Ladies, let go of the disappointment

In this live‑style YouTube video, relationship coach April Mason addresses an audience of women, urging them to release disappointment with men and take personal responsibility for their dating outcomes. She argues that women have lowered their standards, leading men to treat them poorly, and stresses that true change comes from internal work—knowing one’s core self, raising self‑esteem, and embodying the "asset woman" mindset—rather than relying on external markers like looks, cars, or status. Using analogies (Walmart vs. Neiman Marcus) and personal anecdotes (her own breakup, her daughter’s marriage), she illustrates how self‑perception drives the quality of partners attracted. Throughout, she delivers tough‑love advice on setting boundaries, recognizing red flags, and avoiding the “pity party.” The second half of the video transitions into a promotional pitch for her Teach Me How to Date VIP Academy, outlining a 90‑day program priced at $10 per week (or $110 for three months), featuring weekly live classes, hot‑seat sessions, lessons on femininity, flirting, manifestation, and preparing children for dating. She emphasizes the limited‑time introductory rate, the “power of the 3 Ps,” and invites both single and married women to join the community for ongoing support.

Well, happy Friday, darling! How y'all doing? Where y'all be? I know some of y'all at work and everything like that, getting your hair did, your nails did for the weekend. I give y'all a second to come on in here, let Facebook give you the notifications. I, um, I'm listening to— well, I was listening to Fantasia's new Christmas album. If you don't have it, Please go get it. I'm on this Christmas, um, spirit right now. I'm in my— the Christmas spirit. So, um, I'm listening to my Voice to Men, um, Voice to Men Christmas. But yes, that new Fantasia, uh, Christmas is hot. Go get it. Make sure you support her. I'm loving that one she has, that Baby It's Cold Outside with her and CeeLo Green. I love it. So go support your girl. The radios don't play her like that, but she's still making moves. And you got to make moves regardless of what anybody else gives you. You create your own opportunity. Hey y'all, how y'all doing? Happy Friday to you. Hey Phyllis and, and, uh, Miss Beverly from OKC. Hey, uh, Miss Blayton. I got my glasses on, y'all. Hey y'all, I see you coming in. Please be sure to share this one because I'm about to drop a nugget on you real quick. And also, if you did not hear about what I announced last night I'm going to announce it again, uh, today. But listen, I wanted to drop in. Today is Friday. Fridays are my days off. I don't work on Friday, Saturday, or Sundays unless I have something major going on. But Friday is my me time, my me day that, um, I do me. But listen, I was going through some of the comments and I got quite a few notifications about comments, and I started reading a few of them. And ladies, I I gotta say, I feel your pain. I feel your heart. I know when you come on my page and you hear me talking amazing things about how we need men and how men are so important for us and how we need to be interconnected and be interdependent, and I know some of you hear that, but you're— because of what you've gone through, you're like, to hell with that. These fools need to, uh, you know, get with it. You know, I'm sick of this, I'm sick of this, I'm sick of that. I'm sick, you know. And your message needs to be more toward the men. Your message needs to be telling them I'm going to get right. See, here's the thing. What I need you to do, not just not for me, but for yourself, is to let go of the disappointment. Every man that you meet is not going to treat you wrong. Every man that you meet is not going to do you bad or have ill will toward you. And some of you didn't like one of my comments I made today because it was some tough love yesterday. If you were in, if you're in my I'm an Asset Women's Network group, There was some tough love going on over there yesterday, and I didn't care. Because if you don't like the results that you're getting, me patting you on the back, me telling you it's going to be all right, is not going to help you. We have become a very sensitive society to the point that we don't want hardcore truth. Everything, just because it's said in love, does not make it— it doesn't have to look like candy just because it's said in love, okay? I say everything to you in love, but I am one of those people that I'm not going to sugarcoat anything with you. At the end of the day, ladies, as you tell me all the time, April, you need to get on these men. And y'all know I get on the men just as much as I get on the women. But at the end of the day, the only reason why men are able to treat women the way that they do is because we as women have lowered the standard. I'm guilty of that too, because you get to a place where, when you didn't have self-esteem, you might not have had daddy around, you may not have had that support system or of someone showing you what— that you are an asset woman, that you are a woman of value, and that you're enough. You might have not had daddy there to tell you that you are daddy's girl and you are deserving of a great man, and daddy be the example of that great man. You might not have had that there. I get it. I didn't have that either. So because of that, we have to understand that although men do some real raggedy-ish, a lot of times because of our desperation for love, we've accepted