Backtested price levels fail in live markets because traders ignore volume profile. Low volume nodes let price move fast and break through, while high volume nodes slow price down where big positions sit. Real money reveals what candlestick patterns alone can't.

Now, what you see in the backtest are clean levels, but what you see in a live market is totally different. And the reason that most traders never see it coming is because they're just reading candlesticks and not volume. But the volume profile shows you something that price can't— where the real money was actually traded. And inside it, there are two things that explain everything you just watched happen. Low volume nodes, which are areas where no trading happened. So no trading positions were built there and no one is defending that price. When price enters a low volume node, it moves fast and it moves through it. That is why your level got blown through. And then we have high volume nodes, which are areas where a significant amount of trading happened and a lot of large positions were built there. So when price hits these levels, the market's going to slow down and defend those prices. This is why price stalled before doing exactly what you thought it was going to do. Now, if you want to learn more about the volume profile, I have a free course and a community. You could comment the word join and I'll send you a link to it right now.
