How getting arrested made me successful

Here's how getting arrested as a drug dealer made me successful. Now whenever I was 25, I got charged with conspiracy to traffic cocaine and marijuana. But at the time I didn't realize it. This was the best thing that could have ever happened to me up until this point. I grew up my whole life in this industry and I made what I thought was a lot of money at that time. But I also identified myself as that. I said, that's what I'm good at, this is what I'm cut out for and this is who I am. And there was a part of me deep down that wanted to get out of that business. I even tried to start a legal business in that time. I tried to get into sales and the business I started failed. And the reason for this was because my identity was still that of all I am. Is this all I am as a drug dealer? And I wouldn't have ever got out of that mentality if it hadn't been ripped away from me. Because when I got in trouble, I couldn't do this anymore. So my identity was forcibly ripped away from it. And I developed this high standard for a lavish lifestyle. And I knew that I wanted more. I knew I had tasted that freedom and I would not ever go back to just working some average job. So I was forced to figure out what I was really made of. And this is why being at rock bottom is, is the best thing that could ever happen to you because you absolutely have nothing to lose. I mean, I was literally back at my parents house. I had lost everything, all of my friends had turned on me. I mean, if I can do it, to go from that four years ago to where I'm at now, where I've made multiple millions of dollars, I've retired my parents, I have the woman of my dreams who I've met since then and we're getting married. I have a healthy daughter that I'm going to actually be able to be around for and that I can provide for and make sure she has an amazing life. If I can do all that in four years, coming from the fucked up situation that I was in, I promise you that whatever you're in, you can get it.
