I'm going to discuss 5 things that I got wrong in the field of nutrition. I got a lot right, but there are many things that I got wrong. And I think that it's important that we're able to have conversations about the things that we got wrong or that we wouldn't recommend today, because there is certainly advice that I gave 10 years ago that I would not necessarily give in the same way today. And the people, the practitioners that I trust the most are the ones who are able to say, yes, the science is always evolving and I myself am always evolving, instead of thinking about the practitioners who are still stuck in what they learned in dietetic school or in medical school. We have to continue to be able to embrace the fact that as the science continues to come out and as we get more experience with the people that we work with, that our minds can change and that it's important to recognize what we did get wrong.
