Running A Successful Funnel Agency On Automation & Scaling to 7 Figures - ft. Chris Funnel | TNS 5

Chris Funnel built a 7-figure funnel agency in 16 months after discovering ClickFunnels in 2016. He says funnels fail most often because people skip audience research, don't validate their offer, or overcomplicate the design. His toolstack includes ClickFunnels, ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, and Trello.

So he'll be super happy to answer your questions as well. And yeah, just to give you an introduction, Chris Funnel is a 2 Comma Club Award winner, and he's a very crazy guy when it comes to funnels. He helped multiple companies to grow to 6 and 7 figures and beyond using his strategies with the funnels. Funnels and ads and all the cool stuff which is really required to make the most out of the least using automation and funnels and ads. Right. He's the CEO at Funnel Effect. And yeah, let's get pretty much started. So Chris Funnel, it's really cool. Your name is very relatable to ClickFunnels. So yeah, let me say it again. Chris Funnel, can you please let us know your backstory? Like how did you actually get started?
Sure. So yeah, it's quite a good name to have in the funnel industry. You know, when I first started in online business was around about 10 years ago, actually. So my first business that I set up was online selling like legal highs and things. The reason I set up this business is because I've pretty much been working since I was like 16 years old or 15 years old. I had my first job, right, working in a shop.
Okay.
So, but you know, not fun. I think back then the minimum wage was like £3 an hour or something like that, so not a lot. And all throughout my career working like for people before I started my online business, I think a lot of people could probably relate, like I did not feel like I belonged in any of these jobs that I had. You know, I just never ever felt like I belonged anywhere. I was always like really critical of the owners of the business or the managers, the people that were running the show. I always felt like I could do it better. And so I never got on with anyone. I was always falling out and having to leave jobs. So I set up my first online business 10 years ago, and I got into kind of like the world of Google Ads and SEO. And I literally just went from my job before that, which was in events and music, music events and like bar management and things, which was really hard work, and I had to get out. So I set up an online business, jumped straight into Google Ads, and learned about SEO. Now, that was 10 years ago when I was like 20, 23 years old, roughly 23, 24. And I didn't want to give away my real age, but hey, whatever. So I got into this online world, didn't know what I was doing. And to be honest, most of the time, you know, I failed. So my first business failed.
Yeah.
My second business failed. My third business failed, but all the time, you know, you do make some money. Like, I did make some money and I was getting by, but everything would sort of build up to a point and then just go— something would go wrong and I was unable to handle it. Um, yeah, you know, fortunately I kept going and, um, I guess I discovered ClickFunnels and like the whole funnel community around about 2016. And at that point I was like sort of using funnels to help some clients that I was getting here and there. I didn't have a lot of like consistent business, you know, it was always a struggle, like always trying to find new clients. You'd get some clients come along, you'd have some success, but then it drops off again and you're back to that scramble to try and get like more customers. But fortunately I found ClickFunnels and kind of from there I started building out the webinars and things and launching new products and funnels. And eventually, I think my 2 Comma Club funnel, I launched that in 2018, um, November 2018, and it was 16 months till I hit 7 figures and obviously qualified for the award, which was a pretty, um, awesome moment, I have to say.
Big achievement. Yes.
Yeah, so, um, that's kind of a little bit of my story, like where I came from and how I got to this place now. But along the way, I don't know if anybody's followed me or if they follow my content, I'm all about family. You know, like I like to get the results, do the work, no fluff, like no BS, because I want to build a life for my family that, you know, 100%.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Probably what most people want, isn't it?
Really, really simply inspiring, Chris. I need to appreciate that. Like, started at a very young age, hustle, got through the pain, had multiple businesses with a failure, but you never quit.
Right.
That's the attitude. Like people started, but they never, they're like, ah, I don't have time. My business is failing. And I'll go to, I'll go back to my 9 to 5. But yeah, you stick to it, you know what you want. And then you finally achieve it. You've gone through that rough pain and now you're at a level, at a whole different level where you are helping other people to achieve their 7 figures and all. Right. So it's really cool. And then you had the— and I think you were one of the first guys taking advantage of the ClickFunnels initial moment. Right. That's— that also helps you to take the momentum of the ClickFunnels, you know, the movement of the ClickFunnels as well. That's really important here as well. Yeah. And, uh, this funnel— as you're very relatable with the funnel stuff, I want to ask you mostly questions which are related to funnels. Like, why do you think funnels are so important for any business online right now?
