A single presenter explains a simplified day-trading tutorial — a one-candle strategy — describing concrete steps: be at your desk at 9:30am EST, use the first 5-minute candle to mark the day's high and low, drop to the 1-minute chart for entries, require a gap through the level (fair value gap) followed by a retest and an engulfing candle to enter, place the stop at the first candle of the fair value gap, and target a fixed 3:1 risk-to-reward. The clip is instructional and aimed at traders learning a minimal, repeatable setup.

After nine years of trading, I finally stripped my entire strategy down to one thing. Trading just one candle every single day. That's it. And the craziest part is that I'm more profitable now than whenever I used to use complicated strategies. Here is what that one candle strategy looks like. First, get to your desk at the same time every single day. 9:30am Eastern Standard Time. Start out on the five minute chart and wait for the first candle to close. This one candle is going to give you everything that you need for your entire trading day. Because once it closes, you're going to mark out the high and the low and those are your only key levels that you need. Next, drop down to the one minute chart. Now this is where we're going to find our trade entry. And here is where most people mess this up, so pay very close attention. When price approaches one of these levels, you do not just jump in. You need to see a very specific behavior. What you want to see is price breaking through your level and creating a gap between the candle wicks, not just a wick through the level and definitely not a candle close. That is not enough. You need that gap formation because this tells us that the market is moving with real force. And once we see this, we know who is in control of the market, whether its buyers or sellers. And after this gap forms, we need one more confirmation to enter our trade. This helps us avoid the losing trades and stay consistent. Once the market retests the fair value gap, we need to see a candle engulfing which completely covers the retest candle. And as soon as we get that, we enter the trade. Stop goes at the first candle of the fair value gap and our target is a fixed three to one risk to reward. This means that on your winning trades, you make three times as much as you lose when you're wrong. Trust me, when you follow this exactly as I'm showing you, the market does the heavy lifting for you. Now save this video so you can study this strategy again and again.
