We met at the high school in a dark— I crept up on him. I was like, where my package at? Give me my package. So, oh, you okay now? I didn't want a life where I had to take on a bunch of clients. I only take on 10 clients a year. And I didn't want to do that. So I had to make a decision, and I'm gonna show you how I did that to where I can do and go wherever I want to go and do. As y'all see, I'm on one iPhone, I got another one right here, and I have two iPads and two, two, um, two, uh, laptops, and I operate my businesses 100% from these right here. I'm gonna also talk about creating the life you want when it comes to dating, you know. But I'm not trying to get you married, but I'm trying to get you out of the house, get you to where you even believe that quality men actually exist. I'm trying to get you to understand that whatever it is that you want in your life, the only person keeping you from having it at this point, um, is you. A lot of them, they focus on money, the entrepreneurship side. I could teach you how to make money all day, but, but if you don't know how to tap into your femininity, into that creativity, creative side of you, honey, you're just gonna be sitting there with a whole lot of money, sad and unhappy. And so I have him today And then earlier, um, I mean, uh, I think tomorrow or Wednesday before I head out of town, I'll have, um, my, my granddaughter and my— and I have a bonus grandbaby. Um, my, my daughter is marrying her father, so, um, I'll have both of them, a 3-year-old and a 5-year-old. Pray for me because they something else. They something else. I may take them to Six Flags to go see the Christmas lights. I gotta find— no, yeah, you know what, I'll take them— what, what's the place? It's a place where they jump around on trampolines and wear them clean out. That's what I think I'll do, um, with them. But like I said before, the reason why I'm able to do these type of things in the middle of the week, in the middle of the day, is because I created the life that I actually love. I didn't like my life before because I was doing things that I should not have been doing. Not anything bad, but it was, it was— sometimes you can take on more than you should. And I had to, you know, figure out what works, what didn't work. But The number one thing I had to figure out was how do you want your life to look? So that meant, April, no more 40-hour work weeks with consulting clients. I don't want my life to look like that. So no more of those. So I had to figure it out, and I'm going to show you tomorrow exactly how I did that. Okay, so love you guys. Let me go put my baby in he car seat. My baby in he car seat. So I wonder if my grandfather's spirit done came back in the baby. Mm, because he looks just like him, and he's just a— he's a pleasant, laid-back kind of baby, just like my grandfather. We are no longer carrying AARP cards, okay? I'm an empty nester at 42, so I'm creating something special for us because you guys have asked, okay, April, now what do I do with my life? And I'm gonna show you some things and help you um, and help you make that shift. Because people forget about us. They have the married, the single, empty nesters. But the empty nesters that they show are like in their late, uh, 50s, early 60s, and 70 years old. That's not us. We are the new empty nesters, baby. So I have something coming, um, for us because nobody really deals about— deals with us on the level that I need. Every time I look for something for empty nesters that I need, it's not available. So What do you do about it? You created yourself. So I have something coming for you guys, uh, us empty nesters in 2018. And I think this is going to be one of my fun, fun, um, fun, fun projects. You see, Teresa says yes. If you have a— if you have kids in the 10th grade or above, you're gonna want to be a part of the empty nesters because I had a— it took me a minute to really take a hold of what was really going on. You know, I'm just saying. Audrey says, what do I do with my life? I don't know, because I don't know you like that, girl. But what I can do is show you tomorrow at 10 AM of how to create the life you want and get your wheels turning, you know, get your wheels turning. So make sure you join the group.
