What is a Value Ladder Inside a Funnel | Learn Selling Continuously | Business Development |

Nikhil Sai explains how a value ladder works in a sales funnel: the relationship between what a product is worth and what you charge for it. If a mouse costs $2 but is worth $50, or an iPhone sells for half price, customers see the deal and convert. Without showing this gap clearly, prospects get confused and don't buy.

What is actually a value ladder and is it really important you should use your value ladder inside your business? Should you have it on your funnel or not? Let's discuss. Hey guys, this is Nikhil Sai. Welcome back to another video. Today, today I'm gonna cover the complete information about value ladder. Value ladder, just assume it as a simple direct proportion to the value which you're providing, the price which they're paying, right? First of all, think in the consumer mindset. You don't want to pay $1,000 for, uh, for maybe a small thing. Let's say for this mouse, what would it actually worth be? Let's say it is like $20. So this is a maximum amount which I will pay to purchase a mouse. And if someone is giving this away for $10, I would definitely pick it up because the actual worth is less than what I am paying. As a consumer, I love the deal. And let's say if someone is giving this away for $1,000, I wouldn't be interested. As simple as that. So if you think in the customer mindset, you should always analyze the value ladder. The value which you're providing should be directly proportional to the price which they are going to pay. Let's say if you're trying to get them on a $1,000 product, or maybe a $5,000 offer, or a $10,000 mastermind, you should be showing the value what they will get for that $10,000, $5,000, $1,000 which they are going to pay. Right? So let's say, let's say you are selling any small e-commerce product. Let's analyze just the normal market, check out what's the usual prices, and create a good irresistible offer by showing the actual value of your product. So if you are not having a good value ladder inside your sales process, inside your funnel, then people are not going to understand the worth. People are not going to understand the reason behind why they should opt in, why they should purchase through you, why they should purchase from you. It's really confusing for the customer. So just understand, if you have a perfect value ladder explaining why they need your offer, your product, your service, by comparing with other people and giving away a lot of stuff, by creating an irresistible offer inside your sales process, that's where the actual profit starts. That's where the actual conversion element clicks. Right, so if you're selling, no matter whatever the product you are selling, no matter whatever the service you're providing, you should definitely have a value add. Like, explain what are the every single thing which you are giving away, right? Like, explain XYZ, XYZ, XYZ. Note down what is the actual worth, what is the market value, and what you're offering. Compare, show them the actual price, show them the actual worth, and show them what they're going to pay to get all the grab, all the value which they are paying off. Right, like let's say if I'm giving an iPhone for $100 which is originally packed, wouldn't you be interested? Definitely you will, right? So it's as simple as that. The value which they are getting, the price they are going to pay is actually the thing which they will compare. So if you are actually showing them that the thing which you are providing, which you are trying to sell, is actually more than worth of what they are paying, then you will definitely get conversion. So make sure you have a value ladder perfectly articulated inside your funnel. I hope this made sense, guys. Let me know if you have any more questions regarding value ladder or anything else regarding sales funnels, advertising, and all that kind of stuff. And you may ask like, Nikhil, what kind of value ladder should I use inside your funnel? This is very simple. Understand your customer mindset, understand what are the problems they are facing, what is the actual solution they have inside the market, and just analyze the customer mindset and create a good value ladder. Typically, it changes from niche to niche, product to product, service to service, right? So I can't give you a single formula to create a value ladder, but what I can definitely say is understand what customer lacks and show them that they can get the complete thing in a package and they're literally going to pay a piece of what they're actually worth. That's how you persuade people to take a specific action with you. I hope this made sense, guys. The value ladder is really important, so make sure to include it in your sales process and funnels. This is Nikhil Sai signing off. Peace.
