up to 149,000 of you here in my community, and I wanted to share 3 very non-traditional things that I have done as a dietitian to build this incredible community. One is that I am not an overnight success. I started on this platform in 2014 with a desire to share with as many people as possible the power of using food as medicine, using blood sugar balanced approach, using an anti-inflammatory diet. That has always been my message, but what makes me unique is that I am not an overnight success. It has taken me time to build up this incredible community, and I am so grateful for every single person that's here behind their screen. Number 2, I took 6 years to create a program after posting online. So what you see now is a lot of people joining social media with the hopes of creating a career out of it and trying to monetize. I started in 2014 out of an innate desire to just help as many people as possible, and I launched my first program, My Food Is Health, in 2020. I cared so much about the trust, and also I was working throughout my time of sharing at the Cleveland Clinic Center for Functional Medicine I was working for Dr. Mark Hyman at Case Western Reserve School of Medicine, which is the opposite now today, where it makes it harder to know like how much you can trust a person if their sole desire is to make money off of you versus wanting to really help you. 3 is that I haven't grown my audience to do brand partnership. Makes me cringe to think of the idea of having to read a brand script from a food company telling you about certain benefits that are slightly not aligned with what I truly believe. So you will not find me sitting here telling you about certain supplements or foods that I am making money off of that partnership from because I care so much about the trust. And I don't know about you, but I feel like we're living in times where like more and more people are using their credentials to sell certain supplements or products, which makes it really confusing as the consumer. What partnerships that I did, I think in 2018 with companies like Simple Mills or Ciate Foods, and I'm the medical advisor for a prenatal company, WeeNatal, that I helped to formulate. All that to say, if you're looking for a dietitian that you can really trust, I would love to have an impact on your health journey. And I also want to say just a thank you to all the people who have been here since the beginning who are part of my membership and our other programs who have trusted us along the way.
