Here is why independent people will ALWAYS be alone!

Independence framed as needing nothing blocks healthy relationships, the creator argues. She distinguishes self-sufficiency from the isolation that comes from rejecting interdependence, and warns that repeating "I'm independent" or "I'm broken" manifests those realities. Language shapes outcomes, she says, so affirmations like "I am and I have" matter.

Good morning and afternoon. It's afternoon where I am. Good morning to wherever you are and good afternoon. I wanted to stop in on my way out. I'm headed out to get some work done. It's my work day. Happy Monday if you're on your grind getting your things together. Um, keep it moving, keep it going, keep it going, keep it going. Make things happen. It's this new year. But I wanted to stop in on my way out really quick, um, to say first of all, thank you guys so much for the love that you've shown on my video I did Friday. It's been bananas. When I say bananas, it's been bananas. I think we got over 300 to 400 comments. I mean, excuse me, 300 to 400 messages inside my inbox. Haven't had a chance to go through all of them. Some of them I did. If I didn't get back to you, I'm so sorry. It's been a lot. And then all of the shares, I just want to say thank you guys so much. Well, I read a couple of the comments, and this is an addition to um, what I said on Friday, because I got a lot of independent, independent, independent, uh, stuff. You know, ain't nothing wrong being independent. Why a woman can't be about her business? You know, men like independent women. Okay, clutch your pearls because I have something to share with you, okay? Independent and submission does not go together, okay? Independent people What you're saying is, I don't need anything or anybody. So you wonder, fellas— let me start with you because I always start on the ladies. Let me start with you, fellas. Y'all say, I want an independent woman. I think Neo got a song called Miss Independent and all that, right? But then you get upset when you get a woman that doesn't need you. Well, you spoke her into existence, boo-boo. Independent people don't need anything or anybody, even to the point where If you're screaming, I'm independent, if Miss Right or Mr. Right comes into your life, you're supposed to automatically reject them because you keep saying I'm independent and I don't need anything or anybody. So you gotta watch what you saying. I think we just be talking off the side of our necks, not realizing what exactly it is that we're saying. Ladies, if you saying I'm independent and what's wrong, cause some of y'all kind of went in on my post, you know, I don't get offended easy, you know, so I kind of let you, you know, let y'all say what you needed to say. I already know when you put yourself out here on the social media or out there, period, people are not going to always agree with you, and that's fine. But at the same time, you got to understand all this independent— I, you know, what's wrong with me having my degree? I never said anything was wrong with having a degree. I'm educated, I'm smart, uh, I'm a business owner. I'm out here mailing out— we have another division of our company. I'm out here in the cold mailing out me time boxes today. So Trust me, I know what it's like and what it means to be a woman about her business. I was a single— I'm a single mom. I raised my kids, you know, they're— my last one is getting ready to be 18. So I understand about your grind, get your thing going, all that. But at the end of the day, we were never designed to do it by ourselves. So it doesn't matter what it is, it was never designed to be that way. So we can scream, I had to do this if the man did this. Stop placing freaking blame. At the end of the day, we, we cannot place blame. We chose to have babies with the jokers we chose to have babies with. We picked the dudes that we picked the dudes, women y'all picked, I mean dudes y'all picked, the women that y'all picked the women. Okay, it's done, it's over with. At this point in time, you have to decide instead of trying to, um, defend your position, look at it as from a standpoint of maybe I need to start making some changes right now. How about that? Because we can place blame. And to be honest with you, it all goes back to slavery. If we want to place blame, we go all the way back to slavery. That's why, as Black people, we're out of whack right now anyway. So yes, our men are out of the homes and they're not doing what they need to do, because back in slavery they took the man out the house and the woman had to step up, which meant it took a lot of her femininity away. So, you know, there's all kind of things that, that, uh, can be the cause of this, but it doesn't mean that it was supposed to be that way. So all of y'all screaming, you know, I don't agree with her because she said I'm supposed to be this and that and all of that. Well, I want to see her education receipts, sweetheart. I don't need a receipt to prove that I'm a woman, to be what I'm automatically supposed to be. My issue is we got all of these receipts for everything else, but we can't even cash in on what