle. Okay, you don't have to struggle. It's not required. You just have to make a choice. Change is just a choice away. Oh, y'all remember? Yes, my, my word for last year was intentional. I got to see what my word for this year is going to be, is going to be. But y'all remember, thank you so much for remembering. But as I was saying, all of that clichés and crap y'all be talking about, it doesn't work. The only thing in life, to be honest with you, that work is choice. Whatever you choose, where you— especially where you are right now is because that's where you chose to be. Regardless of your circumstances, regardless of whatever else, you chose to be there. Everything in life is a choice. I chose not to drink the champagne that they gave me. Now, do I want to have it? Yep. But I know that my, um, my fitness regimen says I can't have it. That's a choice. But I chose the water the little lady came and left by the bed. But, and I refused to go buy that, uh, $11 bottle of water over there, so she left me a water. She left me a bottle of water. So everything is about choice, choice, choice, choice. You have a choice. Nothing is required. Well, Miss April, you know, my job— your job is a choice. You're not making enough money, that's because you chose to work there. You chose to not value yourself enough. You chose to not get paid for the results that you get. You can never get paid what you're worth because, darling, you're priceless. But you can get paid for the results that you get. If you're still struggling, and that's what we're going to be talking about on Thursday, is because of how you view yourself. Asset women, we don't struggle. No, we don't. We don't struggle, and we don't live paycheck to paycheck either. Didn't mean we didn't start out that way, but when we start understanding better, we understood our state, our ability to create, we start making different changes. Wait a minute, you mean I don't have to just take what they give me on this job? Wait a minute, You mean that I'm in my business, I can charge for the result that I, I get people? I don't have to feel like, you know, I'm charging too much, and, and I don't have to— no, no, no, no. I'm— you okay with walking in your greatness and what you deliver? The only reason why you're broke is because of the choices that you make. The only reason why you're not dating is because of choices that you're making. That's it. People say, well, Miss April, but you ain't married, how you teach dating? And I said, because I date. I don't teach marriage, I teach dating. And a lot of times what happens is you'll say what you want, but you're not doing anything to actively act in it. So I actively date. You have to actively date, but you actively date with new information. So the ladies over in Teach Me How to Date VIP Academy, they're getting a whole different caliber of men now that they've learned how to properly date. Why? Because it was a choice that they made. They got tired of being by themselves. They got tired of the caliber of men that they were attracting. Now my women understand that they are the choosers. They don't go around talking about who gonna, who gonna choose me. They understand their self-esteem has been raised and they have a whole different perspective on dating and they're seeing the results in their life. We have another one that just got engaged. We had two get engaged this year. One got married. We have women that are dating and they're not in a rush to get married anymore. Why? Because the choices that they're making are different. Why? Because they're now equipped with new information. People always say, "Well, you ain't married, what you ain't married—" No, it's not about getting married. It's about understanding that you don't have to rush to get married because you have options. And when you're a woman of wisdom, you choose the best suitor. You don't just choose just because you have options. And a lot of you ladies are trying to get to the altar versus understanding the art of dating and enjoying yourself. So all of this that you're dealing with right now in your life, from dating to money to, to, uh, your weight and all everything in between, your career, it's all based upon choices. And all you need to do is choose to get new information and learn how to properly apply it And I promise you, you'll see something totally different. The filters on your eyes will be changed. And so my ladies in the VIP Academy Teach Me How to Date, some of them came in real anxious. I just want to get married. I just want to— this ain't the right place for you if you just want to get married. I'm getting ready to show you a world that you've never been introduced to. And it's like, oh, I didn't know this was available. I've never dated this caliber of man. I've never had men approach me like that. I didn't know my feminine energy did that. I didn't know I was— that was available to me. Shoot, I don't— I'm not trying to rush to get married. I'm trying to make— enjoy myself and see who's the best suitor for me and who I'm gonna choose. That's the difference in the shifting of the mindset. Oh, my money ain't right. Well, wait a minute, Miss April just showed me how to create. And I'll be teaching that on, on, um, there's one class that I'll be teaching in the master— in the Asset Elevation called How to Become a High Six Plus Figure, uh, Woman in Less Than 12 Months. I'm gonna show you how to do it because it's not hard, but it starts in the mindset, which I have to start there. So the reason why we're closing the Asset Elevation on, um, on the, uh 11:59 tonight is because I'm taking the