Daniel walks through his day: designing a six-month Athletic & Functional Muscle program for a client with hip-flexor issues and basketball goals, breaking it into six progressive phases with specific movement focuses. He hits the gym with friends, then eats a high-protein meal, emphasizing that discipline, rest, and proper sleep manage cortisol and drive client success.

Just got up, literally. I guess I'm gonna do a vlog. Um, I already made my bed, you know what I'm saying? Um, I was not gonna wake up and post the camera, but you get the point. I'm about to go to the gym with the homie, you feel me? Like, he's been telling me to really arrange my room, do something with it, but bro, I'm a simple dude, bro. Like, it is what it is, you feel me? But yeah, um, Yeah. You know what I'm saying? We finna go to the gym real soon. Um, I'm gonna do some little work right here, then we're gonna go to the gym. And my little workstation, a little messy. Well, actually, no, not really. I just put this here, so that's why. But yeah, do that, and, uh, we're gonna come back, show y'all how I break fast because First vlog, right? I think. But yeah, I'm gonna get back with y'all. I'm gonna, you know, I'm gonna do some work, I guess, and I'll show y'all how I make programs. You know what, let me show you how I make programs. Let me put the— let me put the laptop on. Let me put that on. This is what I'm gonna wear for the gym anyways, so I'll put that here. I'm gonna wear this when I come back. Put that there.
Um, all right, let's see.
Had to buy some new AirPods because yesterday mine fell in the water. So yeah, and I still got to finish the Q&As too, actually. I'm gonna make sure I finish that before I go out.
Apologies.
Oh yeah, this is for YouTube. So I do Q&As every Saturday and Sunday to answer people's questions, you know, about life, athleticism, you know, just whatever, you feel me? Just for me to talk to y'all, you know what I'm saying? I like doing that. It's fun. It's chill.
So, you know what I'm saying? Right here. Let's see. Let's cancel this. All, you know, no edits, no edits. Cool. I'm not gonna be checking the music. Let me see. This is default. So what I usually do is I check my music and all that stuff. I think it's a little single there, so I'll do a small. But that's what I would typically do.
Um, hope y'all can hear me. Apologies about that.
And yeah, you know what I'm saying? Let's, uh, let's see.
Let's see what it is, you feel me?
Let's see what it is. I will show y'all. I will show y'all how we conduct work, in a sense. So right here, I hope y'all can see. You know what, let me put this on because it's too much. It's much easier. It's much easier. Y'all can see, no edits, none of that. Just being myself, authentic as we call it.
Got it.
But yeah, let me show y'all. This is pretty much, you know, I would come here Let me show you how I make my programs. So I had a, I had a client, I had a client yesterday, uh, you know what I'm saying? Let me see, I texted him this morning when I got done. I had a client, uh, yesterday. I, I onboarded a client yesterday, uh, pretty much one-on-one coaching. And you know, his name is, you know, his name is, uh, I'm not going to say his name, but his name is You know what I'm saying, for short form. So I was able to, I was able to finish his program, and I'm gonna show you how his program goes. I'll give you a little insight on how his program goes. I was able to finish his program, right? And you know, look at this right here. This is how his program looks. This is how in-depth I kind of write programs in a sense. I hope y'all can see it. I hope y'all able to see it in a sense. Camera only wants to pick up my face. That's hilarious. Wow, okay, okay, okay, camera, you're in there. I get it, I'm doing it, I'm doing it, I'm doing it. Okay, but yeah, let me show y'all, let me show y'all how in-depth the program is going on, you feel me? And I said, I always tell my clients, you know, your success is my success because I want to see you win, you feel me? Um, the ability to change people's lives It's it's like no other sense. You feel me?
And I love it.
I never get tired of it. You know what I'm saying? If I can help someone's life, obviously I love it. You know what I'm saying? And I make sure the programs get them right. Nutrition plans get them right. Phase one, phase two, phase three, phase four, phase five, phase six. All phases are written in six months. I'm saying. So I start them off with phase one. It's not overload them. So here's how this how it looks. This is D's program right here. The 6 Months Athletic, you know, and Functional Muscle Program. He hit me up with that. He wanted, um, he had problems with his hips, you know what I'm saying? Hip flexors were tight. He plays basketball too, and, you know, he wants a security job. So I said, cool, I'm saying, I got you on that. I know the right exercises, the right movement to give you so you can go about and, you know, just so you can be functional in a sense, you feel me? We're gonna do isometrics, we're gonna train the core. We're gonna, we're gonna really strengthen the posterior chain, you feel me, because that's what the hip flexors are. So I really have him doing phase 1, you know what I'm saying, foundation phase. And he wanted to be athletic too because he played basketball. So phase 1 is pretty much the athletic phase. We're bulletproofing the body and then we're doing fast-twitch muscle fiber. We're activating that fast twitch. And that's what I had here going on. As you can see, I even have infographics. Infographics are super important to give your client, you Because if they don't understand something, it's going to explain it for them.