it means to be a woman or being feminine. If you ask the average woman what it means to be a woman, she can't even tell you. But she knows, you know, um, you know, all of the stuff that she learned in college, which is fine. I'm saying make sure that you put just as much energy into your womanhood and, um, your femininity, because those are the things that you'll have when all of that other stuff dissipate. So yes, you got all your student loans and all of your whatever you got, that's fine. Go get educated, girl. I'm all about that. But at the same time, when all of that leaves that should not make you who you are. And for most people, it make your things and your education, for, for whatever it is that you're lacking, it makes you who you are. Because if you— if it's stripped away from you, here's your homework. Ask yourself, if I didn't have any of this stuff, who am I? Who am I without anything? Who am I? Ask yourself that. So please stop screaming, I'm independent. Hey, Dr. Sonia, I talked to you at 2 o'clock, girl. That's Dr. Sonia. Let me give her a shout out. She's one of my clients. And she is a divorce coach. So if any of you going through a divorce in the middle, beginning, the end, she's the bomb.com. She know what she doing. So, you know, I give my folks a shout out like that, but I wanted to say that to you guys before I head out for the day, that you must stop speaking certain things. You're saying, I'm independent, I'm independent. And you keep wondering why you, um, you're, you're home alone. You know, you, you, you try to act like you, you know, this bad girl, you know what, if it happened, it happened. If it don't, it don't. But at the end of the day, you at home crying because it's not happening because you have your, instead of making adjustments, you would rather defend your position. And even though as women we have been put in that position to be strong and do the masculine thing, that's not how it was initially designed. So I don't care what you got to say about, about all of the other— what it's had to be, and I've had to do it by myself, I get it. I had to do it by myself too. But it doesn't mean it was designed to be that way. And also, um, while you're saying you're, you're independent, you're defeating the purpose. I mean, you're I mean, you're— it's like, it's like you're just talking out the side of your neck. It makes no sense when I hear people say that. And because if you look up the word independent, it means you don't need— you're independent of anything or anybody. So it doesn't matter if somebody comes into your life or not. It even— it could be business, it could be friendships, it could be relationship, doesn't matter. Independent people, what you're saying is you don't need anything or anybody. So don't get mad when you're not getting any results because What you say, what you speak, is what will happen. I'm very careful about my words because I had to remember, um, a particular time where my words, it's like they had so much life that they just came to life like immediately, and it was just amazing how it would happen. So I got real, um, cautious about, um, the things that I say and how I say them. So if you're screaming independent, I'm gonna tell you right now, stop it. Stop it right now, okay? Because if you want somebody in your life, you can't be independent. You can be self-sufficient, that's different. Self-sufficient is different. And fellas, this goes to y'all too. I'm— yeah, I want me an independent woman, I want me a woman. No, you don't. Because we all— if anything, if a woman is a real woman, she knows that y'all need to feel needed. I know y'all need to feel needed. So if you need to feel needed, you need to feel you need to feel loved, you need to, um, you know, feel honored and validated. Why would you want somebody that's independent? That means they ain't gonna give you none of that. I'm just saying. Anywho, I didn't want to hold y'all long because I know my last video was kind of long. You know, sister went in because I was having, you know, a moment, and I was all over the place because, you know, I was kind of pissed off. But, um, I wanted to share that with you on this afternoon. Stop saying uh, that you're independent. Stop saying you're broke. Stop saying, um, you're— oh, my attitude is bad. My— stop saying all of those things because you get more of what you say. You say, I am and I have. Say it with me, people. I am and I have. No more want. I don't— you don't want for nothing because if you keep saying I want this, you will never get it because you always stay in a position of want, okay? Love you guys. I didn't get to give my shots out. I'll be back to giving shots out. Um, uh, maybe we'll come back later this week. I think Tanya and I'll be on this week. So ladies, me and Tanya, if y'all saw our video from last week, we want to talk to y'all about a few things as well too, especially this menopause and this perimenopause. They didn't tell me nothing about these hot flashes. So I will see you guys later. Have an excellent day. And stop trying to say, um, you're independent because you really want to boo. So stop it. Bye.
