Brigid Titgemeier says hormone problems like infertility, severe period pain, and menopausal metabolic issues affect roughly 25% of women but shouldn't be accepted as normal. These conditions are treatable, and hormone balancing can reverse them.
Chapters
Need to stop normalizing hormone imbalances and accepting doctors normalizing them. It is not normal that 25% of women have difficulty getting pregnant or carrying a child to term. It is not normal to have debilitating pain and bloating and cramping. It is not normal to go many years through perimenopause feeling like you are incredibly anxious, exhausted, that you're not able to hold a thought together. And it is not normal to then go through menopause and feel like everything is falling apart with your blood sugar levels rising, your cholesterol levels rising, your osteoporosis diagnosis happening. None of these things are normal, and we don't want to accept them as normal. And there are many things that can be done in order to offset this. Of course, balancing hormones plays an enormous role.
