Something I don't say enough for people that are currently applying for jobs and not getting interviews is that if you are only using job boards and applications as your means of getting an interview, you're not utilizing all the channels that are out there to get that next interview. Job applications are one channel. There are many more. What one of those channels is, is self-promotion. Where you can self-promote is on LinkedIn. If you start promoting yourself on LinkedIn, what that is gonna do is that is going to increase your visibility, is gonna get more eyes on you, more exposure. And if you are self-promoting with the right type of messages, because you know your value and your worth and what you can bring, you're gonna be attracting the right type of employers. So how often should you be posting on LinkedIn? I would say if you are job searching right now, you should be self-promoting once a week. To get you started, I've got an example of what self-promoting could look like in the caption. Give that a read and give me a follow if you wanna get more self-promoting ideas.
