What's up, y'all? Instead of telling y'all about how you can bulletproof your knees, your body, and your overall joints to not feel any pain or discomfort, I'm going to show you, you know what I'm saying? Because I like doing real authentic videos. It makes it a little more cooler and more, like I said, authentic in a sense, because you can actually see that I practice what I preach. You feel me? I'm all about that. For real, for real. For all my individuals who sit down a lot, you get the point. You sit down 8 to 9 hours. You know what I'm saying? You're a truck driver, you know, you're a desk worker, you get the drill. Your lower body will take a lot of the damage. This is not me telling you, this is actually a fact. You know what I'm saying? Because your body, your lower body is very much inactive in a sense. Yes, you go to the gym, you pump weight, that's cool and all, but that does not negate the 8 to 9 hours you've been sitting down for the, you know, for weeks. You know what I'm saying? So I'm going to show you how to literally bulletproof your body from home as well too. Obviously you can always go to the gym and do the same thing. But you know, why not just show y'all the proof right here and the you know the bread and butter right here as I always do when I wake up as to why I'm able to have strong joints. You know what I'm saying? You see I'm able to do this. We have strong joints. You feel me? Ooh, get my stability right and you know what I'm saying? Another one with the right leg.
Huh. Huh. Who?
Let's get it. So yeah, I'm going to show you how to go about bulletproofing your body. Super important. So you can obviously beat your kids in any physical endeavor or athletic endeavor. Now I'm just trolling, but you know, you want to be a very capable dad or mom. You know what I'm saying? So let me show y'all. The first thing we're going to start with, let's start with core. Let's get this out the way. Now, to develop a strong core where you're able to do what I'm about to show you, you obviously need to start Start slowly. This is more advanced, but to be able to do this, I'm gonna have to keep the mic down so you know you get the drill. But to be able to develop a strong core where you're able to do things like this standing, you know what I'm saying? Let me keep the mic down and show y'all. First, you start with this. Well, you don't start with this. This is more an advanced way.
But to be able to do this, first you have this. You know, most people can do this. Well, But very few people can do this.
You go down. To be able to do that first, you gotta do this. I call this, I call this the Turkish bell sit-ups. But here's the thing though, you're going to need, um, what's the word I'm looking for? You can use a kettlebell or a dumbbell, you know what I'm saying? I'm going to use a dumbbell because I don't have a kettlebell. So hey, we're doing this live in person, I guess. So I'm going to use a dumbbell. We're going to use it. We're going to do kettlebell Turkish sit-ups. I mean, dumbbell Turkish sit-ups. I'm gonna keep the mic down as always and show y'all.
Put a kettlebell or dumbbell on one arm. Put it on one arm, pull one leg up, whatever leg you know you prefer, and simply do this. So you're just— you're strengthening your core. You're building that stability and strength as well too. You feel me?
Now, you can use the other arm if you want to.
That's up to y'all. It works a little bit of the shoulders too as well, just so you know, you feel me? 'Cause you're gonna feel it in your shoulders too as well, you feel me? A little bit of your upper body. Okay.
Let us go to the next exercise, which will be our knees. Our knees are super important. Let's be real. If you have weak knees, you're cooked. I mean, you can say whatever you want to say. It doesn't matter. Your joints are weak. You're cooked. So yes, let us uncook ourselves, man. You feel me? Let us not, uh, let us not destroy ourselves. So I have a couple exercises for the knees right here. We're gonna do banded TKEs, and then we're gonna do things with the bands. This is super important. This will be probably one of your best friends, you feel me? One of your best friends. Take my word on that. So now here's what we're gonna do.
We put the band around us, make sure we get that, you know, good comfortability range in a sense, bend our knees, and we 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10.
This is an alternative for the people who don't want to do banded TKEs, but for the people who want to do banded TKEs, we can do this.
We put in here, and we do this.
Not hard on your joints. Real comfortable in your joints. You need us. You need a sturdy surface.
You feel me?
How you doing, John? How's your day going? You know what I'm saying? We're just talking. I'm saying, do you watch the, the France, uh, versus Spain game? Yeah, I do know. I was, I was banking on, you know, Beppe to win and France to win, but it's cool though. Yeah, I mean, he's young and he's very talented, so if he wins, I'm happy for him, you know what I'm saying? And there's nothing wrong with that if he wins, honestly. So yeah, you know, we're just talking, we know we're having a casual conversation. Got the water in one arm, sipping on water. Great day, John. Great day, great day. Hmm, great day. After your 20-30 seconds are done, you take it, you do the other one now. Because remember, it's a unilateral exercise, you feel me? So whatever you do with one leg, you do the other one. I'm gonna show you, I'm gonna show you a bilateral exercise we can do, but this is a unilateral exercise. We're doing this, we're doing this.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah, I can't wait for the finals, man. Uh, I'm gonna be, I'm I've been invited to go watch it. I've been invited to go watch it. I hope England wins for other reasons, but I hope England wins. What's it called? Wins. So yeah, we're doing banded TKEs. When our 20-30 seconds are done, hmm, it's a beautiful day, beautiful day, beautiful day, John. When they're done, we're done with it. You feel me? Obviously, 3 sets of 20 to 30 seconds. Next thing we have Still for the knees, but it's, you know, it's a bilateral exercise. This is called a Spanish squat. So we're gonna do a Spanish squat. We're gonna do a good 6 to 7 repetitions. You don't wanna go too deep, but you just wanna be able to, you know, go a little bit below 90 degrees.
