Something I don't say enough for people that wanna make change in their career but feel that they can only do what they know is that you actually don't know what else is out there and how your skills and experience can apply to that. If I've triggered you watching this, and that's a good thing because that means that you actually do wanna make change in your career and you know that you're just holding yourself back. This is what you're gonna do. First thing is to get a very clear outline of your current skills and experiences. Use an AI tool to do that for you. Literally get your LinkedIn or your resume, put put it into Chloe AI or ChatGPT and say, please extract all of my skills and experience from my resume and LinkedIn. Done. Second thing, please tell me where these skills and experiences could apply in a different industry to the one I'm in now. Two, please tell me what level of experience I would be going in at. These small tasks and information will show you where your skills and experience sits from an objective lens the other industries and roles they might be able to apply to, and the level that you can go in at. Because a lot of the time we think, okay, well, if I'm gonna change careers, I'm obviously gonna have to go in at entry level. That's wrong because you need to be looking at what your transferable skills are and how they can cross over into a higher function in a new industry. So you're not having to start from zero. Take the task upon yourself to be open to what you don't know and to be open to the opportunity of what might be out there for you.
