You cannot skip the basics. It is so important for women, in order to function at our best and decrease our risk of chronic disease, to have great hormone balance, which of course will ebb and flow always throughout these different life transitions. But you have to focus on nailing the basics instead of jumping to the sexy interventions that are touted by Instagram influencers or fitness professionals or whoever it is that you follow. I just can't emphasize enough how important it is to focus on these basics that support overall hormone health in such a significant way. The key basics are your nutrition, stress, sleep reduction, and movement. It sounds so much easier than it actually is, but it can take years of consistency and building these habits that support your overall health. A second layer for me would be relationships. Environmental toxin exposure and nutrient deficiencies.
