I'm Joel the Doc Craddock with Docs Facilities Solutions and Docs Facilities Consulting. What I learned coming into the environmental services industry many years ago was I had two college degrees and I was a frontline employee for for a local janitorial service. I hung my head in shame because I thought it was a dead end job and I couldn't believe that I had to do this. I have since made this my career. There are so many career paths within this industry. If you apply yourself and you truly apply yourself and you educate yourself and you get certifications, you can excel With Housekeeping Appreciation Week coming up. What better way to celebrate this great event than maybe starting an employee recognition program? These employee recognition programs can be so instrumental in driving your people to excel to do more. These are the individuals that always make us look good at the forefront every single day. They make us look good to these clients and we have to show them how much that makes us happy because we know our clients are being taken care of. Having employee recognition every single month and identifying one or a couple people that have really excelled during this past month and making it a big event for the entire company to be a part of will help motivate other people to see that they want that picture opportunity with the owner or their division head and have it posted at the office with their name or put in the newsletter that goes out to them and the clients as well as a year end employee of the month which is will help springboard going into the next year of exuberance of your staff to do more and want to do more because they know that they're being recognized for what they do day in and day out and how much on some occasions they go that extra mile to make you look good. Sam.
