So yes, OMAD/fasting has its benefits, but it also has its disadvantages as well. It's, you know, it's pros and cons. A lot of people won't tell you, but the unfortunate reality of, you know, of eating one meal a day, OMAD, because when you're eating one meal a day, you're also technically fasting because it's one meal. You're not eating constantly or snacking. So the benefit, I'm gonna start with the benefits. The benefits are that you're really never inflamed. You stay lean all year round. which is like the perk. Everybody wants to be lean. I don't care what nobody say, everybody want to be lean and strong. That's a fact, you feel me? You stay lean all year round. You stay, your insulin levels, insulin sensitivity is very low, which allows you to burn fat and all the good stuff. And your blood sugar levels are obviously not spiked, which is obviously a very good thing. A lot of people spike it as soon as they wake up, they drink coffee. You're cooked, literally, you know what I'm saying? It's going off the roof, you know what I'm saying? So yeah, those are the obvious benefits. I mean, another benefit is that, you know, you feel good, energetic. Human growth hormone is also spiked as well. Now, the cons will be that— here's the unfortunate part about this. Like I said, a lot of people won't tell you is that one of the cons are that, you know, your— what's the word? Your body adapts a little bit too good to it in a sense that, you know, to a point that stress drives adaptation. Yes. You know, once you're fasting and eating one meal a day, right, you're kind of limiting yourself from obviously, you know, a certain amount of foods and, you know, just foods per se, like calories and all that. And your body, it really tricks your mind to, you know, to adapt to it to the point that it thinks, you know, you don't need it. So by you doing that, right, the other disadvantage is that you become very less hungry. A lot of people ask me, yo, how come you don't eat that much sometimes? Well, that's one of the reasons I don't eat that much because my body has kind of adapted to not even want food sometimes, which is, you know, it can be a very good thing and a very bad thing at times because I may, let's say I did some rigorous work. I worked out like crazy, right? And I have to eat. I'm not going to eat, which is crazy. You know, sometimes I've gone a day without eating and all that. And that's because, you know, and that's not because I don't want to eat, My body just, it just doesn't want food, literally. Like, you know, I don't have the appetite to really eat, even though I should eat, but I don't have the appetite to eat. So it's very, it's a very slippery slope sometimes. You have to be very careful with how you manage it. But yes, but you know, the advantages and the pros always outweigh the cons, in my humble opinion. It definitely builds great mental fortitude. That was one of the pros I forgot to mention. Great mental fortitude. Like, I kid you not. It's going to help you almost everything in life because, you know, once you have the ability to control what you put in your mouth is one of the highest forms of discipline. You feel me? So yeah, I say, like I said, give it a shot, but also be very mindful of these things. You know what I'm saying? Don't be an idiot going into it thinking, no, it has no disadvantages. No, it has disadvantages as well too. You know what I'm saying? Very detrimental as well too. But just be very careful. Y'all stay blessed and disciplined.
