How to understand who's your exact target audience? Hey guys, this is Nikhil Sai. Today I'm going to explain the simple process how to understand who is your exact target audience is. The one, number one mistake marketers make while they're selling stuff online is they try to sell to anyone and everyone. This is the huge mistake people are making and they don't get any success with that. The only thing is they pay a lot of for the traffic but they never get any results. So what you should do is, let's say your offer is new, you never tried to sell it, or you want to know who is your exact customer avatar is. You want to understand who is your ideal customer is. So this is a really simple process. What I want you to do is go out, publish content, check who is reacting, right? Check who is engaging with you, check who is interested, right? Like go try to get, acquire at least 100 customers in the beginning by using content strategies, organic strategies, maybe a little bit of paid strategies, generate leads and write different emails, check the customer response. And let's say you acquire 100 customers, then check what are the similarities and what are the dissimilarities, which people are purchasing your product more. Then when you get the successful target market, then replicate the same process, right? The one difference between a 5-figure marketer and a 7-figure one is the 7-figure business owner knows who is the target audience, is they laser focus on the target audience and they try to sell the stuff to the people who are in a need. They don't try to sell to anyone and everyone, right? So this is the main difference. Like, let's say if I'm selling any e-commerce stuff, maybe a coffee bag, then my target audience is much broader. I just need to target people who are interested in coffee. right? And youngsters and that kind of stuff. Let's say my client has a, maybe a $10,000 mastermind in real estate, then my target audience is a whole different thing. I can't sell that to youngsters. Like maybe the demographic should start at least from 35 to 65, right? The 401k accounts, the retirees who already have good money in the bank, right? Who want to learn about real estate. So according to the product and service which you wanna provide to the marketplace, understand who's in the requirement of that and then choose them, test out stuff, and then try to scale it. By testing out the stuff, like it always comes on testing. Like one simple tweak in your offer can wholly change the, completely change the target audience. So it completely depends. Just go on, publish the content, check who is engaging, then acquire a little bit of customer, a bunch of customers, then check what are the similarities, then target those. Maybe if you're into Facebook ads, check what are the similarities. Like let's say everyone is a man and they're aged about 35, then what you're going to do when you're going to run ads, target people who are about 35 years of age and who are women. Let's say everyone is from California, then you should target California. California. Very simple, like demographic, interest, and the needs and the pain points and everything. So understand who exactly it is by publishing, by engagement, then by analyzing the data. Because if you are not analyzing the data, then you never know your real numbers. Then it's really hard for you to check the KPIs and scale your business, right? If you, if you scale blindly, then you're definitely going to lose, right? That's the whole game here. So this is the number one key to success, is understand your demographic and sell effectively to only the customer who is in need, right? Like No matter if you're showing your ad to anyone and everyone, Facebook is going to charge. Why to just show your ad to anyone and everyone? Better show your ad to someone who is interested, right? That's the way you can make money back. I hope this made sense, guys. So this is how you understand your target audience. Let me know if you have any more questions. I would love to help you.
