A small habit that has had a massive impact on how I show up in my business is not having my phone in my bedroom. Now, at first I thought that was impossible for me because I was always on my phone and I would even use my phone as my alarm. And also I knew I wanted to spend less time on my phone. I knew I wanted to kind of have a breather from it every single day because obviously I'm on it a lot for the work that I do. And so implementing a routine where it's off for 1 hour before bed, it is not in my bedroom, it charges in a room outside of my room, and I don't touch it for the first hour upon waking. I noticed a difference in the very first night. I slept better, I was more peaceful, my brain didn't have like fuzziness or anything the next day. I felt that genuine difference. And so from that first night, I was like, nope, phone's never in the bedroom. And honestly, absolute game changer in how I'm able to show up for business and for myself every single day. Just having that separation from our phone, which is something that we know rules our lives.