that. So I know you hear me talking, you know, this good talk, and, and I really believe what I'm saying, y'all. I really do believe it because I was once in your position. I was once in a position where I hated men, and, and my whole goal was to conquer them and crush their little hearts because of what I had been through, or because of what I was lacking and did not understand that I did not have, um, that, that I didn't see that male-female dynamic in the home that I should have been able to see because You know, I just didn't have it. So because of that, ladies, I gotta— I want you to understand this. As much as you stress to me, April, get on these men, I get on them. But guess what, sweetheart? You have to take responsibility for the choices that you've made. Even if you did not have the information that you needed in the choices that you made, you still made the choice. So I'm here to tell you that You could choose something different instead of trying to go back and forth with me about what I need to do with the men. How about look at the choices that you made? Look at the red flags that you might've seen, but you went past the red flags anyway. Look at that. Look at how you tried to make somebody love you, how you tried to sell yourself on somebody that was clearly showing you that they did not care about your value. I, in the, in the group yesterday, I talked to the ladies about the why. Who cares about why they did it? We get so stuck on the why. It makes us bitter and it makes us angry. Who gives a damn about the why? All you need to know is this is where it is right now. That's all that matters. So you'll sit there and hold on to the disappointment and hold on to, um, what happened. Who cares? Who cares? And you got to stop wanting someone to always baby, baby pat you on the back, you know, girl, it's okay. I'm not going to jump on the pity party bandwagon with you. Because deep down inside, I know you want that supportive, loving man. I know you want to stop spending every holiday alone. I know you want to stop attracting raggedy men and you want to start attracting quality dates. You know, I always say put, put the marriage on the back burner. Marriage is back here. Let's start with changing who your energy and what you're putting out to attract a quality date. Just because you look beautiful on the outside does not mean that you are a high-value woman. Now, you're a woman that have worth, but if you don't put high-value thoughts and what you say into you, you are not a high-value woman. And a lot of women get it misconstrued in thinking that, um, I'm not settling. But here, here's, here's the kicker, babe. If you have not sat down to find out who you are at your core Any man you deal with, baby, you are settling because you don't know who you are. So if you don't know who you are, what makes you think you're not settling? Because what happens is you're looking at the exterior, you're looking at all of your accomplishments. I got my core, girl, and I, and I keep my stuff together. You know, I got money, I got, you know, I'm doing my thing, I got my coins and I'm driving this nice car. That don't mean ish. If your insides aren't right and if your results are the same. So this is how you figure out if you raggedy, got raggediness on the inside. Look at the result of the men that you are attracting. The men that you are attracting is a direct result of who you are, but you're so busy wearing this mask of who you think you are that you're trying to equate this corporate, this business, this— I wear nice shoes, I got a nice car, I keep my hair done, I got my eyelashes, my— and everything is on fleek. You're equating that to these men want me to settle because I'm a good woman. That's not the same thing. It's not the same thing. So now you're talking about, well, you know what, these men need to get they ish together and step to the plate. Why would they want to step to a plate with a masculine woman like you? Why would they want to step to the plate and even deal with all of the other stuff that you carrying? Why? And I'm not talking at you, I'm talking from a standpoint of I've been you. It wasn't until I looked at the results— and I told y'all about, I had a breakup in 2014 that really broke me down— and I said, nah, April, I'm looking at the results, baby. I'm looking at the results. I don't want those same results again. So what did I do? I took some time to deal with me and take off the she's a businesswoman She's wrote several books. She's an award-winning author. I'm an international speaker. I've run 4 or 5— well, actually, we're adding on another business. I run 5 businesses, successful businesses that actually make money. You know, I'm an attractive woman. I got myself together. Those things I had to look past and say, none of that has gotten you to the result that you wanted. So you're so busy focusing on the other stuff that your inside is what's attracting. So then you have all of these disappointments. That's where the disappointments come, because the disappointments come from who you believe, uh, who you believe you are versus who you really are. So the only reason why men treat women the way that they do It's because we have dropped the standard because of our, um, desperation for love and not having a standard of how somebody is supposed to treat you. So can we really blame the men for what they do? Now, I'm not saying that men shouldn't be held accountable for their ish, but I'm not concerned with them because I