If you start doing this, you WILL get an interview.

Chloe Spillane says mass applications don't work anymore. Post on LinkedIn at least once a week and message 3-5 internal stakeholders for each role, not just the recruiter. Visibility among hiring managers is what gets you the interview.

Something people really underestimate about showing up online in your job search is the amount of visibility that you will get from potential employers and recruiters. Job seekers these days are doing the same thing. You're applying for 100 jobs and you're sending a follow-up message to the recruiter on LinkedIn hoping they're gonna give you a response and an interview. This just isn't gonna work anymore. And everyone has the perfect resume and cover letter thanks to AI. The way that you will stand out in this job market is showing up online. Let's talk about how you can do that. It all comes down to your LinkedIn presence. Now, for anyone wanting to show up online to get some extra visibility or exposure, I recommend posting at least once a week. Now, I know you're gonna look at me and go, oh my God, I can't do that. But posting once a week is not as scary as it sounds. I've put 4 ideas in the caption on what you can start posting on LinkedIn. The other thing you wanna be doing is for every application you put in, don't just reach out to the recruiter, reach out to your potential manager, reach out to a potential colleague, someone that's doing a job, at least 3 to 5 people in the organization that you wanna be working for. You need to be sending them a message as well. Don't just rely on your application and the recruiter. Use all of LinkedIn and everything that it provides you to get that interview.