Well, the, the thing about funnels is that they— the very nature of a funnel is like once somebody lands on a landing page page, if it's set up right, it's going to capture attention of the person that lands on the page. You know, that's the whole point. If you get the right traffic to the funnel, it captivates attention, and so then it takes the customer or the prospect on a journey until they become a customer. So the attention is important because, as everybody knows, like, at the moment it's a fight for attention everywhere, you know, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, like everywhere. People, the eyes are there.
All the time.
Yes, but how do you get the attention, you know? And if you can make a good ad and get someone onto a really solid landing page, then the funnel's then gonna, you know, it's gonna bring you customers. And, you know, I'm not gonna say websites are dead. Everyone says, like, in the funnel community, websites are dead. I mean, they're not, they're not completely dead, but like, you can have your website, but you need a funnel for any offer that you're going to launch. You need to have a funnel. Um, because the conversion rates are going to be higher, obviously.
Exactly.
Yeah, you don't have to be like in the funnel sort of community, or, you know, you don't have to sort of be around funnels that long before you realize that, holy cow, like the conversion rates are going to go through the roof when you start implementing, you know, the right strategies with a funnel. And it's funny, actually, like I recently— yes, funnel about probably almost 5 weeks ago now. Brand new funnel, brand new agency, completely all new. And rather than like focusing on, you know, funnel people and the ClickFunnels community, I was focusing on local businesses like near where I live. Because like, as a, you know, a ClickFunnels person, 2 Comma Club winner, like most of my business is all around the world. So like North America, Europe, Australia, all over the place and some UK as well where I'm based. But I decided to set up this funnel where I'm attracting local clients and in my local area. So really, like, we're not in a big city or anything like that. There's lots of small businesses around here. Nobody really knows how to do anything online. So I decided to—
they're a brick-and-mortar kind of things.
Yeah, yeah. I tried to sort of just find some local businesses and I did. In a month I had like almost 500 people come into a group for some free training, which I delivered. And, um, basically I've just been blowing their minds with funnels. I've built— already we've got a 6-figure business with this agency as well because we've done enough sales. Like, if we do that every month, we've got 6-figure business. I think there's been like $15K, $20K in sales on the front end and contracts for retainers because I was able to blow people's minds with like the concept of funnels, how to advertise properly on Facebook, and people just don't know about it. So it's like, yes, if you don't know about funnels, you're definitely missing out. And this is what is evident now from— I actually had a workshop yesterday where I had 12 entrepreneurs from the local area. They paid to come to an event and have like a workshop just on online business, and most of them didn't know what funnel was. So it was like, it's completely different to like, no, online in the ClickFunnels group, everyone kind of knows what funnel is. They're all excited. They all got Russell Brunson. They love him and that. But I've got these people into a room and they're like, we know this guy. They don't even know what this award is, but they're like, okay, we're gonna listen. And all of this happened really because funnels, you know, and being able to implement funnels properly, not only for myself But for other people, it's just about really like targeting your exact audience with a really specific offer that they just desperately want. You know, that's really what funnels are for. So yeah, that's what— that's why I think they're pretty important.
That's totally— that totally makes sense, brother. You know, like, this is really crazy. Like, guys who are watching this, like, you know, like Chris Funnels helped a business to grow to 6 figures within 5 weeks using funnels. Like, You see how powerful this tool is, right? So you need to use funnels right now inside your business, or else you're missing out. As Chris mentioned, websites are not completely dead, as Chris mentioned, but they are not much proven to convert. If you use a funnel, it converts much better than you use a website, because, you know, less options to give, more call to actions you have, the more conversions you get, right? So obviously, like, funnels don't have any, uh, you know, like, uh, that, you like no confusion elements at all. So it gives good flow so that you can easily convert a cold traffic to a customer very, very easily. And you know, Chris, like a lot of people start business, of course they can go to like 4-figure, 5-figure, which is easy. But there is in like, you know, so secret sauce kind of thing when they want to go to hit 6 or 7 or 8 figures and beyond, right? Like people like you have an idea about this, like, you know, that, that, you know And maybe if it's a mindset key or maybe if it's some technicalities or maybe like maybe add a funnel or offer something like that. But my main question is like, what do you think people face problem with when they want to scale the business to a 6-figure or 7-figure or beyond? What do you think is the main problem people usually face while they want to scale?
