Something I don't say enough for the people that tell me, there's 100 other people that do what I do, what makes me any different? Or why should I ask for what I really want in an interview? Is that firstly, I'm sorry, you don't feel that you have anything better to offer. And secondly, what this tells me is that you haven't identified what your unique value offering is. It's okay, I'm gonna show you how to do it. I want you to think about this. You're in a room with 10 other people. You all have the same set of skills and experiences. The interviewer is gonna go to each one of you and ask you the same questions about those skills and experiences. What they're also gonna ask is, why should we hire you as opposed to the 10 other people in the room that have the same experience? This is when you need to identify that unique value. The best way to identify this is to think about what is the thing that you are just naturally good at? What is the thing that everyone comes to you for? Your work colleagues and people in your life. That's a start. Read the caption to continue the exercise and give me a follow to learn how to articulate your unique value.