understand that when the women get right, a man that likes a woman, a heterosexual man that likes a woman, he gonna rise to the occasion. Because what's happened is Women have lowered it so low that men find you as difficult or classify you as difficult if you want the basics. And it's so sad that we have lowered the standard to where men think the basics of consistency, loyalty, honesty, being chivalrous, um, you know, being loving and caring, being supportive, being protective is asking for too much. We're not just to blame for a certain degree, we're to blame for 100% of it. The reason being is I can't put the blame on the men because at the end of the day, you only accept what you allow. If you allow it and accept it, the blame goes 100% on you. Yes, do the men need to get their act together? They didn't have fathers and all that. Yeah, I get it. But guess what? One thing I've learned is that men follow women and a lot of times they follow us without us ever having to say a word. When I was married and I gained the weight and I didn't want to be a big girl no more, cause I don't know if y'all could tell, but I'm like 5'3", but I gained the weight and I didn't want to be a size 16 cause I just don't, that don't look right on me. I look like a little Oompa Loompa. So I just started working out. Next thing I know, he like, where you going? I said, I'm going to the gym. He said, well, shoot, you ain't about to be the only fine one in this relationship. I'm going to the gym with you. I'm going to walk with you. So we can't blame it on the men if we've allowed it. Once you have a standard and you say, you know what, I'm not going to deal with your inconsistency, I'm not going to deal with you talking to me any kind of way, I'm not going to deal with you wanting me and dating and having all of these side chicks too, I'm not going to deal with that. So can we blame the men for accepting what they give because we want to show how loving we are? No, no, we've had it misconstrued and we've been taught that just show love and they'll come around. Hell to the no, to the no, no, no. If you don't like how you've been treated, and your spirit will tell you that, women's intuition will tell you that, you know what, I'm settling. But if you continue to try to beat somebody over the head and sell them on how wonderful you are You're doing yourself a disservice. And then you get upset and say, see, I loved on him and he didn't even— he wasn't even trying to be there for me. Well, guess what, baby? He was showing you all along. So can you really blame him? That's his character. That's his integrity. That's how he is. That's, that's on him. But you don't have to accept what is given to you. That's in every area of life. Aren't you tired of going to the car lot and you have your mind set on this car that you want and you know you want it, it's like nice, you've got the right interior, everything is what you want, but when you get to go to finance the car, they tell you what you qualify for because you have not done your preparation behind the scenes to make sure that you qualify for exactly what it is that you want. So now you got to go to the $5,000 or less car lot. To go pick something over there. I'm talking from experiences because I had to do it. And I'm like, I don't want this car, I don't want this, I don't want this. Well, Miss Mason, you should have got your credit right so you could go get what it is that you wanted. So what did I do? I worked on me to get me right so I could attract and go get exactly what it is that I wanted versus getting what I'm given. Aren't you tired of taking what's given? Stop taking what's given. Just because somebody hands you something don't mean you got to take it. Just because somebody offers you something don't mean you got to take it. Sometimes some of y'all say, I want a Bentley. Well, hey, you got to ask yourself, am I a Bentley type of woman? See, some of y'all, you got to understand where you fall. And once you understand where you fall, you got to decide, do I want to rise up? Some of y'all are Walmarts. Then, you know, some of y'all a little bit above that, some of y'all a little bit more JCPenney, and then some of y'all might be a little bit more than that, you might be a little Macy's, then you might be a little bit more than that, you might be a Neiman Marcus, and then you might be a little bit more to that where you have— you are— you don't want to have the personal shopper that comes to the house. You got to know exactly where you fall and be accepting of that and say, you know what, I have been acting like a Walmart chick, I really have, but what I'm ready to do is upgrade myself because I have been accepting the $9.97 rollback prices. I've been accepting that and now I'm ready to do something else. So a lot of times you think you the Dillard's or the Neiman Marcus or the personal shopper woman based upon what you look like on the outside, but your inside is still base level Walmart. Matter of fact, let's even— don't even say Walmart. Let's go back. Let's go on down a little further to Newberry's and Woolworth's and Kress's. Let's say that. But what's going on is In your mind, you're— you look— you, you look the part of the high-level woman, but you don't present like the asset high-level woman. So are you disappointed in the men, or should you be disappointed in yourself? Then you keep a bunch of circle of girlfriends around that high-five that foolishness, but yet y'all go out in packs and nobody has a date. And