Yeah, I mean, you kind of touched on a few of the main problems, but it's very much reliant upon systems. Okay, so the systems are kind of key, and, and part of systems, like the major part of systems, is people. Like, what systems you have in place and what people do you have to keep the systems, you know, running and keep them flowing. Yeah, because it doesn't matter whether you're selling, you know, if you want to sell a million dollars worth of $50, you know, course, cheap course, or you want to sell a million dollars worth of selling $5,000 packages, like both of those things have a strong element of delivery and fulfillment. Obviously, if you're selling $5,000 packages, you've got fewer people to deal with, but you're giving them more. So you need lots of people in the picture to help deliver the services to those clients. Equally, you know, if you've got a whole bunch of people, like thousands of people buying this $50 course, you're going to have a lot of people to deal with there for support and stuff like that. You can probably automate more of that to a certain extent, but you're still going to need people. So building robust systems for everything and getting people involved to help you maintain that, whether you hire virtual assistants and, you know, remote team, or you have people like in your office with you, which is what I have now, as well as having remote workers, you know, If you go and look at any 7-figure business, probably 2 Comma Club winners, for example, you look at them and ask everyone, you probably have spoken to them, how many people are in their team? Some of them may only have 2 or 3, but a lot of them are going to have like more than that. And especially when you like talk to the 8-figure earners, and let's not even get started on 9-figure earners. I mean, massive teams, hundreds of people. Alex Becker would be a good example. I don't think he's at 9 figures, but like he's got his software company, he's got hundreds of people working for him. You know, all the Two Comma Club X winners, the 8-figure earners, they've got like dozens of people working for them. So systems and team. And obviously to get to this point where you understand systems and team, you've got to have a really good mindset and be able to like bite the bullet. And when you've got a good flow of money coming in, invest in the people and invest in the systems and the software and the tools that are going to help you. Because you can make a lot of money as a solopreneur. So I mean, you can probably make up to like $30,000 a month, right, as a solopreneur. And you probably can get by just about, but you're doing everything in the business. You know, I was at this point, you know, early on in my, my 2 Comma Club journey, right? But it's tiring. So you got to get people in, and that mindset shift where you have to be ready like to make it to the next level in your head, like seriously ready. And you have to forecast or like predict or project all of these things. But I'm going to need people for this. I'm going to need someone to do that. And to be honest, a lot of the time to get you over that line, you probably just need to get a coach or a mentor who's been there before and they can show you like, okay, so you need someone to do that. You need someone here. There's VAs over here that can help you. You need to outsource that. And there's things that you need to outsource that you wouldn't normally think of outsourcing as well. So yeah, I mean, there's a lot to think about that. I mean, the crucial things, systems and people, that's the— those are the main two.
Yeah, that totally makes sense. And yeah, this is absolutely the rock foundation, right? So no matter what business you are in, if you want to see a scalable solution without systems, you can go nowhere. Right? You can start, you can have a couple of people, you go dang, dang, dang here and there, then you're boom, you'll get exhausted and you'll get frustrated in your business. But if you have right system and people in place, this is highly scalable. And then another thing which I want to mention is mentor. This keyword called mentor, which is really important, right? You need someone who will guide you through every single step, like, hey, this is what you need to do, this is not what you need, right? So it's really important, right? These are the two keys which are really important. I appreciate your answer. That really totally makes sense. It's a kind of eye-opening thing, to be honest. I really appreciate it. So yeah, another thing is, uh, yes, Chris. So people are doing it, but I see a lot of people even in the community and every, every person who is starting to use funnels, they complain every time like, hey, my funnel is failing. My funnel fails. Like, as you are a funnel expert, what do you think are the key principles or like the key things which mention if a funnel is successful or not? Like a key KPIs or even like a, what differentiates between a failing funnel or a high converting funnel? What do you think is the main difference?
Well, the main thing, and I guess probably the main problem that I see people have is that they've not explored their market enough and they've not explored their ideal customer enough and they've not learned enough about their target audience. This is the biggest problem people have. Like, people will brush this off and say, oh yeah, I can sell what I want to sell. You know, I just need to go and get traffic. You know, they don't even like think about what the offer is. They're thinking too much about themselves and, well, I think this is a good deal that I put together or whatever it is, whatever the product is like, I like it, it's going to work. But you have to actually spend like most of the time in setting up a funnel is spent on understanding who the audience is and what they want or what they need. Like, and you can be specific, obviously. About which problems your audience have and how you can solve them. Most of the time needs to be spent working this out before you even start putting a funnel together. You know, before you even start setting up a page or even buying a domain, you've got to work out exactly who you're going to serve, where you're going to serve them, and how to differentiate yourself from anybody else in that marketplace as well, because most of the time you're going to come up against competition. It's very rare that can really carve out a niche for yourself or get the blue ocean, like Russell Brunson calls it in his books. I mean, you do that by— you go into a market that is probably crowded. Like, typically you've got health, wealth, and relationships. They're the core niches. So if you're going to go into there, you have to have a differentiator, and you have to be able to agitate the problems of the audience in order to get them to even, like, pay attention to your ad. Or your content before they even come to the funnel. So before people start building funnels, they jump in, they're like, I'm going to build a funnel for this, I'm going to build this and that. But it's a waste of time because even I've like made these mistakes as well. I'm like building funnels like, I think this is really cool, build a funnel. And then I'm like, no, that's, that's crap. You drive some traffic, nothing happens.
