Be very careful who your trading mentors are. Lately, I'm seeing something pretty crazy in the trading industry. And if you're a new trader, you need to hear this. And take this from somebody who's been trading for nine years. I have never seen something this bad. As you know, trading has became way more popular after Covid and after 2020, a ton of new people got into trading. You now have these companies called prop firms that will literally give you their money to trade with. That way people don't have to risk their own you. And overall, trading has just exploded over the last couple of years and now the industry is so saturated that a lot of people say it's great to have all this content online, but in reality, it's actually making it harder for you to become successful. Whenever you have a thousand different people to learn from and 100 different complicated strategies, you have a lot of trouble picking which one you're actually going to use. And then this makes it take you way longer to become successful. And this is where most people give up on trading. So instead of focusing on all this noise and staying stuck, this is what you're going to do. Instead, you are going to pick one stupid, simple strategy that makes sense, sense to you and stay consistent with it over the next month. And I want to be clear, your goal with this is not even to make money, but to get experience and build confidence in your own decision making. Because mastering 100 different strategies is not going to make you a profitable trader, but mastering one will.
