A trader uses only the first 30-minute candle of the New York session to set a high and low, then drops to a 5-minute chart to find entries when price tests that range. He looks for a fair value gap back in, stops at candle bodies, and targets 2:1 risk-to-reward every single day.

I only use one candle to trade every single day. And it is so stupid simple that even a complete beginner couldn't mess this up. You see, while everyone else is overcomplicating their trading and analyzing a million time frames, I focus on just one thing. The first 30 minute candle of the New York session. But here's what most traders don't realize. The market tells you its intentions in that first 30 minutes. As in where it wants to go and where it doesn't want to go. So I mark the high and the low of it. Then I'll drop down to the five minute chart and wait for price to test either side of the range. And when it does, I closely look for a specific behavior. Now what I'm looking for is a fair value gap back into the range. And once this happens, I simply enter the trade and I'll place my stop loss at the candle bodies. And for my target, it's simple. I just go for a fixed 2 to 1 risk to reward. This means that my winning trades profit two times as much as my losing ones lose whenever I'm wrong. No overthinking, no second guessing, just following one simple process daily. Save this for whenever you're trading. That way you can study it and make sure you get it right. Because once you see how well this works, it's going to blow your mind.
