A creator shares his OMAD and 2MAD intermittent fasting approach, fasting until after noon and breaking fast with protein to keep insulin low. He skips breakfast as mental discipline, prefers walking and incline work over daily running to protect joints, and trains for functional movement and joint health rather than pure aesthetics.

What's good, y'all? So another quick video on my diet. This will be really quick. I just wanted to explain some things in that video since a lot of y'all seem to really like it in a sense. So with the OMAD, right? OMAD and 2MAD, the things I practice, which are my diet. So it is 11 o'clock right now. I am not going to eat till after 12 or 1 PM, or maybe 1 PM, you feel me? So the reason why I do this is because, well, one, mental fortitude, of course. It builds strong discipline, you know what I'm saying? And 2, it just keeps me lean. I mean, literally, like, you know, my body's, you know, it's eating up the fat storage. If I was to go work out and all that, my body's, you know, its energy is coming up from fats, you feel me? Fat storage and all that. And it's obviously eating that up in a sense, you know what I'm saying? And I'm still able to retain my muscle and all that. And not only that too, I also do my cardio faster, which would be just walk, you know. Walking is good. Literally, like, walking a good 10K steps is really good. That's one of the best qualities you can do. Now, a lot of people typically ask, yo, didn't you used to run miles? Yes, I used to run miles, but you have to understand, if you're running every day, that's too much stress on the body and the joints. Let's be real, you feel me? So you do not want to run every day. When I mean run every day, you don't want to be doing extreme miles, like 5, 3 miles, 4 miles every day. That's too much. Literally, that's too much on the body right there and your joints. Over time, it does compound and not in a good way, you feel me? So definitely you want to walk. You want to walk or just do a tread— what's it called? Incline walk, incline treadmill. Stairmasters. You want to do these things instead of, you know, running every day and beating up your body. If you want to run, you can run once or twice a week. That's fine. Nothing wrong with that. You feel me? But don't be out here overdoing that. You would literally regret that. You know what I'm saying? But yeah. So like I said, with my diet, I typically, when I wake up, I do not eat. I don't do that. You feel me? I typically, you know, obviously hit the gym and get what I gotta do out the way and all that. Make sure I'm doing some sort of activity that, you know, requires me to obviously, you know, You know, maybe move a little bit, of course, you know what I'm saying? And when I do come back, when I am about to break my diet, which would be around 12 or 1 PM, like I said, either one of those, I typically break it with protein, you know what I'm saying? Keeps my insulin levels low still, and I'm still able to burn fat, literally, you know what I'm saying? It still helps, you know, helps, what's it called, with shedding fat because it is protein right there, you know what I'm saying? Yes, you can somewhat break it with carbs, but I advise you to break it with protein so it keeps your insulin levels low. You know what I'm saying? While it still allows you to burn fat. So that is really what I do with my diet. Like I said, when I wake up, I don't eat. I literally don't eat. You know what I'm saying? Yes, I'm hungry. I'm hungry now. I will eat, but I'm not hungry to the point where I'm like, oh, I'm gonna die if I don't eat. Nah. Like I said, a lot of that is more mental fortitude. Literally, once you overcome that, you know, you're really solid for the most part. You feel me? You're definitely solid for the most part. But like I said, a lot of people will struggle with this because, you know, One of the hardest disciplines is literally to, you know, control what goes in your mouth. I mean, let's be real. You know what I'm saying? That's why it's so easy for a lot of people to get fat because one of the hardest disciplines is to control what you put in your mouth, in your body, literally. So, and when you can control that, almost every other thing becomes, you know, I don't want to say easy, but it becomes very doable. You know what I'm saying? If you can control what you put in your vessel, in your temple, Every other thing, it becomes manageable. Because easy is not the right word. Because if I said easy, right, which, you know, nothing worth having is ever easy. That's not a thing, you feel me? Great health is not easy, you know what I'm saying? Health is wealth, literally. Like, they both go together. And to acquire that wealth, you got to put in some work, you know what I'm saying? Always look at it, always look at it like that. Nothing worth having other people want is ever easy, free, nor cheap. You feel me? And this really builds that delayed gratification and that, I don't wanna say satisfaction, but it really builds that fulfillment once you really achieve that, you know, that health of yours, that physique of yours, that