ladies through a process. So the first process that we're gonna tackle, the mind. So we're tackling the mind the whole month of January, the mind and how you view yourself, the whole self-love thing. We tackling that because no matter what I share with you on how to make money, on how to build your self-esteem and your confidence, if I can't help you change this first and focus on that Nothing that I tell you gonna work for you. You're gonna say, I didn't gave this lady my money and it don't work. No, no, we got to get you understanding better, okay? Could you wear your hair naturally? What do you mean naturally? Because I have a relaxer. And also, y'all, also stop saying— stop sending me in my inbox asking me what number this is on my hair. This is not a hairpiece, this is my hair, okay? I don't wear wigs, nor do I wear weave. Not knocking anybody that do, I just don't because I can't, I can't do this. I tried it and that's just a— that just ain't me, okay? Um, the website is assetelevation.com. I'll make sure I post the link. Um, let me see if I can post it right now. So yeah, that's, that's not my thing, you know. I like my hair the way it is. It's mine and I know how to comb it and I'm all good with that. So to answer whoever that person was, Uh, it starts with being natural. Well, you wear yours natural, Miss, uh, Elohim, and that's that. I like what I got on my head, just like you like what you got. And everybody else that wear what they wear, they like what they got. Just for the ladies that keep inboxing me asking me what my hairpiece is— is it— I had somebody say, is that a 37-piece? I'm like, is this chicken? Like, what, we ordering boxes of chicken now? What is a 37-piece? No, this, this This is not a piece. And lady, my stylist said— I asked her what a 37-piece was. She said, April, in order to get the hairstyle that you have, there is a weave that's 37 pieces. It takes 37 pieces to get that. I'm like, oh, okay, girl. No, I couldn't have put 20, 37 tracks in my head. You crazy. I'll be itching up. I can't do that. I can't, I can't, I can't, I can't do that, honey. I did think about going natural though, I'm not gonna lie. But the problem is I don't want to have to cut all my hair off, um, and I already have a short haircut, and I don't want to go through the process of it growing out now. And I don't— because I don't wear braids and I'm not going to do a protective style and all of that, um, that stuff. I don't want to do that. I don't want to go through that. I probably will end up going back natural but just not right now. Not, not right now. To the person that asked, because I thought about it and I was like, oh yeah, um, how do you go natural without protective styles, without braids? Um, and why you letting a short haircut grow out? I don't know that yet. So we, we, yeah, we gonna work with what she got. But to those of you keep asking me that and asking me what number my eyelashes are, they 1975. Go look that up. Now let me stop being a smart butt. 1975 is the year I was born, so meaning I don't have— these ain't fake eyelashes. Yeah, Deborah, see, we got the same problem, girl. We got short hair trying to go natural, and it's like, how do you do that when you don't want to wear protective styles and you don't want to wear your hair braided? How do you, how do you do that? If somebody master that and make sure I'm still cute, um you know, then maybe, you know, we could do that. But until somebody show me how to do it without protective, 'cause every YouTube video I watch, it was, well, you can, when you can go with protective style. I'm not putting no weave in my hair 'cause it's too much for me. Only time I've worn weave in the last 2 years is when I was filming a television show and they just put a couple pieces in the front of my short haircut to make it just look a little bit fuller, you know? And that's it. So that— I can't. So until somebody come up with that, how do you transition to natural with a short haircut without, without a weave? Honey, we know about the drinking alkaline water and all that, and the castor oil, eat healthy, make your hair grow. We're not talking about that roster right now. We talking about how do you transition and look cute while you doing that. That's the problem. So I'll post the link. I'm trying to get the link right now for you ladies. Um, and like I said, the VIP Academy, it closes at 11:59 tonight, and we will— we only open up a couple times a year because I want to make sure that the ladies are on track. And I— please understand, if you are new, I'm probably gonna get on your nerves. So if you join, just understand that. You know, it just— understand, just understand that because I do hold you accountable, and I have to hold— I have to hold you accountable because that's my job. Okay, let's see, can I post the link? Okay, I posted the link. Let's see, uh, can I pin the link? Let's see. Okay, I posted it. Let's see if I can pin it. Yes, I can pin it. There you go, I just pinned it right there. So I love you all. Have a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful New Year's Eve. And also remember my question to you: after the ball has dropped, after the church has said, "Won't he do it? The Lord done allowed you to see a new year," after the confetti is on the floor and has finished falling, after the fireworks are no longer in the sky, will your life be any different? And if not, what are you really willing to do at 12 midnight to change that? If not, your 2019 will be no different than your 2005. Your 2011, and your 2018. The choice is yours. Love y'all. Have a good night. Bye.
