In this TAD Tune‑Up video, Samantha from the Customer Programs team walks users through customizing the ServiceTitan dispatch board’s job tray columns via Titan Advisor. She explains that the job tray—used by commercial service, replacement, and construction companies—displays jobs by status and allows filtering, sorting, and direct technician assignment. Because different dispatchers prioritize different information, the tutorial shows how to reorder or remove columns to streamline daily workflow, with the key performance indicator being clicks per scheduled job. Samantha demonstrates navigating to Titan Advisor (Job Booking and Dispatching → Mastery → Customized job tray columns), opening the classic dispatch board, accessing Configure Dispatch Board → Board Appearance, clearing all selected columns, and then selecting a new ordered set (Arrival Window, Job Type, Technician, Customer, Zip Code) before saving. The result is a reduced, reordered column set that helps dispatchers schedule jobs more efficiently. The success criterion is that at least one dispatcher modifies the column order, earning a point toward their Titan score. The video concludes with a reminder to watch future Titan Advisor tune‑ups.

Hi everyone, this is Samantha from the Customer Programs team and I'm here to bring you another TAD Tune-Up. And today our feature is going to be focusing on doing a little bit of customization on the dispatch board. Um, I could talk about it, but it's more fun to show you. So let's go ahead and hop into ServiceTitan and have a look at this area of Titan Advisor. So I'm going to go ahead and share my screen. All right, so we are here, of course, on the dashboard. I'm going to head up to Titan Advisor. Of course, that rocket ship icon in the upper right-hand corner of our screen, it's going to drop us here in the Overview tab. Now, the business section that we're going to be working out of today is going to be Job Booking and Dispatching, which makes sense since this is about the dispatch board. And we're going to move away from the launch stage up here at the top, and we're actually going to move over to mastery for this one. And what we're going to be looking for today is customized job tray columns. So let's go ahead and click into that. Now, with customized job tray columns, as we can see, this is part of the job booking and dispatching business section. Good for our commercial service and replacement as well as commercial construction companies. And the job tray, as we know, shows us jobs by status. It makes it easier to access our daily jobs at a glance. You can filter, you can sort, you can assign jobs to technicians directly from that job tray. And of course, each employee who deals with the dispatch board might want to prioritize different things, so they want the columns to reflect kind of what their needs are so they can kind of easily get through their day. Effective KPIs for this one is going to be clicks per scheduled job. And of course, we have our handy-dandy GIF here, and we're just going to scroll on down and just see— look to see what Titan Advisor is looking for for this particular feature. And thankfully, it's only some pretty simple setup here. So we've just got one thing we need to address, And that is going to be to reorder our job tray columns. So by reordering these columns in the job tray, you can see which jobs need your attention first. You can remove columns that may not suit your needs, and of course move those columns around so you kind of see the things that are most important to you first. And the success criteria— how do we get this marked as complete— is of course going to be at least one dispatcher has modified the order of columns in the job tray. And if we do that, we get a point and of course a completion. So let's go ahead and hop over to the dispatch board so I can kind of quickly walk you through how this can be done. I'm just going to go ahead and come up here and switch tabs. I've already got the classic dispatch board open. And before I hop into the settings, just want to scroll down to the jobs tray and kind of show you guys where my jobs tray is at right now. As we can see, we have quite a few columns sitting here. And I want to highlight here that what we're looking to adjust are these columns in the tray. So the tags, the customer, the priority, etc. We aren't dealing with the tabs up here at the top. We're dealing with these columns down here. So let me go ahead and scroll back up. I'm going to hop into my configure dispatch board settings. And once we are here, we're going to move over to board appearance. Now here in board appearance, we can see our list of columns here, and right now I have pretty much all of them selected. And if you're looking to reorder or reduce the number of columns you have in your jobs tray, you can simply remove them by selecting the X. And if you're looking to completely reorder these, I would recommend just kind of clearing all of the selected columns out like you see me doing here. And then once we have these completely clear, what we can do is we can come back into this dropdown. Here's a list of those columns. And now we can select the columns in the order that we would like them to see. So I'm going to keep this pretty straightforward. I'm going to do arrival window. We'll do type. It's going to be job type, technician, customer, and we'll do zip code. Those are going to be the 5. The others that I had selected before, we're just going to leave those off for now. And I'm going to go ahead and hit save. Now when we come back to the dispatch board, when we scroll down here to the bottom, we will now be able to see that the columns that are in this, uh, these job trays are greatly reduced. We're now down to 5, and we can now see that they are showing up in the order that I selected. So that's how we can kind of adjust this tray here, make it a little more manageable. Prioritize what we'd like to see so that we can get those jobs scheduled as quickly and as optimally as possible. So coming back here to customize job tray columns, again, reorder those job trays. At least one dispatcher has to get those modified and you will get that point towards your Titan score. All right, everyone, thank you so much for joining me today. I hope you guys have a great rest of your day and be sure to tune in to future Titan Advisor tune-ups.