Yeah, it does.
I mean, I see people all the time like The best way to sort of validate an offer is to just put loads of content out there. Or if you're validating an idea, put lots of content out there in the niche, get feedback first, then you can formulate an offer. You can do more research by obviously doing like ask campaigns and things like that. But before you even build the offer, make sure that people want what you're gonna sell. If they don't, then craft something that they're gonna want. And that's why most funnels fail. And then when it comes to the actual funnel, you know, the technical bits, the failure comes from like poor layout, poor design, not keeping it simple. Like, to be honest, you just got to keep it simple. Yes.
Yes. A lot of people complicate with different elements.
Yeah. So keep it simple. Like, get the perfect avatar, make a great offer, and then keep the funnel simple. That's, you know, it sounds simple, but you really do have to keep it simple.
Yeah, that really makes sense, Chris. You know, like, this is kind of like— I don't know how many people are getting this or not, but this is so valuable. Like, what Chris is providing here is complete golden nugget. Like, he's giving you the complete layout. Like, before you come up with a funnel, you need to offer validate your stuff, right? You need to check with content whether people like the— whether there is a market demand or not. Then after you see good market demand, then only you should proceed with having a clear vision on your offer. Then you should design your funnel. And I'm not talking about flashy or colorful shady funnels. It should be very simple, as Chris mentioned, right? So if you do it in the right way, then you will be filling out in, right? Definitely. Yeah, that totally makes sense. I appreciate your answer. Yeah. And Chris, are you like— as your expert in the funnels, like, what tools do you really use, uh, to, to do funnel hacking or to do design stuff to take care of the technical part and like basically give us like, if you can, can you give us a, like, you know, like a checklist or something like that? Which tools do you recommend to the people who are into this funnel community and all?
Sure. I mean, I'll start off with just like basic funnel design stuff. I mean, we try and keep stuff simple. Sometimes people do want a nice design funnel, depends what level of sophistication they are in the market. But if you're just starting out, you want to keep it simple. You want to keep your funnels simple and, you know, keep your tools down to a minimum. But anyway, on the design stuff, there's tons of Chrome extensions that you can get. For example, if you want to find out what, like, font someone's using, there's an extension called Font, which helps you, like, see what font people are using on their funnels. There's tons of extensions for making gradients to make your, like, the colorful parts of your funnels look nicer with CSS code. And like there's places like Envato Elements or Envato Market. You can go there and get all your graphics and things like that. Stock images, you can go to Unsplash. There's another, there's a few others other than Unsplash, but I seem to go there a lot. Pixabay.
Yeah. Yeah.
You know, there's loads of things like that for design. Like those things are easy to find, but the tools that you really need, I mean, obviously like ClickFunnels, my number one tool. Yeah.
It's the basement, right? It's the base.
Yeah. But like I said, you know, if you haven't got your offer validated yet, you don't even need that. All you need to do is get the audience in front of your content, right?
Exactly.
You've got to collect emails somehow, so I, you know, I recommend ClickFunnels, right? Landing page builder, funnel builder, it's the best. Email, it depends what budget you're on. Like, ActiveCampaign's got the best for your email follow-up, best features. You can even do SMS from there as well. Um, but if you're on a budget and you don't want to do SMS, Drip is actually really good. Drip is a good email platform which essentially it, it has some of the performance tools of ActiveCampaign. It's probably easier to use for most people, but it's cheaper. And I know that some people are coming in with a lower budget, so you start off with something like Drip, move up to ActiveCampaign when you're getting more high level, when you get more sales. But if you're in like the client business, like I'm in the business of like coaching and agency, so you want to manage your pipeline properly. So there's great tools out there. I mean, HubSpot I've used for a while, but it's like an enterprise-level thing. They do have free plans, so you know, you could potentially use that for managing your pipeline. Other than that, Pipedrive is really good. So you get like a visualization of all your leads and everyone. So as soon as you get a lead from wherever it is, go into Pipedrive and you and your whole team can sort of visualize like where they are at in the process of selling. But ultimately, if you don't want to spend on these tools, like if you're going to send, like if you're going to have clients coming in for potentially high-ticket services or coaching and funnels, like, you know, funnels get someone on the phone, you might still need to follow up. So have a tool to send out proposals. And there's tons of tools for that. I mean, I think Bonsai, that helps you send good proposals to like make good offers to people, like high-ticket offers. And there's a few others as well. Other tools, man, what else do I use? Trello.
