Most men lose muscle while cutting fat because they copy influencer workouts instead of training for strength. Focus on heavy lifting, daily core work at different intensities, enough protein, recovery, and 10,000 steps daily. Conditioning should build performance, not punish you.

The reason why most men lose muscle while trying to lose fat will actually shock you. And it's honestly because they try to train like influencers they see online, not necessarily athletes nor functional. The goal isn't to look tight, for real. It's actually to look very capable and be very capable. Endless circuits and fasted cardio? Yeah, that will eat your muscles away when not done right. Now, my rule is to train for strength, aka train your core daily at different intensities, because a strong core makes every lift easier. Literally. Which means you're getting stronger and you're lifting heavy, which will burn fat and obviously build muscle. For all 4, recovery and move daily. Think about 10K steps. You and I both know it's important to lift heavy, eat enough protein, and use conditioning for performance, not punishment. You don't gotta be sweating buckets to know you're putting in work. And the result? You drop fat, build muscle, and keep energy for your career and family. Ladies and gentlemen, train smart.