you— the conversation you guys do have about men about how raggedy they are, but nobody's sitting around talking about it, saying, but girl, wait a minute, you did pick that joker. Ain't nobody saying that because everybody wants to be miserable. That's not what we doing. If that's what you're looking for on my page, trust me, there's a whole lot of other dating coaches and people that talk relationships that do that. Over here, it's all about solution-based. My goal is to help men and women come together because I understand that the foundation of the family is so needed, especially in the African American community. It's so needed. That's why our kids is losing they doggone minds, but we so busy pointing the finger. Who did what? Who gives two rats behinds about who did it? Let's accept what is. There is no why, sweetheart, about why he left you. There is no why, um, about why he chose somebody else. Just know that he did. What if you don't get approached? Then that means there's something off with you. Which brings me to— that's why I created the Teach Me How to Date VIP Academy. Because what I've done is I've taken all of my knowledge and my information and what I did to get out of my slump of men not approaching me, because I used to think men were intimidated by me and didn't approach me as well. And what I've done is I created a platform for women who are ready. Women who are ready to say, you know what, I'm going to give her a shot. I'm just asking you to give me a 90-day shot to help you get from where you are and get on the road to where you want to go. Give me one shot. It only costs you $10 a week. $10 to get you in the group because we already got women over there. Once I'm finished with this video, I'm going to go do a training over there on the power of the 3 Ps. And I bet you probably don't know what they are, but I'm going to go do a training after I get finished with this over in the group. It's a Facebook group. You can go to vip— vip.teachmehowtodate.com. vip.teachmehowtodate.com. Just go over there. I'll make sure that I post the link, um, in this after I'm done. But I'm going to teach, uh, the power of the 3 Ps over there as soon as I'm finished with this. I just want you to give me a 90-day, 3-month test run, because what's happened is You want to date. You don't want to spend your holidays by yourself. You want to attract quality men, but there's that blockage, that mask that you've been wearing of who you think you are. And I'm here to show you that what you think you are is not equating to the results that you want. That's all you got to look at. Don't look at how beautiful you are if you're not getting the results. That's like somebody having a business that's not making any money. You could talk about how much of an amazing entrepreneur you are and how much you know, but if you are not making money in your business daily, your results are off. You need to do something else. And that goes for every area of your life. So it's good to hype yourself up and talk a good game and look the part, but if your results are not adding up to what you think they should add up to based upon what you've accomplished and how you look on the outside and what you think you know, then you really don't know as much as you think you do. I had to help my daughter out with this. I saw she just logged on. Hey Adriana, girl, I talked about you last night, but I told the story last night about my daughter, the man she's getting ready to marry. If I wouldn't have told her to stop worrying about the, you know, my mama, you know, he ain't what I'm used to and I don't have them sparks and all of that. Uh-uh. Y'all got a lot in common. The chemistry might not have been there off the rip, because you weren't looking at him for who he was. You were looking at the outside. Even though he's an attractive guy, you— he just wasn't what you was accustomed to. But I need you to stick in there. I said, it's not like y'all don't have anything in common. It's not that y'all don't have any chemistry. You just want— you waiting for the fireworks and all of that. And I'm saying, do you want the fireworks or do you want a good man to put a ring on it? She's like, I want a good man to put a ring on it. Well, we planning— we're planning the spring wedding right now. I got— I had to look at all of the cakes and stuff last night. So I'm here to help you get out of your own way because I had to get out of my own way, uh, as well. And I want, I want you to understand that it's not about getting to the marriage, it's about getting to you. So give me 90 days, give me 3 months of your time. It's only $10 a week. You could pay by the week, or it's $110 for the 3 months. You gotta— you get a $10 discount for the 3 months. Um, so I just want to be able to work with you because I'm— I hear the pain inside of what I watch. When I look at the comments, I hear— I feel the pain. Well, you need to be on these men. Well, I'm just tired. I'm giving up on men. And I'm— and, and today I said, well, that's your choice too. Someone was like, that was mean of you to say. No, if you're choosing to give up on men, then that's your choice, just like you can choose not to give up. You can choose to give up. I'm not here to pat you on the back and say, girl, I understand why you give up. And people say, April, well, you live in Atlanta, so you understand the struggle is real. Those aren't my facts. Those aren't my facts. I don't have the same argument as the women in Atlanta do. I