You feel me?
Infographics. This is a fast switch. This is a difference between fast switch and slow switch. So they can see this, right? They can be like, oh wow, so that's how you go about it. You feel me? Yes, words are good, but pictures, they even better. Visuals are better because people can see it, they can understand it. You feel me?
So here's how I went about it.
Fast switch. I explained the difference between fast twitch and slow twitch fibers, you feel me? Fast twitch is super important. Slow twitch is, you know, like, look, like, we lift weights, don't get me wrong. I made my coin lifting weights, you feel me? But I'm all about functioning muscle. All muscle is not the same, trust me on that. There's a reason why bodybuilders are not running, you know, they're not running what's it called, 10-somethings, you feel me? Or 11-somethings, because, you know, their muscle is typically used to show. There's nothing wrong with that. Nothing wrong with that, trust me on that. It's just for show. But you know, you want to be functional and agile. I'm talking about moving side to side. I'm talking about like, if you're trying to be, if you're trying to be like, you know, like real functional, you know what I'm saying? I'm talking about, I'm talking about, you know, you need to move side to side, side to side, spin around. You can't be only lifting that. That's not, you know what I'm saying? That's not gonna do what's it called? It's not gonna do anything substantial in the sense of crazy for you. You want results. I'm all about results. That's why I say your success is my success. You know what I'm saying? So yeah, let me go about it. You know what I'm saying? So pretty much, you know what I'm saying? Like I said, I give them infographics. Infographics, you know, they learn more from that because it's visual. You know what I'm saying? So I break it down day one, explosives and all that. I don't know if you can see the explosive foundation. You can give me that sneak peek into it, you feel me? I should not be doing it, but it's fine, it's fine. So yeah, here it is. Um, let me go over here. Let me put this right here. It's because I put a—
I put a second infographic.
Oh, what the heck?
Okay.
So here it is. As you can see, contract training, strength to explosive movements, whether it's squats. You can do squats to depth jumps, drop jumps, or you can do hip thrusts to broad jumps because that's all posterior chain.
You feel me?
You're moving after you move that weight. So yeah, you know, this is the first phase of his, you know, quarter squats. I make sure, you know, it looks good too, you feel me? Because when you're in the program, you wanna be able to look good. And here's his meal plan right here, you know what I'm saying? High protein and all that. And this is just the first phase. We progress every phase, every month. Phase 2, phase 3, phase 4, phase 5. So this is it right here, gentlemen. And yeah, man, you know what I'm saying? After the first move, We move to the second phase, we talk about it. You know, we're gonna have meetings every, every weekend. Like I said, your success is my success, so I must get the results from you. You gotta do good, you feel me? And you know, you should obviously want to do good. Like, you really should want to do good. So yeah, man, you know, that's just a sneak peek into it. I'm about to head to the gym with the homie, you feel me? I'll show y'all that, obviously, you know what I'm saying? We gonna work out. Do a little thing and then come back. I'm gonna show y'all what I ate. Break that fast, uh, because I'm hungry.
I can eat, I'm hungry.
Oh, oh, sure.
3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. On the 8. On the—
Hmm.
Yeah. Let's see what it is. Cab raises, man. We can't do it.
We can't do it.
But we can't. Why not try? We definitely can't. It's just that annoying ass thing. It's annoying. You gotta use one hand. Oh, bro.
Now?
Bruh. I hate that. I genuinely hate that. Nasty work. Crying. Six. Twelve. And they got a ski mask on. I'm crying here. Oh no, probably a hoodie. Maybe that would be a deal, man. Oh bro, I'm crying, bro. They really making niggas look bad, man. Seen these ski masks in the summertime. I think that was like 2, 3 years ago, right? Homie had that— he had ski masks in the pool and shit. You seen that meme, bro? Yeah, I'm talking about graduation picture. Oh, niggas just be doing too much, bro. Like, make the fool look bad. I was in the Bronx one day.
Mm-hmm.
It was like 90 degrees.
Yeah.
I see this nigga with a ski mask on and a hoodie on while I was walking on like the side of the street. He said, you not bro, I crossed the street. Hey, I'm crying, G. I thought you hilarious as hell. I'm crying. What's that called? The street. I crossed the street as fast as I could, bro. I don't even blame you, bro. I don't want to make it like that near me. I don't even blame you, G. That's funny. All black? Yeah, yeah, bro's going for war. Make it easy to be rapping.