People who are watching this, you know, like Chris is giving you the complete golden package of tools. To be honest, even if you buy a $2,000 course, I'm not sure people will recommend this many tools or not. Like people don't even reveal this stuff. You know, like Chris is giving away everything. I truly appreciate it.
Give away the keys to the kingdom. That's what Dan Kennedy says.
Yeah.
I mean, this isn't an offer. I'm not aiming to make money here. I'm aiming to help people.
But 100%.
The one last tool I was going to recommend there was Trello, which is just a project management tool.
Yeah, I use it a lot. Yeah.
I mean, loads of people use it because I don't even think you have to pay for this thing. I mean, you probably can pay for it. In fact, I think I upgraded at one time because I thought I needed a feature. But like this, this tool for free gives you so much. Like you can organize yourself with it, you can organize your team. But more importantly, like we just give clients a Trello board and communicate with them in there and all the instructions of what they need to do to help us help them is all in Trello and clients love it. So that's the other like main tool. Can't think of anything else right now, but you know, if anybody has any questions.
Yeah, yeah, you recommended a lot than what I expected and everything was super awesome, you know, like the top-notch stuff. I need to appreciate it. Amazing. Amazing recommendations, Chris. I totally appreciate that. And yeah, insane, guys. You need to comment right now how much value you're getting out of this live session. Like, Chris is doing amazing on this session. I really love his vibe and the complete free value which he's putting out is amazing. It's insane. And to appreciate this, so yeah, let's get back to another question, Chris. So what do you suggest to someone who is again starting out, uh, for your 20s, or you know, someone who's just starting out? You know, like a lot of ClickFunnels community are more like youngsters. People who are just coming into the digital marketing space who want to create an impact. And you know, like, they go into this shiny object syndrome, they see 100 different things, they get confused, and they do nothing in the end, right? So what do you recommend to someone who is starting off?
Uh, well, my first sort of recommendation is, like, thinking back to, like, when I was— well, I was 23 when I started my first business. Now, the I guess the advice that I needed back then was like not to focus too much on the money because I think that was my focus too much for many years. Like, well, I need to make this money for me, like, and for survival and all this sort of stuff. Don't think too much about the money, but really, really focus on the, the customers and the people that you want to serve. And if you don't know who that is, then you need to find out, like really try and find out who you can serve and who you can serve the best so that potentially you're going to be up there with one of the, the best brands in your niche, for example. And really focus, focus on them, focus on solving the problems that the market has. You know, try and find a gap in the market if you can, and, you know, focus on serving the people through that gap. But take the, you know, take all of that attention away from yourself and think about serving other people first. Because honestly, like, most people, I guess, start off in some way a little bit focused on money. You need to have that financial incentive. But if you're just focusing too much on, like, I need to make this much money, or I want to be rich, you know, I want to have a car, you know, I want to make a million dollars, all this stuff. That's part of it. But, you know, you don't get the big shift to like make the big breakthrough like I have without realizing that you have to kind of work hard on serving the market and what your customers want and what they need.
Yeah, that's the overall answer here. You know, this is really interesting. People look at that quick money. They want to get paid in a week, in a day. In, you know, in a month they want to make quick bucks, but they don't really see the long-term vision of where they want to be, right? Like, people who have a long-term vision end up being in the 2 Comma Club, or at least running a 6-figure business or something like that. People who look for quick bucks just end up being nothing. They just go into that shiny object syndrome and continue doing that, that shit which really doesn't matter. So guys who are watching this live, make sure to have one real focus on that thing. As Chris mentioned, stay consistent and Have a good vision, which is really important. Money is a part of it. When you have a long-term vision and when you're trying to really fulfill it with your heart, money automatically follows. And as Chris mentioned, if you really provide value in the marketplace, you obviously get paid. Even if you do the work for free for 1, 2, 3 times, 4th time you'll get paid, right? That's the overall game here. When you're giving consistent results, when you're adding value into the marketplace, everyone will be happy to pay you, right? That's really interesting, Chris. Thanks, thanks for that as well. And, uh, like Obviously you have a very good achievement like hitting the 2-comma club as well as like how like any big achievements which you have right now and any next goal which you want to hit in future.