don't, because I view things differently. And so until you learn how to change your mind, you get the same result. Kathy, it has started already. It's an ongoing thing, so you can join at any time. But here's the kicker: the $10 a week introductory rate is for a short amount of time because I'm gonna be dropping some jewels. Not only will I be going live inside the group, which I'm gonna go live in a minute, but I also will be showing you some pictures and things that I've done that I've never shown anybody other than my family, of the things that I've done to go prepare myself for for so I could be the best me for the man that's for me. So I'll be showing you that, those things. We'll have weekly classes. You get put on the asset hot seat, and the asset hot seat is you have the opportunity to be chosen to go live with me. Like, if I swipe my screen, I can click on anybody's name, and if you're open, you— both of our faces will come up on the screen, and we can, we can dialogue that way where I can put you on a hot seat. You tell me your problems, and we're gonna see how to work you through this. We're gonna be talking about femininity, um, the art of flirting, because y'all haven't— some of y'all have no flirting techniques whatsoever, and flirting is big. I'm just a natural flirter because I'm a communicator. I was out last night, flirted last night, um, but that's just some one of the things that I'll be teaching. I'll be teaching how to prepare your home if you are a single parent, how to prepare your children, because when I was starting to date again, my kids were smaller And I was like, I don't know. And they was like, wait a minute, what you mean you going out to date? So I'm going to talk to you about that. Thank God I'm an empty nester now. I can do what I want to do. But, um, I had to prepare myself and prepare them because if you don't prepare your kids and you just out there, next thing you know it's a new man in the house or a man around, they'll be looking at you crazy. So there's a way to do that. We're going to be talking about, uh, manifestation. If you don't have my manifestation course, go get it. But we will be talking about it inside of the group as well. We're going to talk about how to get that desperation, desperation perfume off of you because your scent is off. How to raise your energy because what you're attracting is a direct result of what's in here, regardless of how beautiful or how much of a banging body, a money, and you got in that, that, uh, Dooney Bourke bag you carry. That doesn't matter. None of that matters at all. I'm going to show you how men choose women. Men don't choose women based upon the same criteria that we choose men on. And that's a lot of what's going on. We are going to get acquiring all of these things, and then when it comes to the relationship part, we're presenting those things as, oh well, if you want to leave me for her, she ain't even got her degree, she ain't even, she ain't even got nothing going on. That ain't why he chose her. So get your stuff, because I got my stuff now. I got, I got my stuff and successful and all of that, but I had to learn when to turn this Miss CEO hat off, okay? There's a time and a place for Miss CEO, and there's a time and a place for Miss CEO to sit back and ride in the passenger seat. So I had to learn how to balance those two. I had to learn that. So I'll be teaching that and so much more. So go to vip.teachmehowtodate.com because it's not just about a technique of 5 ways to get him to text you. Now forget that. This is not even about him. It's about you. And only in order to get something different, you've got to do something different. So I'm, I'm asking you to give me 3 months of your time. Some of y'all invest more than $10 a week on getting your hair done, you know, every week. Some of y'all invest way more than that. So I'm saying $10 a week. You don't have to pay the whole, um, uh, 4 weeks up front. You could week by week, you'll just be debited $10 a week. Makes it easier, make it more economical. And I want you to learn how to start investing in yourself. So even a small investment is $10 a week. It helps you in other areas, and I'm going to explain to you why it does, how I went from, um, cringing spending $20 at Payless ShoeSource to where no matter what the amount of pair of shoes that I see that I want, I'll go and buy them. But it took me getting there. So the $10 is only 90 days? No, the $10 is not only 90 days, it's $10 a week. But I'm asking you to give me, to give me 90 days of your time just before you decide I'm just gonna throw men in the garbage. But if you go to vip.teachmehowtodate.com, there is a video there explaining, um, explaining it all right there. Or it's $110 for the whole, um, for 90 days. But this is a continuous group. You can, you can join at any time. This is not a, um, a limited time to join the group. What is a limited time is the $10 a week. Once you get in at $10 a week, when we raise the prices, your rate will not be raised because I'm about to be dropping some jewels. Like, I'm about to be dropping it, and I enjoy this. This is, this is the fun part for me because when I tell you I'm gonna teach you how to flirt, I'm gonna teach you how to walk, I'm gonna teach you how to dress when you go out, I'm gonna, I'm gonna teach you so much stuff that my mentors have taught me and what it means to be a woman Do you, do you have any mentoring program for young adults? I don't, but my daughter does, um, and I'll make sure