I'm going to take you through a real session of my live trading where you'll learn my strategy. You'll see wins and losses and how I coach a room of over 300 traders who are trading live alongside me. First, let's go to 9:30 AM so you can see the process I use to frame the trading day.
So right now I look at this like we've got this previous day's value area high right here. Last night we traded down into the previous point of control. We traded down to that level, saw somewhat of a nice move up. Now we're probably— I would like to see if we can get a move down here into this. I'm really interested in trying to scalp down towards it right now, to be honest. Just, uh, we also have this pre— or this, uh, current week's value area high. So kind of like a little pocket in between these two levels. We could watch how price reacts here as well, but I'm not really betting on it just based on that big move. I would almost look at it like if we could dig into this, get a reaction, and reclaim that, that could be uh, signs of a nice move. Because you can see that like after this area right here, like volume does start to taper off. So look at it like if we do get a reversal and you start moving with momentum towards this, like you could get a flush through the highs. Now obviously we don't have anything to suggest that's going to happen yet. What I'm doing right now at this point is just kind of watching and giving a second at this level to see like how we are, um, let me put Bookmap over here for you guys. To see how we're responding. So, you know, I look at it like, well, if we hit this level, we want to see some kind of reactions. 30— we'll call it 30,700. So I'm watching like what's happening under 30,700. So watching here, we're starting to kind of hit into some of these levels now, um, or I'm sorry, hit into some of this liquidity now. Seeing nice reactions so far in price. Like we see this amount of sellers come down into here. We're now seeing some increasing volume. Increasing CVD, trying to fight back above this $30,700 area. I'm liking the start of this, kind of watching to see how we— if we can maybe retest this level or just get some kind of retracement. Overall though, the reason I like this, we saw a lot of selling, a lot of increased selling into this passive liquidity, and then we saw a sharp move away and nice volume too, right? Nice volume. Um, now the question I like to ask, I was on that like little retracement down, now we're starting to see that move up. So I'm going to go ahead, I'm going to take a trade on this one. I'm going to go normal risk on this one, um, because it is a wider stop, and, um, look to see if we can remove risk after we get some kind of a move. But for now, I'll kind of just let this thing have some breathing room. Logic for the trade, um, we came down to the level that I wanted us to hit, which was the previous day's value area high. Um, we're above the value area high on the week when we opened. We did dig back down into it, so I want to see if we can hold up this absorption. Not really liking that so far yet, but— and we got the trigger, right? Because we came down into this level, we saw quite a bit of passive liquidity, and these sellers ended up getting absorbed pretty nicely. Now what I don't want to see is us fall back down too much further than this and lose some of these levels. Um, this retracement is fine so far, um, but I want to see— yeah, I guess I say I want to see something. I'm pretty confident in this trade, to be honest. I was about to be like Well, fuck off, man. Condition, uh, trigger was there. Staying committed to this one. What I want to see though is some kind of reason to move a stop up, because on these trades where you do have a little bit of a wider stop, you know, I don't want to— I don't want to be too aggressive moving a stop up, but I also want to, to de-risk if possible. I don't really want to see us like get under this and hold, so I'm kind of watching here. I'm not going to put a stop there just yet until we start to make a new high, or at least some kind of more, um, clarity. But I also would manage this a little bit, I guess, dynamically if I see you know, a successful auction under this low. I don't really want to see that. And when I say successfully auction, I mean price trade under it, establish volume, and then stay under it. So I want to see this pop back up into the, the range pretty quickly. Otherwise we're not in, uh, we're not going to be happy campers. Watching the CVD as well, not really a fan of that. So I'm going to cut this one just a little bit early, save a little, little bit of risk. I'm going to let this thing breathe a little bit because to be honest, again, like when I look at this, uh this setup. That was, that was pretty much what I was looking for today. Just didn't work out. So overall, like, at this point, what I'm watching for is to see, like, if we get under this low of day and get accepted, where is the next possible area we'd be moving towards? Lows down here in this consolidation. So I'll kind of watch here. We do have a super aggressive amount of sellers. Honestly, I kind of do like that. $36.75. I'm gonna go a little lighter risk on this one if I enter it. Got a nice volume spike there. Let's see if we can get some kind of retracement. Try to get better risk reward. Yeah, I like that. I'm going to go ahead and take a lighter risk trade right there, look to see a nice pop on this one pretty soon and remove some risk if possible. The 675, the reason I put that is this pretty much this massive Delta spike up here. This is where we started to see a lot of these aggressive sellers come in. I don't want to lose that level for sure if we're going to see this kind of bloodbath continue. And the reason that I'm even framing this out is because again Whenever I see a setup where I'm just like, hey, like, you know, I was pretty confident in that being a long, and when it just got absolutely shit on, that tells me like somebody's trying to sell this market off. And we also see that here. Um, I'm gonna go ahead on this one, I'm gonna move stops up to entry, just be pretty aggressive with the risk management. So remove risk on this, not really looking to take it here yet. I kind of want to see if we can get a flush. I didn't come for just, you know, $1,000, $1,500 on this one. If I get taken out at breakeven, it is what it is. What I want to see here is how we're reacting at that point of control. What is this, 600s? You know, I'll actually go ahead. I'm going to put it at 601. The stop's at 601. It's locking in a little bit of profits here. Kind of watching my eyes going over here. That's the next, like, kind of pit stop for us if we can get there. All right, nice, nice pop there. Okay, so I want to see right here that I'm watching pretty closely. I'll go to 590s with this, so 592. Actually, I'm going to go even lower.