agility of yours, that functionality of yours, that athleticism of yours. It really builds that, you know, it really builds that fulfillment right there. That's why I always tell people like, you know, like if you're just given, you know, if I just gave you a good body today and all that, yes, you would appreciate it, but you know, you wouldn't necessarily go about trying to maintain it and keep it because like I said, You know, you just got it like real quick and all that. But over time, when you build it right, it builds that delayed gratification and it also builds that character too as well, which is super important. A lot of people skip that. It literally— building your physique, it's like one of the best journeys because it's like a slow marathon in a sense, you feel me? Like, you know, at times, you know, you're doubting yourself, you know, you're unmotivated. Yes, we have that. We have those moments. You're unmotivated, but damn, once you see that result, that little result, it keeps you going. It keeps you going, you feel me? So you You want to you want you want you want to you wanted to compound. You want to stack those days up and all that. You really wanted to compound. But yeah, man, like I said, that's just you know what I wanted to talk about my diet and all that. I just wanted to pretty much explain how I go about it. And let me see. Oh yeah, like a lot of y'all like this style. Like I said, I don't like I do social media, but I'm not only a social media guy, so I keep it real authentic. You know, people want to see that, and that's fine. This is me. This is how I look when I wake up, like, you know what I'm saying? I'm lean right now. I'm leaning out right now. I'm leaning out a lot right now because it's getting warm in Jersey. It's really warm. Well, not really warm, it's like 50s, but as soon as it hits 60s, 70s, your boy is getting extremely cut. Extremely cut, like I always do every summer, you feel me? But nah, but I appreciate the love y'all showed. Like I said, a lot of y'all like this style, and it's always chill. I get to show y'all, you know, just, you know, like I said, No, no pump, no nothing. This is just how I look, literally. You feel me? So I get to, I get to show y'all and all that. And you know, I know people want to see the real, the authentic stuff and all that. And that's, and that's fine. You know, it makes it even, it makes it better for me because I don't like to fake anything. You know what I'm saying? So that's really good. I like that. I like that. I like seeing that. But yeah, but like I said, with my diet though, ladies and gentlemen, I do practice OMAD and 2MAD. 2MAD on days I eat, 2MAD on days I eat 2 meals, but the second meal is not— it's not like a big meal too. It's actually very little, which is funny. It's just high protein, but very little. Because like I said, I don't like to eat as much, you know what I'm saying? I don't like to eat as much. I eat mainly for survival. But when I'm really hungry, you know, I eat, but that's not much compared to other people, you feel me? It's very— the most it will be is like 2,000, you know, like 2,000, maybe 2,000 plus a little bit. But that's like the most it would ever be. But that's Really a stretch, pushing into a stretch right there. But yeah, when I wake up, I don't eat. I eat after 12, 1 PM. And I repeat, I'm repeating this just to let people know, like, you know, that's just, you know, you want to move around, you feel me? Make sure your body is burning some calories before you actually put in some food. Make sure you earn it before you actually put in some food in your mouth. I always say earn your food. Excuse me. I know it sounds like a, like a, what's it called, like a caveman, uh, caveman. I know it sounds like a caveman, what's it called, philosophy. But nah, I really do mean it though. Like, you know, like earn your food, you feel me? Like go about, you know, go about trying to, you know, when you want to put something in your body or whatever it may be, you know, make sure you earn it. You feel me? You know what I'm saying? Now you don't always have to do that, but like I said, that's just a mindset I have. I try to like always make sure I earn what I'm trying to eat. I earn my food, which is, you know, like I said, it's just good for me in a sense. And it just builds strong mental fortitude. And a lot of people in the comments said, Well, not some. Well, some guys said this is not the way to go about it. Obviously, like I always tell you, there are many ways to go about this. You don't have to practice what I do. Literally, you don't have to. I just put out there what I do. If you choose to follow it, great on you. If you don't want to, that's fine. There's nothing wrong. There are many. There are many paths to take to achieve. We know your goals and all that. But this is this is a path I like. You know I'm saying? It's fun and it's brought me great results and it's brought my clients great results too as well. I always implement old model two model my clients. You know. in their meal plans. And guess what? If you're on IG, you follow me on IG, you seen they have