Well, life's biggest achievements, to be honest, I think probably the biggest achievement. I mean, like this award obviously means a lot to be able to make $1 million in one business. Like it's not easy. That, that's a big achievement.
and I'm proud of that.
But I mean, the— like, that's epic. And sure, I want to go and get the 2 Comma Club X Award and whatever else they've got, you know, all the awards.
Yeah, you see that as well.
You gotta have these goals. Like I said, the financial goal's got to be there, but you know, the weight of how much work is involved, like, because it ain't easy, I'm not gonna lie. Like, it's not easy. And anybody looking for easy street, like you just said, um, they're not going to get anywhere. Very fast. So I've got goals, I've achieved great things, but the biggest achievement for me, I guess, is overcoming like severe depression and anxiety. Um, because I actually— like, people won't realize this when they see me now, but I've struggled my whole life with anxiety and depression. And, you know, when I first started my business, and probably up until like, you know, when I was 27, 28 or something, I thought I was never going to be good enough to like have a family. But I've overcome that, and you know, business is one of the factors behind that because I've been able to focus on being an entrepreneur, and that's helped me to a certain degree overcome the anxiety and depression. But being able to then like actually have a family and provide for the family and to have happy kids Right. That's the biggest achievement. And I think that's what is probably more important for most people. So you kind of have to have the bigger vision as well.
Yeah, that sounds cool. And, you know, you know, you actually don't look like a person who is in anxiety or depression right now. You are— you change your complete personality. You know, this is a mindset game, guys, who's watching this show right now. You know, like if you have a $10,000 mindset, you'll end up only making $10,000. You need to have that transformation in the personality. You know, Chris transformed himself from being, from being depressed and anxiety person to the one who actually understands with the overview and then fix what's going wrong. That's how he hit the 2CC. But if he can do it, we can do it. It's all about going in all in, right? It's about doing the right stuff. Yeah, Chris, that totally makes sense. Do you have any like next goals or a big, actually like something which you're aiming for, maybe a short-term goal or long-term goal? Long-term goal, something like that?
Well, so my, my next goal obviously is to, you know, grow more but at a much faster rate. So I mean, with, with business, I think what we're doing with our agency right now is the, the plan for big growth there is like white label. So we're white labeling our agency in a completely unique way to other white label facilities that are out there, right? So we're allowing people to leverage our entire team but also our results as well. So you can actually use the results that we've got and, you know, implement that into your own business and brand and white label that to get clients, but then work with us. You know, we have the team to fulfill that. So in terms of growth, if I get enough partners in, then we're going to be getting the 2 CCX award, like, within the next year, probably sooner. Um, so that's kind of like one of my goals. Also, um, my coaching as well, you know, I've set up a separate coaching funnel, um, so I want to grow that and grow that to as big as it can possibly be and help other entrepreneurs, you know, achieve their dreams as well and overcome whatever problems they have in their life and be able to create the life that they want to create as well. You know, 10 years ago If you said to me that I was going to be driving around in a McLaren, have like this huge house, business, family, I would have been like, nope, that ain't gonna happen, right? So I want to be able to take people that are hungry and that have it in them, bring the best out of them, and help them get to where they want to be with their business and with their life as well. Um, and also I've got that other agency funnel, the 6-figure business I just built in the last month. Um, I'm going to grow that as much as possible as well, so I'm really busy and, um, yeah, man, just got to keep pushing. Just keep being consistent.
Yeah, you, you have a very good pipeline of the things you should achieve next, you know. And just to mention, your McLaren looks dope.
And then, yeah, yeah, yeah, as well as your agency stuff is really cool.
We'll talk about that in the end. I have a question about that as well. You know, I was observing that and it looks really interesting for me. I wanted to have more info with that. Even my audience would love to have more information about that. And yes, obviously having consistent goals is really important because you need to know where you're going. Because, you know, having right goals will take us to right direction. If you don't have right goals in the place, then we will be going in a different side, which is not really— it doesn't really matter in business and in life even, right? And as you are already doing 7 figures right now, in this journey you definitely have made at least some of the other mistakes in the meantime, right? Like What was the biggest mistake you have made in your life in this journey?
