Hey LTV class, Jeff Busgang here. Just wanted to record a quick video to say hello and welcome you to the class. Since we're going to be pressed for time when we get in the classroom talking to you from my backyard in Newton, Massachusetts where I live, I'll be on campus teaching and in the area, so hopefully we'll be able to get together outside or inside with masks on. Looking forward to meeting all of you. I know it's a very weird year. It is my 10th year teaching LTV. I created the class with Tom Eisenman a number of years ago to try to fill a hole in the curriculum in the second year. Curriculum focused on the very early stage startups. It's an area I have a huge amount of passion about as a former entrepreneur turned venture capitalist. My day job is still as a venture capitalist with Flybridge Capital. We do early stage investing out of our two offices in Boston and New York City, mainly seed and series A investing and I've been doing that for 18 years. And as I mentioned, I was an entrepreneur in two startups prior to that. One that went public in the mid-90s back in the Internet 1.0 days and one that sold successfully in the early 2000s. That's the train that goes by. I've got the D line behind my house which is very convenient to get into the city. So anyway, that's my story. I've got three kids, ages 23, 21 and 18. Maybe talk about them a little bit over the course of the semester. Married to my wife of 26 years, we met at Harvard College and have been very happy in the Boston area ever since. I'm a total Boston homeboy. I love Boston sports teams, love everything about Boston. So anybody who is interested in learning more about the city, love to tell you about it and just super excited to have you here in class and excited to, although we're going to be virtual, to try to make it an amazing experience for all of us. So thanks. Look forward to seeing you next week. Take care.