I'm going to go 585.
Stops at 585. What is that, 565? Stop's going to be at 566. 562s, 562s. Actually, I'm going to go, I'm going to go 557. Reason being this little jet right here. I'm being really aggressive now, now that we've got— we don't want to be too greedy. I want to see another jet down. There's got some, some, uh, buyers right here. I want to see more aggression. CBD is kind of bottoming out. Don't want to see that. I want to see more. I'm going to go 550. It's probably going to stop me out pretty quick, but 550 stops at 550. Come on. There we go. There we go. Stops at 539. Actually, I'm going to go 525. Stops at 525. Come on, come on, come right here. Come on. We just need a little one to tip the— uh, sorry, stopped out for nice gain. All right, cool. I'm done. And that, my friends, is how you scalp with order flow and how you don't let your ego get in the way even when you get your feelings hurt.

Now, there are probably some key lessons that you overlooked while you're in those trades, so let's hop back in and go over them.
Because it's very important. The important lesson here has nothing to do with analysis, which we will break down. The important lesson has to do with the ego death you have to have to become a profitable trader. And that is that your analysis is all great, just like whenever you're learning trading, you're preparing to, to take the action. When you learn trading, you're preparing to actually go out and learn, right? Whenever you're watching videos, you're not really learning anything, you're preparing to go learn. And you learn by doing. Whenever you're doing analysis, you're not actually trading. You're preparing to trade. So there's a very, very big gap for most people in between the preparation and execution, right? A lot of people that struggle with trading struggle with this. This is what causes overplanning. This is what causes trading for years and never really seeing any big impact, whether it's bad or good. This is what causes that inaction. And As traders, you have to, to learn how to bridge that gap by killing your ego. That's really what it comes down to. I can make it way big and fancier and go into a rabbit hole, but what it is is killing your ego. Because when you learn, why are you learning? You're learning because you want to avoid failure. But what if failure is actually the only way you learn? What if failure is the way that you actually get good at this shit? But failing in the right way where you're in the right mind where you can actually see what you're doing wrong and, and be able to take accountability for it and be able to actually grow from it. Now in trading, from when we bridge this gap from analysis to trading, what if some of the best parts of your trading are going to come from when you're wrong? You see, most people think that trading is all about being right. If you think it's— you trade for long enough and, and you get so good at trading, you can just look at the chart and say, you know, it's going to happen, and all that pain from being wrong is going to be gone. And it's never that. It never is that, okay guys? It doesn't get to point. I've been doing this for 10 years, 10 years, okay? And I'm still wrong all the fucking time. Guess what? I make a lot of money. I don't care if I'm wrong. I'm actually excited when I'm wrong. But that quick, quick decision— notice how quick I made that decision. I would have probably made that quicker if I wasn't sitting here talking to you guys, to be honest. But that clarity, that absolute absence of fear, of ego, in saying, damn, okay, cool, well, like, I did my homework, I know what I did was right. If it didn't work, something's going on. And this is the kind of stuff they don't teach you in, you know, your basic beginner's bullshit trading courses where they'll tell you focus on trend and, and, you know, have one trade a day, all this bullshit. None of that shit works, okay? It's not real.
Right?
What is real is being able to make critical decisions under emotional pressure in a very fast amount of time. Just like we're trailing that stop, just like I'm sounding like an auctioneer. 56.5. Now look at the market. Look at the market compared to where we exited. We exited at 525. Why were we able to do that? Because of quick decision-making. I had no ego in this trade. I don't care if, if it takes me out.
Even if it would have taken me out and ran another 100 points, whatever.
I made money that day, right? Um, maybe it wasn't a ton of money today because I did lose a trade, but I was able to crawl out of drawdown, walk with profit. And I can tell you with full confidence that being able to do that is probably the difference for a lot of you guys, uh, in between profitability and unprofitability. I mean, hell, the smallest things make the biggest impact over time. Like, for example, if you could just turn half of your unprofitable days into a small profitable day, what would your trading look like?
The biggest takeaway that I want you to have from this video is that you don't have to be right in order to make money trading. And a lot of people online will portray that they're just these perfect traders. They are able to call the markets because their strategies are the best. But I'm never going to be one to tell you that because it's not real. And in fact, a lot of my biggest trading days are when my original idea was wrong. Because remember, our job as traders is just to read the data and information the market is giving us. And if we can see that a setup we thought was going to be right isn't right, well, that's feedback from the market telling us that there is another opportunity. So when you learn to look at the market without ego, without forcing your will on the market, you will see an entire new world of opportunity open up. So thank you guys for watching.