Well, mistakes, mistakes that I've made probably don't seem that obvious to anyone else. And if somebody else makes this mistake, it doesn't seem obvious to you either, right? But the biggest mistake you can make is, is not hiring people or not investing in the right areas at the right time. Like mistakes I've made even recently, like when I've had a need for another team member, I've put it off or I've picked the wrong person. So basically you've got to— I don't know if— can I say that my biggest mistake is not always following my intuition? Maybe that's true, because whenever I've not followed my intuition, like I need to hire someone for this or I need to get this specific tool or whatever it is to help my business, then yeah, I guess that's the mistake. You know, you need to kind of— you can have a plan, you can have the numbers and all these things to go by and all the physical things that seem to push you in the right direction, but you've got to listen to up here as well. Um, so yeah, follow your intuition. You know, don't make the mistake of like, if there's a voice there that's telling you you need to do something, sometimes you probably do need to do that. Like, and when it comes to hiring people at the right time you've got to do it. Like, don't put it off. Like, even if you think the cash flow situation maybe is going to change— what if I don't— like, if I hire someone and then the money's not going to come in— you kind of just have to go for it because having those extra people around, they're going to help you. So yeah, mistakes I've made probably multiple times in the past: not hiring the right people at the right time. Um, basically not building your team properly. Uh, I've done that. Multiple businesses over the years. So don't make that mistake. You know, get the right people at the right time when you need people. It's essential.
Yeah, this is really important. Like, people will try to save a couple of thousand bucks and they don't hire people, but then these guys need to take care of support, fulfillment, and everything. Like, it's a lot of pain throughout the journey if you don't have the right people. And you know, like, why do you need people? Because they become the system, right? If you have people, if you have a team around that, then it's a complete system. Where you don't need to do any work. You just need to monitor, like monitor what's happening, what's going on. That's it, right? And most of them stuff, the stuff is automated, and every individual will become as a team, and then they run your business for you, which will automatically generate you money in the back end, which is a long-term vision. And people will just see the short term, like, hey, I just need to pay some 2 grand, 3 grand. No, I don't need to do that. I saved that 2 grand. But potentially you're losing 10 times more in the back end. You need to understand. And don't repeat the mistake which Chris did made So whenever you are in your business feeling like you need some help with other person stepping in, just hire, just hire, right? This is one of the very important things, right? And, uh, yeah, Chris, would you like to mention like your main inspiration? Like you always have someone like, hey, I want to become like that guy, like this guy, or like key persons involved in your success for your 7-figure journey, uh, inspiration kind of stuff.
Yeah, I mean, key persons, like, personally, people that, you know, aren't famous. You've got to look up to some people in and around your life. Um, so I've had some members of my family that have done well, and they've inspired me and helped me. Um, not in any, like, financial way, but, like, just in a general positive encouragement kind of way. Um, honestly, my dad. Now Everyone— well, I'm lucky enough actually to have a good solid family, and I've always had reasonably good support, you know. Like, my family have always been there for me when I was younger, you know. My parents and my brother, my sister, they always, you know, they're, they're fighting for me, you know. Um, but my dad, you know, key figure, because like he wasn't an entrepreneur— well, he isn't an entrepreneur, he's retired now. He just sits right around in Spain just relaxing all the time. But he kind of inspired me really to, even though he wasn't an entrepreneur and he was not very good with money, didn't teach me well about money. But what I learned from him was that you got to take responsibility. So even though he didn't have a business, he was in a job his whole life and he didn't seem to really even like his job. But I learned that you have to take responsibility for people. So, you know, that's like one of the key inspirations for me. But also, I guess in business, like, there's, there's so many inspirations. Like, where, where do you begin? Like, if you're an entrepreneur, you probably follow, like, what happened with Amazon, like Jeff Bezos. Like, what's inspiring about him is, like, even though he's got this monopoly on stuff now, like, he knew, like, from the beginning that you've got to give the customers what they want and need all the time. Like, customer service is, like, number one. So I've learned that from him despite this domination he has now. Obviously Russell Brunson, like what he's done with ClickFunnels is incredible really because he's just created this movement and people are just going crazy for it and it's grown so far and wide. It actually helps, like funnels do actually change people's lives and their businesses. So I mean, that's an obvious one. I've got this, you know, from Russell and his team. Um, so yeah, I mean, if most of the people watching this probably know Russell Brunson, right?
100%.
Yeah, yeah, he's a good family man like myself, you know. He's like a family man. He's got the business drive and, you know, he's got that commitment and he's got ethics as well. Um, and yeah, I mean, I don't know who else really. Probably there's a few others, but again, I'll have to come back to you and jump in the comments and provide some feedback there.
