A three-step intraday trading method using the first 15 minutes of the day to create a volume profile. Wait for a 5-minute candle to close outside the value area, enter at that close with a stop two ticks below the point of control, and target 2:1 risk-to-reward. Beginners use fixed targets; experienced traders trail the stop to let profits run.

This volume profile strategy gives me wins like this, this, and this consistently, and I'm about to show you exactly how in 3 simple steps. Step number 1 is to wait until 9:45 AM, and we're going to take a volume profile and we're going to draw it on the first 15 minutes of the trading day. Step number 2 is to wait for a candle closure outside of this range, which is the value area. So we're not using the candle's high and low, we're just using the value area to get even better trades because this is the actual real structure. Now once we a 5-minute candle closure outside of that range, we're good to move to step number 3, which is our trade entry. So as soon as this candle closes, we enter the trade and then we take our stop loss and put it at the point of control just under it by 2 ticks. After that, the trade is good to go. If you're a beginner, you can target a fixed 2:1 risk to reward. But what I like to do is let the market run and I just trail up my stop until I get stopped out. Now, the way that I do this is after we hit that 2:1 risk to reward, I am just going to take my stop loss and I'm going to put it at the bottom of every single candle. And then eventually I'll get stopped out. But by doing this, I make much more money. You now have a simple rules-based strategy. Save this so you can study it before you trade.