You feel me?
So a good—
Ah. Ah. Just like that.
You feel me? Just like that.
Huh. Hmm. You feel me?
Just one more. Okay. That's a bilateral exercise for your knees. You know what I'm saying? This will help build that cartilage in your knees and help strengthen it before you start going into load. What is load? I'm gonna show you. This is what you can— this is what we consider load when it comes to your knees. You take a slant board, you put it right there. You see my dumbbells? Now, only, only, only practice this, ladies and gentlemen, once your knees are actually strong and capable enough. If they're not, I wouldn't advise that. I'm just, you know, please take my word. I really don't want to see any of y'all getting injured. This is an isometric hold for your knees. I'm gonna put the mic down again and I'm gonna show y'all.
You brace yourself, brace your core, and you go into it.
You're killing 3 birds with 1 stone.
Your Achilles, maybe a little bit of your calves, but your Achilles, your hip flexors, and your knees.
Check this, check this. As I mentioned, you're killing 3 birds with 1 stone. Your Achilles, hip flexors, and your knees.
You hold this position for a good 10 to 15 seconds. You feel me? Hmm.
See all the veins coming out? Look at that.
That boy different.
And it also helps your core and stability and strength too, as well.
You know what I'm saying? Your core strength and your stability.
Once you're done, guess what, ladies and gentlemen?
We do the other leg.
It's a bilateral exercise. Hold that position. Hold that position. Killing 3 birds with 1 stone, as I mentioned. Hold that position.
3, 2, 1. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
And ah, sometimes you can even do this, but you got to build that strength up. You got to build that strength up first. You feel me?
You got to build that strength up. What do we have next? We have the hammies. This is how we're going to strengthen our hamstrings.
I almost called hamstrings.
You see how elevated it is? Lovely. First, you do it with no weights.
You go like this with no weights.
This is how you strengthen your hamstrings from your home. No weights. Just hold that position. Isometric hold. Hold that position. A good 10, 15 seconds, wise hold. Then now you, you know what I'm saying? Hold it again. Go a little deeper.
Mm.
Elevator right here.
Now you wake up, fuck, you can even take the weights now.
RDLs.
That's how you do the hamstrings. That is how you do the hamstrings, ladies and gentlemen.
You feel me?
Now If you don't want to do that, let's say you don't have a slant board, that is fine. That's not a problem, literally. You don't have a slant board and you still want to strengthen your hamstrings. Well, we have what we call glute bridges, ladies and gentlemen. Put the mic down again.
You can use a weight or you can just do with no weight and you Hold that position for a good 10 to 15 seconds. Glute bridges right here. Good for your hamstrings and your glutes, as it says. You got to strengthen your glutes too, don't forget. Whatever you do on one leg, you do the other one. It's a unilateral exercise, not a bilateral exercise. This is a bilateral exercise with the glutes. You can do You can do this, but we're not doing this now. We're doing this.
There you have it. I'm gonna give you an extra one, and this is how to strengthen the shoulders at home. Now, if you have light dumbbells, you can obviously do the Cuban, the Cuban presses. But if you don't have light dumbbells, because these are 25, you can still do it with the bands or this, either one.
You know what I'm saying? You see this? The Cuban press is for your shoulders right here, your scalp. You know what I'm saying? It's gonna strengthen it. It's gonna strengthen it. You gotta go slow. No need to— don't do that.
Don't do that. You're gonna injure yourself, and that's not good. You know what I'm saying? Just go, just go slow.
Just go slow. Just go slow.
That mechanical tension.
Mm-hmm. Slow.
Hope y'all having a lovely day, by the way. Slow, slow, and slow. Whatever you do one arm, you do with the other one. Never forget that unilateral exercise. Towards the goal. Erase those imbalances. Whatever you do one arm, you do with the other one.
Slow. Slow. Slow.
Slow.
Slow.
And slow. Well, there you have it, ladies and gentlemen. I hope I was able to help y'all with that. I truly do hope I was able to help y'all with that. That is pretty much a live training session. And I will be hosting another one next week, next Sunday at 3 PM. So for all those who, you know what I'm saying, sit down a lot, they have joint pain, the stiffness, the discomfort, the overall discomfort, which I know you don't want to live with that anymore. Let's be real. You know what I'm saying? Especially when you're doing great with your business, your life and all that. But that hold that's holding you back, you're gonna feel that. You know what I'm saying? And I've had clients, you know, they were doing great. They're doing great financially and all that. But guess what though? Their body hurt. You know what I'm saying? If they could have someone else's body, they would they would pay to have that. So let's be real. You want to be overall very fit, functional, and no pain. You want a pain-free body. So yes, I will be hosting another live event next Sunday. Which will be let me get my phone so I know this properly. Literally, next Sunday. What is next Sunday, ladies and gentlemen?