Lean.
You know I like training legs, but you gotta train legs at least 3 times a week. So, so light, bro.
What, bro?
What? It's light as I ain't gonna lie. Uh, whatever. Ah yeah, I love extensions, bro. What do you mean? You gotta do it on 5. Yo, hey yo! Oh my gosh, bro! What, bro? Hey yo, this crazy work, G. How you bricked up, bro? I'm not bricked up, cuz. I'm chill.
You got to do that 5.
Yeah, get all this stretch all the way down. Add more weight though. It's light though, you think? I mean, yeah, it's light. This ain't enough. Which one is this? This 100?
No.
Damn.
Yeah, you got to let it, let it like stretch you.
Oh my gosh.
Yo, this crazy.
I never— nah, this crazy work, bro. Leather stretching is crazy, bro. It's not going though. You're still, you're still under tension. Oh nah, this crazy. Oh yeah, this crazy, bro. Let's do, uh, let's do 140. Let's see what it is. Oh my gosh. Ah, I thought I showed you these squashing watermelons and all that. No cap. The goddamn big-ass thighs, man. Oh my gosh. Hey, hit some of this. Come on, bro. That shit right. Oh, cap. Came back from the gym.
Let's, uh, about to break fast. I think it's, uh, what's the time? Time is 3 o'clock. 3.
To look up push-ups real quick.
So yeah, we about to go break fast. It's like 3 o'clock now. Let's go eat. Looking decent, looking decent, looking decent. Let's go eat.
You feel me?
Oh, that's only one? Yeah, there's only one. I just cut into 4 pieces, you feel me?
Oh yeah.
What you think? Good though.
I'm gonna cut it into 4 pieces.
Solid.
You rested this week, you know what I'm saying? That's good. But let's say this week coming up, you know, Monday you did good, then Tuesday all of a sudden, you know, you're feeling that, you know, the body's not per se used to it yet again. It's fine to take a little bit of Tuesday and a little bit of Wednesday. Wednesday more of recovery rest, you feel me? Like, you're not just sitting around, you're obviously doing the light, light, you know, light jogs and all that, getting the body primed. So when you go back on Thursday, Thursday and all that, you're right back into it in a sense, you feel me? So, you know, it would kind of move your schedule back and all that, but it's fine though because we want optimal results, you know, when you get that rest, you feel me? Because once you get that rest, everything's good from there on is what I'm trying to say. So yeah, don't, uh, don't be afraid, you know, to take rest. I know it makes it— it pushes your schedule back, but you know, better safe than sorry so you don't pull anything, you don't get injured. That's, you know, that's really good. That's really the main thing right here, I kid you not, you feel me? Your health, your health comes first.
Literally, health comes first.
Before night, so I know what you mean.
Yeah, like you know the body's just going like it's kind of used to. You know you're kind of used to waking up early, so by you by your body doing that, you didn't get enough hours in the sense. You feel me? So I know what you mean. Oh man, that's uh let's definitely try to sleep early today.
Let's definitely try to sleep early today because your cortisol levels cannot be high.
You feel me?
That cannot be spiked up. Like especially you know if it's just spiked up, that's just stress right there building up honestly.
And you know, at most, or even maybe like a five pound because the weights in the gym are in kilograms.
Okay.
But I accidentally, so I thought the week before I was doing the RDLs with a twenty and a fifteen. So like buffer is like okay. Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
That's why like I mean.
I mean, I've seen people do it with their back, like put it there, but I don't—
I mean, I don't see that, how that really works, you know, your ankles, in my humble opinion. But I know it works your ankles when you put it like that and your foot is right there, in a sense, you feel me? Because you're overcoming isometrics. You're literally overcoming isometrics. So yeah, that's just— that's just the way to do—
that's just the way to go about it.
Yeah, so I'm glad I asked, because if I did it the way I thought of doing it, I would have done it wrong.
Yeah, no, you're good.
That's what I'm saying, like, you know, please, uh, please ask the questions, you feel me?
Don't, don't hesitate. Don't hesitate.
I just got out of a meeting with one of my clients, D. Uh, pretty much the last meeting for the night. It's about 10 PM. Uh, it really was a great day all in general. Just, you know, just wanted to show y'all how I go about my day. Um, hope y'all enjoyed it. You know, like I said, today was more of a chill day. Uh, the workload wasn't too much, of course. I, you know, I am editing now after my meeting with my client D. So yeah, that's pretty much it, y'all. You know, uh, y'all stay blessed and disciplined. That's the most important thing. You got discipline, you will be fine. You will be fine.
So yeah, man.
Y'all be good.