I post that. My daughter is 23 years old. She owns her house. She bought her first one at 21. I think she's looking to buy another one at the top of the year. Uh, she's, um, very, very, very, um, knowledgeable in the area of credit and getting your life together. So, you know, Snow, has she made all of the right decisions? No, she has not. But when it comes to life stuff and making sure her household is in order, the way the what she thinks and, and, and how she moves. She's good. She's definitely good at that. At the end of the day, she's still my daughter, and you know your children are not perfect. But what I am— I can say is that I'm extremely proud of her for doing what she has done in her life, as far as doing a lot more than most 40-year-olds don't own a house. Most 40— more 30-year-olds don't do, you know, do that. So what I'll do, um, is I'll post her link. I have— I'll get her link, Miss Shaquita, and I'll post her link because she is— she does mentor, um, young girls as well as women her age as well. The website is vip.teachmehowtodate.com. I'll post the link, um, I'll post the link after this. I didn't post the link above because for whatever reason, when you post the link and go live, most of you will not get the notification because it's a link that goes outside of Facebook. So I don't post the link in my initial post because of that. It's a lesson that I had to learn. I started following your daughter on Instagram. Amazing lady, her mama's daughter for sure. But thank you so much, Momo. Make sure you keep following her. She calls me all the time, Mama, okay, this is what I want to do. I want to, I want to mentor. She told me, I want to mentor and coach young ladies, but how do I, how do I work that out? Because I, you know, I want to do this. I want to work like you. I want to work smart, not hard. I don't want to go to nobody's job. She actually works from home, um, but she wants to do even bigger things. Thank you so much, uh, DeAdria. DeAndre, DeAndre, I hope I said that right. VIP— vip.teachmehowtodate.com. So what did you miss? You got to go back and rewatch the video, Miss Nikita. How will I be getting the group after we pay? I'm paying now. Once you— we— something we have to do manually, so all of the instructions are on the page, the thank you page. So once you pay, it goes directly to a page and it gives you Specific instructions. So I'm getting ready to go now because I gotta go over there and teach the power of the 3 Ps. And so I'm looking forward to working with you, and this is an ongoing group, but I gotta say that the introductory of the $10 a week, which you don't have to pay up front, you pay it on a weekly basis, is an investment in yourself. Because if what you've been doing Ain't working. Uh-uh. Are you teaching married women to date their husband? This is in there. This can be— this is a part of it as well, because a lot— I would say 40% of my private one-on-one coaching clients are married women. So, um, even though I've been married, been divorced, I've learned some things. I saw the mistakes that I've made when I was married. I coached quite a few women, especially my married ladies, that don't know how to sit back and let their husbands do what the crap they supposed to do. They don't know how to woo him anymore. They don't know. They feel like, you know, accept me as I am. You go to bed in them raggedy old raggedy pajamas. And I am so anti-bonnet. That's just me. I sleep on satin sheets. So, you know, I didn't even comb my hair today. This, this right what you see around my head is a result of my satin pillowcases. Okay. I don't even, I'm not tying my hair, head up and all of that. So yes, can married women join the group? Yes, you can, because what I'm teaching are women principles, not just necessarily, um, that you have to be married or single, but as a woman, how you should feel. And I noticed that when I was married and I was not feeling my best and I was, uh, let my self-esteem slip, I noticed when I started doing me, it made him kick in. Like I said, a lot of my clients that are married— married women make up about 40% of my coaching practice. Because just because you get married, does that mean you know how to be a feminine woman? No, no, it's not only for single women. If you're in a relationship, married or single, because the principles that I'm going to be teaching applies to every area of life. However, I will be giving a lot of information to the single woman who's looking to attract quality dates that will possibly lead to meeting your purpose mate. But what I'm not teaching is this is how you go get a husband, girl. No, this is not how you go get a husband. This is how you get yourself right for you to take the first step to start attracting quality dates. Then hopefully out of those quality dates, you're going to attract and meet your purpose mate. But too many people are trying to get directly to the marriage. But if you have not been acting like a wife and doing what wife— wifely duties and wifely things, why are you trying to rush so fast to get to the— to the date? I mean, to the wedding. Uh-uh. Mm-mm. I'm just saying you're moving too fast. It's all about you getting to know you, who you are at your core. So, so I'll put it like this. I see some, a lot of people saying I was raised in church and holiness and all of this. I get it. But let me explain one, this one thing to you. Never let anybody make you feel that you are being desperate. That you are not waiting on God or that you