great results, literally, you feel me? Like they get lean out. I'm talking about they're getting lean, shredded, you feel me? They get explosive, athletic, and all these because, you know, they're lean and all that. They're carrying less fat on them. But, you know, at the end of the day, right, a lean muscular physique is like, it's the It's literally the most complete physique. And what do I mean by that? You know what I'm saying? You have the speed, you have the power, you have the attractiveness, obviously the aesthetics, as they say. You know what I'm saying? You have the strength too, as well. And you just have the overall functionality and mobility, literally right there. I kid you not. Like the way I train, right? And I know a lot of y'all have seen it and all that. I train to be very functional in real life. Not only like move in a straight line, but be able to go laterally. You know what I'm saying? To be able to jump high, to be able to run fast and all that. I am just an overall very functional human being, literally, you feel me? I can run miles if I wanted to, you know what I'm saying? I can wake up at any given day and just go run very fast, jump very high. My hips never feel tight. My knees never ache and all that because the way I train, I make sure I bulletproof these areas. I literally take care of every area, you feel me? I'm not only going to the gym, right? And doing bicep curls, dumbbell curls, squats and all that. I'm not only going to the gym to go build me some muscle. Because at the end of the day, right, you can have muscle, but it doesn't necessarily mean you're a very functional human being. It looks good on you, of course. Of course, you should want to look good. Literally, you look good, you feel good. But you also want to make sure your body can move good too, as well. You know what I'm saying? At the end of the day, right, your physique is literally a vessel. It's like a weapon in a sense. You know what I'm saying? It's a weapon that should be sharpened all the time. And how do you sharpen that weapon and all that? You literally work on that weapon. You know what I'm saying? You literally work on it. You better yourself every day in the gym. You know what I'm saying? On the field. You know, whatever it may be. You know what I'm saying? You just sharpen that weapon, you know what I'm saying? So like I said, that's just the way I train. The way I train, it makes things very functional. Like, I can do a lot of things, literally. But if I just stuck to my, my normal routine of trying to look good and all that, it's more of a facade. I'm more of a— like, I look like I'm good to look at, but apart from that, nothing else. So you feel me? You don't, you don't want that. You don't want to be the guy that you're just good to look at. But you can't really do anything else. That's really it, you know what I'm saying? So it's like, it's like, you know, like you have this great physique, but you can't run, you can't jump high. Like you can only lift, you can only lift things heavy. You can't even move laterally or control your body or contort your body. You know, you have no mobility and your joints hurt. Man, that would be one of the worst lives to ever live. Like I wouldn't even want to live that. I ain't gonna lie to you. You feel me? Like I have this great physique, but I cannot do what a great physique is supposed to do. Yeah, you got to think about that though. Like, I really got to think about that. Now imagine having this great physique, but you can do everything people think you can do. Because sometimes when people look at people when they're fit, right, they're like, yeah, he's really fit, I bet he can run fast. Whole time he can't even run fast. I bet he can jump high. Whole time he or she can't even jump high. I bet they can move laterally. Whole time they can't even torque and control their body. They have no mobility at all. They look very funny when they're trying to run at full sprint. So yes, you do not want to be that man or woman, you feel me? Definitely, you know, like I said, train for functionality, you know what I'm saying? Train for power and everything else follows. Like I said, like I'd say in the videos, I preach all the time, health as well, you feel me? You want to look good, but apart, you know, but apart from looking good, you also want to be able to move good, you know what I'm saying? Without any pain or discomfort. So yeah, man, I digressed a little bit. Apologies on that. But yeah, that's how I go about my diet. And I just want to say again, appreciate the love. I always appreciate y'all for real. Uh, thank y'all so much, you know what I'm saying? I don't know how much I can say thank you, but, uh, but thank y'all again. Y'all stay blessed, disciplined, and you know, like, subscribe, share with your friends if you want to do that. That's fine with me. I just appreciate y'all for watching. Thank y'all so much. Y'all stay blessed and disciplined. That's the most important part, you feel me? Should I, should I flex before I go? Yeah, I don't got it. I don't got it. But yeah, y'all stay blessed and disciplined. I'm out.