Yeah, you know, like when we ask for inspiration, especially for entrepreneurs, they have a list of them. Like, you know, they can name like, like they have 100 different people who they follow. They get inspiration from every single person because we believe like in every person you have at least one other thing to learn, right? So yeah, and really cool, like being accountable for the family is really important, and you obviously learn that from your father, which is really cool. And Yeah, sounds really good. And Chris, uh, can you let me— let us know like your exact, uh, you know, like the new offer which you have right now, uh, regarding the white labeling services? Uh, like how does that exactly work in a couple of minutes?
Um, yeah, so I can't remember what URL that I've put that on, but basically, um, you can find the information for this on chrisfunnel.com, and that's Chris Funnel with one L. So it's just spelled like Chris Funnel, as in click.
I'll add that, uh, in the comment, uh, after the live.
And I need to put the link— I'll put the button on there. So at the moment I've got a couple buttons on there for the different things that people need. Um, I'll put the link for the white label stuff on there as well. Um, I'll do that in a minute because I've not done it yet. I should have done. Um, I'm always like, you know, just throwing funnels together, you know what I mean? Just put it together, you know. So I've got the white label on there and you'll be able to see all the info there. There's a little video to watch.
Sounds really good. Yeah guys, I'll make sure to add that, uh, after the session. Or yeah, and, um, like, where can my audience find you mentoring? I see that you offer coaching program and stuff, so like, where can my audience can find you to join your coaching program or something like that?
Yeah, so on the same link, chrisfunnel.com, I think there's there will be 3 buttons on there. It's like coaching, done for you, and, um, there'll be the white label button on there as well. And also I've got a group which is facebook.com/groups/funnelyfic. I'm pretty sure there's a— I'll put a link on, on my website for that as well.
Okay, you have all the information, guys, uh, in the link. I'll be providing that link, uh, just after the session right now. And yeah, I'm really enjoying the session throughout the part. You have given a lot of golden nuggets so far, really inspiring story and really interesting journey especially. And you know, like I really like the morals and ethics, you know, uh, the transformation of the business and how you're helping other people to success, have success in their life using the true potential of the funnels and ads and having the right systems in place by hiring right teams and everything. I totally appreciate that, Chris. And, uh, Yeah. Do you have any like last words before we conclude? Like anything to say to your audience who are watching this interview?
Yeah, of course. I mean, we actually covered quite a bit. I found myself just like talking a lot when you asked the question. So I've covered so much.
It was really interesting.
Yeah, I've covered a lot. But I mean, the key takeaways I think for you guys really are to focus on, you know, your people, like who you can serve. And how to serve them best before focusing on the money. Focus on your offer before the funnel, you know, and the whole avatar before even looking at the funnel. And, um, yeah, be prepared to like level up. Like leveling up involves lots of different things, like I said, hiring a team and things like that. So just be prepared for all of that and expect growth and be consistent, you know, just be consistent. Like I said, I first started my first business 10 years ago And, you know, I'm here now by being consistent. And that's it. Consistency is key. And systems. Systems.
Yes. Yes. Let's say that again. Consistent. If you've been in the marketplace for long, even if you're failing continuously, you'll figure out one way or the other. But if you just quit and change out your marketplace every other time, then you'll be in that shiny object syndrome again and again. But you never see a clear vision. But even if you're failing, if you, if you choose the right path, even if you fail, you can stick to it, right? Let's say if you stick with funnel agency or ad agency or something like coaching, consulting in a powerful niche, even if you're failing right now, you still have time. You got time. There are other people who are doing it successfully, and you know that it's going to work for a couple of years. So you can go and stick to it around, right? And you can— if you don't quit, what's going to happen? You're going to repeat again, try again, try again. Ultimately, you're going to have success. Consistency, baby. So it was really interesting. Amazing, Chris. Amazing. Totally enjoying the vibe with you, man. I need to appreciate you. Yeah, man. And dude, like, thanks a lot for giving me this amazing opportunity, Chris. I really appreciate your time and my community would definitely love the interview and I'll be publishing this in a lot of other places as well. So we appreciate your value and it was so interesting and really, I personally enjoyed a lot interviewing you, man. I mean it. You know what I mean? I really, I really like interviewing with you. And thanks, man. I'll be looking forward. And yeah, guys, people who are watching this interview, I hope you got a lot of value from Craig. You know how transparent he is and giving a lot of free value. And I hope you were inspired from his story and a lot of things which he teach about the systems, morals, and, you know, like the team and everything. You know, being consistent is really important in the meantime, right? So I hope you all enjoyed the session today and Please stay tuned for the next session really soon. And thanks, guys. Hope you enjoyed. Bye, Chris.
Cheers, mate. Take it easy. Talk to you soon.