are needy if you can say, I desire to be in a healthy relationship that leads to marriage. Never let anybody tell you that, because what happens is if you say ask, knock, and seek, you ask where you want to live, you say, oh God, I want a house over there, you ask for that, you ask for the kind of car you want to drive, the kind of job you want, you pray for all of those things. But the thing, when it comes down to love You leave that up to chance. And especially if you have not seen healthy relationships, you have not seen how men treat women. You guys have seen the men in my circle that I brought on the show, from, from Joe, uh, Joe Hill to Jack Daniels to my good friend Rodney Perry. You see the quality of men that I bring on my show. So that lets you know those are the men in my circle. So this is where I get a lot of my male information from and how I'm supposed to be. I remember When I first went through my divorce, my good friend Joe, he, um, he said, April, I want you to go, go with me somewhere. And his wife was like, go with him. So I went, and what he was doing was teaching me, okay, you walk this many paces on the right to ensure that a man opens your door. You don't do this, you do that. So my circle is full of people that look out for me and impart into me. And I'm not— I'm going to take my wisdom that I've gotten from them as well as the wisdom that God has, um, bestowed upon me and share it with you. Because you guys always say, why are you so happy? Is it— are you like that all the time? Yeah, yeah. Yes, I had Sean Lovings on the show. Yeah. Oh, y'all like Sean? Sean is single. Sean is single, you know. I'm just saying, I told him I need to do a matchmaking event with him. But Sean is, uh, last I checked, he was single. I gotta text him and ask him. Um, so my goal is to help you move from where you are to where you want to be. You know, be better for you. Be that— see, I want you to be that asset woman. I want you to be that woman that's like, it's not about if they like me when I walk in the room, it's about will I like them. I want your confidence to be so freaking high that even if someone isn't feeling you back the way that you like might be liking them, it doesn't matter. I'm 28 and live in Atlanta too, but I'm a homebody. How do I get out of— get out of that and put myself in a position even to meet a guy? Well, you got to join the group Teach Me How to Date. I'm going to be talking about that. I even wrote, um, a book, uh, and did a video on 50 great places— 50— get your date on to my top 50 places to meet quality men. That's in my, um, store, store.aprilmason.com. It's a video where I go through all 50 places and it's a, it's a listing of my top 50, and some of them are very different that you probably wouldn't go to. Um, but I've covered that. I have a product for that. Uh, but I also have the Teach Me How to Date VIP Academy that you can join because those will be things that we will be discussing. Um, as well, ain't nobody had time to be no homebody because I'll leave it, I'll leave it at this. If you are a homebody and you don't know what to do with yourself and you don't get out, you definitely need to be a part of the VIP group because that only tells me that baby, you have not found your purpose and you're not on purpose. When you're on purpose, you don't have time to constantly just be sitting around, around the house soaking and looking sad and wondering, you know what, everybody else got a date tonight. Everybody else got a date tonight. I'm 53 and have no clue. Paula, join us. Join us, join us. I'm excited because you might not have a clue, but baby, I do. Trust me, I got a clue. And couple of my clients, my coaching clients, are actually older than you. I think my oldest, um, to Redesign Your Love Life private coaching clients, I think she's 63 and she's dating. So we gonna, we gonna remove those blocks. That's what this, ladies, that's all this is. It's about fear, it's about blocks. It's about past experiences, and it's about not wanting to make the same mistakes again. And guess what? When it comes to love, giving and receiving love, if your heart is closed, you can't receive. If your heart is— excuse me, if your fist is closed, you can't give or receive. And it's the same thing with your heart. You can't give love with your heart if it's closed, and you can't receive love if your heart is is closed. The thing about love, babies, is this: love is a risk. And once you understand that love is a risk, and only thing you can do is equip yourself with knowledge, connect to Spirit, use discernment and wisdom in your choosing, it's not as scary as you thought it was. It's only when you're not connected and you relying strictly on your own thoughts. But you gotta remember, those are the same old thoughts that had you in that last foolish situation that you were in. So in order to get something different, you got to put something different in. So I love you guys. I'll post the link below as well as I'm headed over to the group now to teach the power of the 3 Ps. Someone said, I need— I, I just need to take that first step. Yes, Annette, join us over in the group and I'm gonna talk about what that first step is right now. The power of the 3 Ps. And to answer the question, no, this is not a limited time to join the group. You can join the group at any time. However, the $10 a week introductory rate, it's only for a limited time. So if you lock in now, you'll always be locked in at that rate. Okay, love y'all, bye.
