Three volume profile shapes predict the next day's trade direction. P shape means buyers won and prices moved up, so go long. B shape means sellers won and prices fell, so go short. D shape is balanced, so stay out until a breakout.

3 letters tell you which way to trade tomorrow: P, B, D. These are the 3 shapes the volume profile prints each session between 9:30 AM and 4:00 PM EST, and each one tells you exactly what bias to lean into at the next open. With a P shape, you have a thin leg at the bottom and value built up top. This means that buyers won and value shifted higher and held there, so the next day you would lean long. B shape, thin leg at the top and value built down low. This means that sellers won because value shifted lower and held. So the next day you would lean short. D shape is a balanced profile. Neither side won. The market found fair value and the next day you expect chop. So you sit on your hands until the range breaks. Make sure to save this so you can study it while you're at your charts.
